The furnished apartment comes very prepared with basic stuff, furniture, linens, towers, etc. The staff is easy to talk to and friendly.

To landlords contracting with BlueGround please be aware of Blue ground non contractual practices.
First of all they tend to take regular maintenance fees without prior consent of the landlord even though our lease agreement does not provide this flexbility. It was one month rent from Jan to May of this year, so not light.
Secondly and more imortantly, we cancelled the lease agreement with a contractual exit in June 22nd. It was agreed and BlueGround rep called for the exit visit. One week before they told us that they cannot free the property, not having been able to relocate the person using the flat. More importantly, they decided - in full breach with the lease contract - to not pay the last month and told us to use the deposit (eq. of one month) instead. In France this is totally illegal. If we recover the flat in bad shape, we will have no recourse other than going to litigiation.
Please be aware of BlueGround incredibly bad and non contractual practices and use other companies.
I can share all emails from BlueGround to prove this.
Great company to rent an appartment. They help you with every problem, friendly and helpfull.
And fast with communicatiob and solvi g problems. Would rent again! Location is very good, monoprix around the corner and great food stores at crawling distance!

I had a terrible experience with Blueground.
Checking out, I accidentally left a valuable coat (worth ~$1,000 according to Chat GPT) in the apartment. Only 4 hours later, I asked if I could retrieve my coat, and was told it had been “discarded.” Totally unbelievable!! Obviously it had been stolen by the cleaner, but Blueground management rejected any liability because it is “their policy.” That might make sense if the item wasn’t valuable, or if it hadn’t been claimed quickly, but even a 2-star hotel would have a grace period to retrieve valuable items.
Other, smaller issues: The apartment wasn’t ready to be occupied. It was dark and needed more lighting (the dining table was not lit, and the bedroom only had bedside lights) ; there were no cleaning supplies (not even a broom;) there were no kitchen basics (I bought salt, pepper, oil and vinegar.)
Beware! There are other short term rental companies.

In January 2026, we rented a two-bedroom apartment in Manhattan from Blueground for a one-year lease. Upon moving in, we discovered the apartment was severely infested with cockroaches and bedbugs, forcing us to immediately book a hotel.
After acknowledging the severe infestation, Blueground promised us a replacement unit. Instead, they unilaterally canceled our contract without providing any alternative housing options.
It has now been six months. Despite completing a massive amount of paperwork requested by their claims department and following up every 15 days, we are still waiting for the reimbursement of our hotel costs and the official financial closure of the canceled contract. The lack of accountability and endless delays are entirely unacceptable.
I spent over 30k to stay at this place for 9 months but here at the end they want to stick me with a $1400 cleaning bill for a sofa stain and 2 chairs, which apparently, also have a stain. Replacing cheap worn out furniture with my money is what they’re doing.
The apt and process were just as described and I loved my stay. I was worried because the payment process with no refund was strange and there were no reviews of my building or unit which would have been helpful but everything was smooth otherwise and I loved my apt. Would definitely use Blueground again

My one month stay while moving across country to Chicago was exactly what I needed to get started in this new city. The apartment was well appointed with everything I needed to show up and start living! I loved that there were pets allowed so I could bring my furry friend with me. The location was perfect for my first month getting to explore the city and the building staff were always kind and helpful. Blueground service was also unmatched for my entire stay, resolving the one minor problem I had quickly. Would absolutely stay again!

The customer service is truly outstanding; they have provided immediate responses and deliver expeditious solutions to any outstanding (and minor) issues that have occurred. It makes the entire stay seamless and stress-free.

Never trust this company. Run away as fast as you can. They are the most unreliable company. They decided to terminate my contract in the middle of my 1 year contract. Try to steal money from me with ridiculous requests like cleaning charges despite that I stayed in the apartment and there was no cleaning. They haven’t responded any of my requests to clarify the situation. They try to overcharge me despite a 1 year fixed contract to cover all charges and haven’t returned my initial deposit.
They treated my landlord no better than me. Haven’t paid their contractual rent to the landlord and the service charges to the site management. They are either bankrupt and can’t pay for their requirements, or professionally scams. Either way they don’t deserve your business.
Everything was wonderful, this location, the accommodations,… But above all, we appreciated the prompt and professional responsiveness to any questions we had by the Blueground staff member Jorge Serna Buentello.

Do not rent with this business. They cancelled our reservation for a 6 month rental 2 weeks prior to it beginning. Then despite daily emails requesting for refunds we still haven’t received our over 8k refunded to our account - it’s been 3weeks. We are forced to seek legal action at this time. And we have no funds to secure an additional short term rental.
Customers service is responsive but they sight Greece being the main office and give a run around day after day.

Horrible. The apartments elevator broke down and our microwave is broken and can’t be fixed. Nothing has been done
While the customer service team has been kind and supportive, the response time for maintenance requests has been very slow. Issues related to broken or non-functioning facilities have not been addressed in a timely manner, which has been inconvenient.
In addition, the parking management has been very disappointing. My assigned parking space was occupied by someone else, and I had to find alternative parking spots while worrying that my car might be towed. Unfortunately, the building management did not take appropriate or timely action to resolve the issue.
I appreciate the kindness of the C/S team, but I hope the building can improve its maintenance response process and parking management system to provide a better resident experience.
