Blueground offers beautiful apartments, and we chose to stay in one in Lisbon, Portugal. Overall, everything went smooth, and we really liked our apartment of 3 months. We feel like the prices were a... See more

Horrible. The apartments elevator broke down and our microwave is broken and can’t be fixed. Nothing has been done
While the customer service team has been kind and supportive, the response time for maintenance requests has been very slow. Issues related to broken or non-functioning facilities have not been addressed in a timely manner, which has been inconvenient.
In addition, the parking management has been very disappointing. My assigned parking space was occupied by someone else, and I had to find alternative parking spots while worrying that my car might be towed. Unfortunately, the building management did not take appropriate or timely action to resolve the issue.
I appreciate the kindness of the C/S team, but I hope the building can improve its maintenance response process and parking management system to provide a better resident experience.
There were $3000 worth of hidden charges and fees that we did not know about until moving out.

I would like to advise any owner to run away from Blueground. This company is currently occupying my flat illegally, without any contract, not responding to our emails, impossible to reach to any decision maker.
We have someone in our flat for 3 months who have contracted with Blueground but they stop the contract with us and they don't pay us anymore.
The after sales is inexistent; you can never reach anyone who understands your situation over the phone.
My experience staying at this Blueground apt in Paris was amazing! Such a great location, with everything we need! From great wi-fi to do home office sessions, to many kitchen supplies to cook yummy meals. I can't recommend it enough! Would stay at this place again, no doubts.

Blueground did not stand behind its own deposit policy. When its partner raised damage allegations weeks after checkout and after another guest had already taken possession of the unit, Blueground simply directed me back to the partner while my deposit remained withheld against Blueground’s own policy presented at the time of payment. They took absolutely no responsibility even though they are the ones who set the policy and charge your card. Very disappointing experience. Just book on Airbnb and save yourself the headache.
UPDATE: Following Blueground's further disappointing reply under this review, I would like to provide additional context. Their partner, Dubana, provided a parking card that was no longer required for parking access and was never used by me. The alleged card damage was only raised after another guest had already taken possession of the unit and card for weeks. No concerns were raised at checkout or during the 15-day deposit refund period stated by Blueground. Both Blueground and Dubana withheld my deposit and remained silent, and the allegation only surfaced after I followed up regarding my missing refund. Dubana eventually returned my AED 1000 deposit upon realizing their allegations were baseless but Blueground continued to avoid any responsibility. Rather than addressing these facts, Blueground's reply attempts to further justify their mishandling of the dispute by misrepresenting well documented facts and placing the blame on their customer. This reply and the documented facts speak more than I ever could in a review.
FURTHER UPDATE: Blueground has now edited its response again. In its original reply, it stated that the alleged damages justified a AED 1,000 charge. In its revised reply, it now falsely claims the charges were waived as a "gesture of goodwill". Blueground was aware that there was no waiving of charges and the deposit had to be returned since it was being held under false accusations. Readers can draw their own conclusions from the fact that the explanation continues to change while the documented facts remain the same.
FINAL UPDATE: Rather than addressing the documented timeline of events, Blueground chose to report this review to Trustpilot as "defamatory." Trustpilot reviewed the complaint and rejected it, restoring the review.

EDIT: They replied saying THEY relocated me. They refused to cover the difference of a new apartment with their services. The difference was around $500. They said they could not cover that even though it was their fault I landed in a foreign country without accommodation. My reservation STARTED May 21st. I was NOT notified till May 23rd that my reservation was cancelled. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I was forced to book accommodation on my own at the last minute. Blueground does not care about their customers.
Booked a Blueground apartment in Paris over a month in advance, paying $3,300 in full. On May 23rd — while I was already mid-reservation and boarding a flight to Paris — Blueground notified me my apartment was cancelled due to plumbing issues. I had no ability to respond or arrange alternative housing while in transit.
Arrived in Paris on May 24th as a woman alone in a foreign country with nowhere to stay and had to book an emergency hotel for 2 nights, costing $1,464.81. Blueground refunded my original booking and offered $415 toward the hotel plus $150 for the inconvenience — leaving me roughly $1,050 short on hotel costs alone. The replacement apartment I ended up being forced to book on a different platform costed me $162 more than my original reservation and didn’t have the requirements I needed for my stay.
I understand maintenance issues happen, but cancelling a confirmed, paid, in-progress reservation with zero notice while a guest is traveling — and then only partially covering the resulting costs — left me in a genuinely difficult position in a foreign city. Be cautious if you're relying on Blueground for time-sensitive housing.

3 months after checking out I am still trying to get my security deposit refunded. They claim they sent it but have not and their support is not very helpful. Very disgusting!

Blueground was just amazing, we stayed in our apartment in Vienna for around 10 months. No issues whatsoever, if there were small things like we had (toilet seat broken for example) they fixed immediately. Customer service, top notch. Highly highly recommend.
