Website was really full of information…
Website was really full of information (and other reviews) that helped me make decisions about what i wanted. The stuff came really quickly, and it's been on my bikes for a couple of weeks—very happy with saddle and tape.

Lovely bike and nice people to deal with
The website was easy to navigate and the team at Temple Cycles responded to my frame sizing enquiry promptly. Once ordered my bike, an Adventure Disc 1, was built within the anticipated timeframe and delivered, well packaged, the next day. The bike is nicely finished and is comfortable and confidence inspiring to ride. Could not be happier with my purchase.

The company seems to be a scam
The company seems to be a scam. They claim to produce bikes in small batches, and that they are 'made in the UK, in Bristol' it's a misleading statement, as the frames and forks are made in Taiwan. So they charge way over the odds for these bikes, leading people to believe they are actually made in the UK, when they are actually only put together here with components that are made in China and Taiwan - as are most other bikes.
Also, the setup of the 1x9 on the lightweight classic is set up to fail- the chain line is too severe leading to the bike slipping out of gear. It should be built with 2x crank and front derailleur. Are they just doing this to save £? They must know this setup doesn't work.
Asked them what company in Taiwan produces the frames, the reply was: "I am sorry, but unfortunately we are unable to divulge that information for confidentiality reasons."
Talk about transparency. What are they hiding? This reply from temple doesn't fill me with confidence.
I would urge you to consider the language used on your website which could lead people to believe the frame and fork are manufactured in the UK, when in fact your bikes are only assembled in the UK. It does seem you've revised your introduction slightly on the site since.
Other businesses do indeed disclose where their frames are manufactured. I think this information is important to customers. The brand 'Surly' for example use 'Maxway' in Taiwan to produce their frames. To me, I don't fully understand what you would lose from being fully transparent.
As for the extreme angle of the chain line when In gear 1, on the 9x1 setup- if you look through your reviews you will find other complaints about gears slipping.

Good products and turnaround but pick up the phone.
I bought a nice bike partially assembled with parts I had to assemble. Bike was nice, well made. A bit pricey but ok. I had to call the workshop (the only tel no. given) to change the delivery address which had defaulted from somewhere and was wrong. I called about 5 times over a week and no-one ever picked up the phone. I tried the contact us and eventually got an email.
Thrill of arrival
The bicycle was ordered on-line on the recommendation of a friend for my son's 14th birthday. The traditionalism and good looks appealed.
It was easy to specify on-line and he was thrilled when it arrived quickly with very little to do to get on the road. Off we went, me with my Claud Butler, 1983 vintage, Reynolds 531. Him with Reynolds 520. Must investigate what changed? We never spoke to anyone at Temple, but we are grateful!

Good people making good products
Immy and Marcel @ the London store have honestly made me feel so welcome each and every time I popped into the store since falling in love with the AD1.
Immy has such a warm and fun energy, she put together a great bundle with all the kit for my cyclescheme. Still awaiting some little things but the bike & 90% of the kit are now with me.
Marcel built the bike, which is absolutely class. Tended to me in a moment of despair when got a puncture on my first ride out! (I’d not ridden tubeless before) & just gave me some solid guidance to dealing with this on the go.
Nothing but good things to say really. Love the ethos of the brand, frames built in Bristol, super nice finishing kit & wish I could be on it 24/7.

Communication was very good from the start. My frame arrived well packed and looks great.
Exceptional customer service
There were a few bumps in getting me the perfect bike. You can really rate a company by how they deal with problems that arise, and these guys were amazing and went above on beyond.
This is a small step through but with smaller handlebars and comfort pads.
I’ve been struggling to get back to cycling due to a back injury and il really back riding a bike in comfort.
The product is fantastic and great customer service
The product is fantastic. Frame feels really good and components are of excellent quality.
Customer service is second to none.
Would recommend this company to anyone in the UK buying a bike, can't thank Temple enough
Great customer service
The team at Temple were very helpful in dealing with my quite specific requirements to find the right bike to replace my old rigid mountain bike, with the end result being a very nice high spec Adventure Disc 1 gravel bike done as a flat bar conversion, which is close to what I was looking for as I could get in this day and age. Just about to put it through its paces on a tour around the Netherlands, and I’m certain its blend of retro style paired with the best modern components will turn more than a few heads.
Well done guys, great job, really cool bike.

Prompt processing and delivery
Great customer service
Great customer service. Prompt delivery and great product but, in the end, I wasn't able to use it. Staff were very helpful in arranging a refund.
