I moved from US to London in 2023 and when it was time to pay taxes on my US income I did some search and came up with your company with good reviews so I decided to contact your Twickenham office and let them do my taxes since 2022. I met great team in that office specially Melissa Fernandes who has been doing my taxes for the last 4 years who is a wonderful person and very knowledgable and doesn't hesitate to help us either in person or on the phone and she is a very big asset to your company and needs to be rewarded.

I used TaxAssist Accountants for the first time this year.
I'm highly impressed with them tbh.
Tola & her team made every thing very easy & painless.
The E documents sent to me to sign using the app were very easy to deal with.
I was greeted warmly at the Wickford office for my two meeting there.
I would recommend using TaxAssist 100% & will using them again next year 100%

The tax return was completed within agreed timescales with Tax Assist Accountants. This enable me to meet HMRC timescale for receiving self assessment.

I was very disappointed by my introductory meeting with TaxAssist accountants. The e-mail I had received suggested that this would be a meeting where we could discuss specific questions I might have as a new business director and receive 30 minutes of free advice. However the person I had the call with made it very clear that they were only interested in signing me up as a client and until that happened there would be no discussion whatsoever of specific finance or tax questions. My meeting was with the Hounslow and Twickenham office at 2pm on November 7th 2025.

Tax Assist were amazing in the service they offered to help me with a tax dispute with HMRC. They not only sorted out the dispute but have also helped me in not having to complete any future tax returns.
This was a huge weight off my mind, thank you

Proactive response and explained
To me what needs to be done re self assessment.

Woodville, ON Franchise Need to employ people who know what they are doing and don’t just learn Bookkeeping in a 6 week to 6 month program. Also at least one person in a small town office should have a designation or several years experience.
Also when question are asked to them in regards to certain year end issues it shouldn’t take them over a week to respond.
Also they should not be charging to explain or correct someone’s year end when it is their accounting errors.

I visited TaxAssist in Inverurie for advice on digital income tax. Barry McCabe was very helpful and advised me on how to apply for an exemption based on my age and caring responsibilities. My application to HMRC for the exemption was approved within 3 weeks. Great outcome from an excellent service. Highly recommended to others with similar concerns.

Sarah travelled to meet with me to discuss my requirements. She was friendly, informative and helpful. Would recommend.

Made very comfortable in discussing what I wanted to know and put at ease on tax affairs.

As with all firms, reviews differ, some are based on personal “grandiose” or “envisaged entitlement”, so if a negative review is placed because something didn't or isn't going as good as you had planned, despite the years of planning… the accountant cant be to blame. Maybe imagination took hold and then at some point the fairytale or imaginative, (unfair or heavily outweighed) conclusion didn't materialise. Again, not the accountants fault.
* shared family business…😂 its only shared if shared equally. The so called family business is not a family business and certainly not started with my ex wife…

To say a “family business” and “he was my accountant” could be interpreted as true, could be! But in reality…..
You cant keep blaming others for your own imagination or your unguided misconceptions…
