I’ve ordered on line pots & pans worth £1766.63 including £69.60 delivery, I placed an order on 10 November 2025. 4 weeks later I got big crate delivered, as I was busy I didn’t open the crate for few days, when I did open found half 4 item missing ( half )( and I got EXTRA CHARGE £380 for custom duty) so I contacted them through email, they got back saying oh yes the rest will be arriving in few days, weeks go by nothing, then sent email again, again told me it’s coming in few days, still nothing weeks go by email them again same excuses, after so many lies, I said no just return my money, they said ok, weeks go by nothing contacted again said oh I got few item do you want me to send them I said no just return my money please, again week gone by nothing from them, contacted them again email, this time got reply saying oh I put a urgent return message you should receive it, again weeks gone nothing, I cannot count how many email I’ve sent, finally I got so fed up it’s almost 5 months since I put an order which should take delivery 4weeks, nothing contact my PayPal then few days later got my money back, so I would never use them again and I urge people do the same avoid at any cost, as you will not just pay but also pay extra custom duty which is a lot I’ve paid £380. Just remember all this was happening from start they never contacted me first, I had to contact them to say my order half was missing. Any decent company will contact there customer stating all item not ready so can we send half now rest in few days but no there never contacted me first, I had to contact them, AVOID THEM, thanks for your reply saying it’s not accurate I was hoping you’d say that as I have all the email could send you just like I’ve sent to PayPal do you wish to see it?

We are sorry to read your review, however your description does not accurately reflect what happened. Your order was shipped in multiple packages, which is normal for fragile items such as cookware sets. As we explained in our emails, the remaining items were dispatched separately and were expected to arrive shortly after the first delivery.
Regarding the £380 charge, this was not a customs duty, but UK VAT, which is applied when goods enter the United Kingdom. As clearly stated on our website, customers in the UK purchase without VAT, and the local VAT is then collected by UK customs when the goods arrive in the country. This is standard procedure for international shipments and is outside of our control.
When you later decided not to wait for the remaining items, the matter was handled through PayPal’s buyer protection process, which resulted in the refund being issued.
We always aim to communicate clearly and support our customers, and we regret that this situation did not meet your expectations.
Beware of Duty Fees USA
It’s a bit shady to offer a really good sale price to grab the attention of customers. Only to be told by DHL you must pay several hundred dollars to receive your package the day it arrived. You have five days to pay this or they will return the package to Tatta Home.
I scoured Tatta Home website for any print of duty fees on purchases made to be delivered for the USA. And I have found nothing!!!
I should have known it was too good to be true! What a SHAM!
And all the positive reviews are sketchy too…!
I don’t need anything from this company that bad to pay an astronomical fee for delivery of items that cost just a few dollars more than the duty fees. Kick rocks Tatta Home and DHL.

We are sorry to read your review and we understand your frustration when import duties are requested upon delivery. However, it is important to clarify a few points.
The charges requested by DHL are not fees applied by Tattahome, but import duties and taxes established by U.S. customs authorities. In recent years these tariffs have increased following the trade policies introduced during the administration of Donald Trump, which imposed duties on many products imported from Europe.
These costs are completely outside of our control and are calculated directly by U.S. customs and by the courier responsible for the customs clearance process.
On our website it is also clearly stated that:
for shipments outside the European Union VAT is removed,
but any import duties and local taxes must be paid by the recipient, according to the regulations of the destination country.
Tattahome ships orders to the United States and all over the world every day, and many customers appreciate the fact that they can purchase authentic European products at prices often more competitive than local retailers, even when import duties are applied.
We sincerely regret if this information was not noticed before placing the order, but describing our company as a “sham” does not reflect the reality of the service we provide or the transparency with which we have operated in the international market for many years.

Delivery and costs
Order placed over a month before I actually received the item. Then, when it was finally about to be delivered to my home, I had to incur additional shipping costs of over $100 that had to be paid or it would not be delivered. Overall, the purchase was way more expensive than if I had gone to the store and bought it directly and brought it home.

If I could give Tattahome zero stars, I would. If you read reviews before your purchase you’re in luck as it will prevent you having to go down the road I went through, and you can give your business to a trusted retailer.
I ordered the 2nd of January and I’m writing this March 11th. 2.5 months later, they still hadn’t shipped my item after numerous attempts trying to get a confirmed shipping date. You get basic messages from Andrew, stating they are awaiting delivery of the item to their warehouse, never an apology, never accountability, never clarity. After 2.5 months I requested a refund through PayPal. It was an awful experience. Save your time and money.
I would never purchase from this company, recommend it to anyone and they should be ashamed.

Customer service was great and shipping was fast. The faucet I ordered was shipped with the hot input not fully assembled. I had to disassemble the KWC faucet and try to screw in the connecting hose that was not properly attached. I found out after installing the faucet, because it immediately shot water straight out of the fixture. The item I received was open box.
