I had a very prompt and extremely supportive contact with Leyla today. She was able to give me clear instructions and go above her duty to help me solve a frustrating issue.
Well done Swisscom.

I would put 0 star. The worst service kept my technical issues unresolved for months. And I had to keep paying with 0 service. A scam don’t buy any phones from them you get tied into their contracts even if you leave the country . I the worst service online I got cut off by impatient and condescending customer service. Also it’s not true that the contract is ended I was charged 1300 chf fine because I purchased an iPhone at the same time as the conclusion of the contract. After many calls a person managed to get me on my old contract so I avoided a large penalty. But then someone at Swisscom blocked my calls for outside of Switzerland and after 5 months CB of paying 89 CHF per month for no service, after 4 calls with technical service it has been unblocked. I am so much looking forward to ending the contract at the earliest date and not have anything to do with Swisscom ever again.

I have been a loyal customer of Swisscom for years and years. However I recently discovered that they practice in my opinion unethical marketing. They add on services at no cost to you and add in a disclaimer that after a certain period you will start paying for the service and need to cancel in order to avoid the costs. If you set up a direct debit and trust this service provider and are not checking your bills every month because why would you then you are done for! And they are saying that once you are charged you can call them up and complain and they will do something about it. They offered me a discount for two months but had been taking money off my account for this service that I never asked for nor wanted for over 10 months! This is no way to treat loyal customers.
Response to Swisscom's response
You shouldnt be adding on anything without express permission from the user. I dont want to be informed about options that you decide to add to my account without my permission. Just because I happen to have an email address doesnt mean you have the right to add options. This is a poor, poor excuse. It's like saying we will add on charges and if you dont say you dont want it, its your own fault. I did call more than once when your French speaking customer service person hung up on me. So no point in calling customer service. You need to change your practices. You are fully aware of the what you are doing. Even your response is clearly curated to not apologise in case people do have a case.

I don’t have good enough internet service for weeks now - we work from home and the internet is so bad. Not even Netflix loads in my smart tv. I have called 3-4 times and they say they will schedule someone to come and install fiber and I never get the call back to solve the issue. Cancelling my entire package with Swisscom as soon as my contract ends!!!

The unlimited business mobile subscription had unlimited data (both quantity and quality), now from 60Gb per month, the speed is throttled to 0.5Mbps, meaning nearly unusable. Will terminate the subscription.

I purchased a prepaid travel SIM for an upcoming trip to Switzerland.
After purchasing the SIM, upon logging into their website again, I was prompted to enter a number for 2-factor authentication in order to use my account. However, it WILL NOT accept a foreign phone number despite their website stating otherwise.
I spent an hour on the phone with multiple support agents who told me that I can't use a non-Swiss number for 2FA... And they do not offer a refund.
So if you are a foreign customer, do NOT purchase a prepaid SIM online as you will be locked out of your account and unable to access it.

There are no good telecommunication companies, but Swisscom is as good as it gets. After some problems, I made the mistake of leaving and going to Salt. When you go there you realize just how good Swisscom is. With them, you pay a big fee, but it's worth it as you have really good customer support, no hidden fees and you don't feel you are being scammed. You pay your bill and you get a really really good service. I don't think I will leave again.

The call-center has asked me many times to change the router when my router works perfectly fine, and the router that they insist on having me to install had only problems in the house of my older brother

Don’t do it. A waste of time and money.
I needed and e-sim, they charged me but never activated my number. I was on costumer service for a good 40 min and they would not refund me FOR THEIR LIFE.
They asked me for another Swiss number and when I got it and created a new account they asked me to go and show my ID card in person. I do not live there.
Won’t recommend anyone

My husband and I have been users of Swisscom since we moved here 30 years ago. Today we were so upset with the terrible treatment we received by some totally disinterested people in the Swisscom shop, that we decided life was too short to be loyal to a company that has zero interest in client relations. We switched to another provider.
We are leaving because 1) we asked if it would be possible to organize better monthly pricing than what we had at the moment. Answer: no. We are paying Sfr. 180 per month for 2 phones, not to mention internet and landline charges... - really? Its impossible to find a lower price for mobile phone use? Every other person I know does not pay this kind of price.
2) the general reaction was total apathy. No interest at all in helping or looking. Just reading from the computer screen and saying we need to call Swissom ourselves. Why is there a physical store if the people in it are unhelpful?
3) Outright refusal to understand that we were looking for a more attractive offer, simply repeating call Swisscom like parrots.
I would advise people looking for a plan to go to Sunrise or Salt. first, and compare offers.

Terrible company. They rip their customers off with exorbitant prices for their monthly bill. I was a customer for Swisscom for many years and when I cancelled the contract they suddenly charged me 220.- for a "cancellation fee" even though I had been a customer for well over two years and therefore way beyond my contractual period - therefore a cancelattion fee for an already fullfilled contract is a pure rip off. I contacted them several times about this and usually just got ignored. After months of chasing them, I finally got a response and they told me to stick it and they would not refund me the 220.- they had charged me illegally and without any reason. I would take them to court but I moved out of the country unfortunately. I tried to reason with them, they ignored me, and then just rudely toll me off when I actually managed to get a higher up to check the case. Absolutely terrible experience. Do not do business with them.

Highest prices in the country, but they provide the best quality every time.
+ they do not charge any extra fees for the services you don't ask for, like some of their competitors.
Switched from Salt.

Trying to buy a turist sim card was almost impossible!
First to buy the sim card, i had to login to my account but to login it required me to introduce a swiss number. Of course i didnt have one!
Second i ended up creating a new account with my girlfriend id and selected that i was buying to another person put my date of birth as requested and after paying i get a message saying i had to bring my girlfriends id with me.
Overcomplicated and infuriating.

11 years paying for their subscription. 11 years where I always overpayed.
11 years without asking anything in return ... until today.
Started further education and had to reduce working pensum to 60%. Even though I am over 30 I am still a student. When I asked if something could be done, for example get a discount, my needs were ignored. That's how they treat the costumers over there. A bunch of leeches, the disgusting kind.
On top of that quiting the contract has a 2 month period notice! As if one is not dissapointd enough.
Keep away from them, there are many other operators offering the same services for a fraction of their prices.
Sunrise or Salt for instances are looking very promissing!! Don't let yourself worry that you pay less and might not have the same support as "Swisscom"!
That's just a good marketing strategy of a well known brand name...
Ps: also keep away from their sister brands like wingo or migros.
