They broke a table and did not take responsibility. HORRIBLE PEOPLE. They say they can’t do anything because they can’t be for certain it was them.

Really disappointed with this companies service. They arrived 30 mins late, which wasn’t a huge issue but no communication.

My items were packed into the van fine. I gave them the keys to go to the property as I was following after we’d packed the car up.

Their boss calls me asking where we are as the removal men are finished - which I thought was quick. I explained we’re were 15 mins away. He calls again asking where we are as they need paying, we were pulling in at this point. I asked him to send over bank details. I explained I wasn’t sending money until I’d seen my stuff had been moved & got the keys back. They charged me 2 x the amount the quoted me - albeit it took longer which I explained it would during the booking but clearly this was ignored.

As I walk down to my property, my items including a lamp on its side & my tv were left in the street, next to the pub near by. Neither of the removal men were with the stuff - also clearly they weren’t finished.

Pieces of my furniture & items left outside the property. They had only moved my bed upstairs & nothing else - even though it was all clearly labelled which room it needed to go into.

They’d taken my sofa apart by unscrewing it - I didn’t know it came apart. I asked them if they could put it back together & they told me to call their boss. I called him & he tells me they’ve gone.. I said no they haven’t they in my living room! He then says he’ll charge me an hour (£85) for them to do this. I explained it doesn’t take an hour, he then asked me how long it would take?! How would I know?! He then calls the men to put the sofa back together which they did be grudgingly. (I would like to add here also that I ordered them coffees as everything was packed up as a good will gesture earlier in the day.)

I asked if they could carry 2 chest of drawers upstairs for me which they ignored. One eventually helped my friend move it upstairs.

The reason I booked them was they said they covered the carpets so carpets wouldn’t get dirty.

The cherry on the cake - They’ve traipsed back & forth on my cream carpet in dirty boots & left mud throughout the property.

I’ve also noticed a big black mark covering half the side of my sofa as well which wasn’t there prior to the move.

I messaged the boss to explain I was unhappy with the service & sent photos. The message has been read with no reply. Incredibly rude & unprofessional. You don’t badger people for money & then do a substandard job. At least have the decency to respond to a text.

Have used them for our last 3 moves, each larger than the previous one. Excellent price and efficient service. Their people are super friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

The move was more or less smooth (although they charge you for 3h even though they did 2.15h) but people are not professional, rude and even scary. There was an issue with the payment where I've shown proof of payment and they literally harassed me (calling me 5 times on a Sunday) addressing the issue with a non-professional tone forcing me to call my bank 6 times. Of course they needed to be paid but it doesn't justify being agressive. I got scared at some point. I've booked them through Superman With a Van (which acts like a marketplace).

For a fixed price, we were told 4 people and 2 vans would complete our move on the Monday morning (arriving at 7am, out by 11am), and 2 people would arrive on the Sunday evening to begin packing. 3 people arrived on Sunday and packed most of our flat. So far so good.

On the Monday 2 people showed up at 8.30am. By 10am I was assisting, and it was clear we wouldn't be out by 11am. When I protested to who I assumed was the boss, he would just say that the fixed price is good and that's that. He eventually came and helped with some of the move. They were on the road about 1.30pm, alot later than planned. What follows next is the most extraordinary event I've had with a company.

As well as being late and not the specified amount of people, they forgot to empty most of our kitchen, so I discovered that all our pots, pans, trays, cutlery etc. are still in the house, with the new owners due to arrive in 15 minutes. I message the boss this, and I get a 'sorry'. I mention money and how Im not happy. Within 5 minutes, I get a call from the guy who was coordinating the move (J, we'll call him), and he tells me that his boss has informed him that if I try and haggle money off, J's wages will be docked. J then tells me if his wages get docked, he will turn the van around and go home. So now I'm calling the boss asking what the hell is going on, and why my possessions are being used as leverage against me. I am then told that they will drive to the new house, but I must pay the full balance before the vans get unloaded (usually its pay on completion).

So to summarise: they were expensive, didn't deliver the manpower promised on the time that was agreed, they forgot to load a sizeable amount of our kitchen, and then used my possessions as leverage against any discounting.

Great service from Swift. We were really happy with everything, they were friendly, efficient and really helpful. Arrived on time, spoke to us the whole time about what they were doing and checking if it was ok with us. They were extremely careful with all our furniture, constantly checked our scared cat was not being disturbed and calmed us down on what could have been a stressful removal day for us! Would highly recommend and use again! Thank you.

Such a very dishonest company that has thieves as their workers and will steal your stuff and claim otherwise! Check how many names and websites they use! Stay away, I had a very bad experience with them. I informed them that I am missing some of my stuff after the move and they wasted few weeks claiming to be looking my stuff from their van and then warehouse. They are truly untrustworthy company with a Manager who did not want to take responsibility for the thieves that work for him. These are one of the websites and email they use:
