Do not buy a watch in the Swatch Joy range!

I was given a new Purple Joy watch as a gift. The item was ordered online and, when it arrived, the strap was far too large for my - normal sized! wrist and the watch therefore completely unwearable. I took it to a Swatch shop where a member of staff struggled to remove some links for me, but eventually managed. I left with the watch on my wrist but, by the time, I arrived home, the watch had gone. It was no longer big enough to slip over my hand, so either the clasp had given way or the links had fallen apart. Garbage. A complete waste of money. Disgusted with the quality now offered by Swatch.

Shady marketing practices

I received an e-mail with advertisement of their new product and an invitation to try it out online. I signed up for an account on their website only to be presented with a rejection: said product was still being "rolled out" and was not available to me.

This could have been a mistake, or it was a deliberate move to harvest new account signups. And there's no option to change the e-mail address, unsubscribe from their spam, or delete the account entirely.

This is disappointing. I don't think I'll ever buy a Swatch because of these shady practices.

Swatch Shop Bullring Birmingham

Myself and my Mum visited the Swatch shop in the Bullring Birmingham yesterday. I had 3 watches that needed new batteries. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They changed the batteries whilst I waited and also fixed a strap, and polished the faces on the watches. Absolutely Amazing Customer Service. Such a lovely bunch of people - I left with a huge smile on my face.

I recently took a few of my swatch…

I recently took a few of my swatch watches to the Paramus Nj store for battery replacement.
Gabbie and Amy were so helpful , changed batteries and even fixed the back on one that I had taped on. They were so welcoming and made my visit a pleasure. What a great service Swatch offers , lifetime battery replacement. A great watch and great customer service.

Huge Swatch Fan But The Costumer Service Is Just Bad

Swatch fan here but I got to say, the website is just bad! I have had two experiences with them and both weren’t great. The first time I asked a question about the stock of one of their destination watches. They responded in about 48 hours with a generic response. I asked them a follow up question and got the same response. Asked one more follow up question and got the same response. The second time I used their website was to get support for a swatch I bought in store. I was left with no response for about a week. When I got a response it was the most AI help page looking response I have ever seen. They also made me pay for shipping to get support on a watch I just bought because of a mechanical problem that was their fault. Not great. Only reason I am giving it three stars is because the watches themselves (besides the broken one I got) are really high quality and super fun and stylish!

OMG Swatch Watches Impossible to Know Size Of

OMG, the thing I never ever had/have problems with when ordering any OTHER watch. Band size, watch size. Swatch has these very small, short banded watches which are easy to order when you want an adult watch. Swarch does not mark these small wartches in any way you can know this!!!

WHAT is wrong with this stupid company? You can easily order a child's watch when you want to order an ADULT size watch. I still don't know how to avoid this and, frankly, done with Swatch. They are just plain awful.

Stupid watches -DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Stupid watches! You pay a fortune for the dumb things and then when you go to replace the batteries, they don’t work anymore so you might as well just throw them away and buy new ones but oh by the way, don’t buy another swatch watch!!!!!! Thanks for nothing! Oh, and another thing, there’s no information whatsoever on their website on how to change the battery. There’s something called Dr. Swatch and when you go to call that phone number it’s disconnected.

a Filipino Swatch fan here!!

I am a loyal Swatch user since I got my first Swatch watch when I started working in the Philippines. I remember it was the Classic Black & White Swatch cheapest model. When I worked in UAE, I have availed the Mystery Watch several times and the Swap old Swatch with new Swatch but I learned that the offer is no more available. I just bought a new Chrono Swatch today in Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi. Shout out to Miss Jovie Brillo and Miss Xenia for their professional and exemplary customer service. I thank them for their sincerity & utmost importance and attention to their customers like me!

Wasteful product. Bin and buy new is Swatch approach to repair

Never write reviews but making exception for swatch/Omega.
It’s a very wasteful product especially when you get told “watch is 3 years old so out of warranty, therefore throw into landfill and purchase new”.
That is the message I got from Swatch Perth. “Entry level watch” so got offered another at half price. No thanks!
Nice simple watch but unrepairable is unacceptable, therefore waste of money.
A shame, as one of largest watch brands.
Will avoid in future.

Horrible return policy. No respect for customer.

I bought a Moon swatch. Shipping was delayed for about 10 days despite selecting next day. Was in touch with customer service. Ultimately wanted to return the watch. Verified I was still in the window. I took the watch out to look at it, put it back in the original package and send it back unworn. Swatch denied my return saying the watch had been scratched. I have no idea where they decided that or how. It was the most ridiculous experience. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau.

I visited the Cardiff branch today and…

I visited the Cardiff branch today and the staff really need to improve their customer service. I was looking at the limited edition Swatch Omega, which only sells during snowfall in Switzerland. Fair enough they couldn’t or wouldn’t sell it but it still felt like I was causing a fuss and interrupting a conversation between colleagues. It was a complete waste of everyone’s time!

Swatch watches, so much more than just another quirky watch brand. Five ⭐️ stars to Liz and her team

Absolutely shocked to read the abundance of negative reviews about Swatch,(especially their stores).

Ever since walking down Market Street ,( Manchester) in the 1980’s I have been fascinated by this unique Swiss watch brand. Their store was a landmark site and shoppers imaginations were captivated by this small store which always oozed style, character and a magical feel.

Since purchasing that first,(slightly conservative ) classic style Swatch my family and I would go on through the years to purchase in excess of 30 different, vibrant and colourful Swatch Watches.

Whether an Olympics edition, limited edition Omega Swatch or a Valentines swatch each were loved and great buys.

We would just adore buying them on planes, at airports or in cities across the globe. The perfect gift to bring home.

However no where felt better than purchasing one in Manchester.

Sadly that store has long gone, but thankfully the spirit and ambiance of that store lives on at the wonderful Trafford Centre Store.

Recently we visited this store ,(for the first time) and we were treated wonderfully by the staff and they made us feel like VIP’s and although we were purchasing a watch costing £86 we were made to feel that we were customers purchasing a Rolex or Breitling Watch.it was truly an awesome and memorable experience.

The manageress Liz is exemplary at her job and an incredible ambassador for the Swatch name. I rang her before we visited to check whether the brand new ,Spirit of the Horse,(Chinese New Year special was in store) and when I asked to discuss it with a manager the store member who had answered had no hesitation putting me through to the excellent Liz.

Liz told us that she looked forward to meeting us and I believed her and she was everything and so much more than we expected.

She asked us to bring Swatches in that we had that needed new batteries and when we arrived she and her team kindly replaced them,(whilst we grabbed a drink nearby).

All were polite, professional, attentive, warm and friendly.

We love our new addition to our Swatch collection and can’t rate Liz and her team high enough.

A Swatch is so much more than a quirky watch brand, it is an experience and positive ‘edition’ to anybody’s life.

Well done Liz,(also a former member of the Market Street branch and that speaks volumes!!!). Well done Swatch for making style, satisfaction and service remain at top of your standards for more than 40+ years.

They IGNORE you

They IGNORE you. Bought a kid's watch and the buckle just broke after a month. It's now totally useless. Sent them several messages and they totally ignore you. Terrible service from what was once a reputable company.

Why is Swatch US Complete Trash?

This was my experience too. I ordered two watches, which arrived without shrink wrap and in subpar packaging. This was surprising until you realize how they approach returns. I tried them on in my house, wasn’t satisfied, and returned them within the 14 day return period.

A week later the box arrived back on my doorstep. There were no details, just a template rejection letter. I was confused. I called in and they said both watches were damaged. This was strange, since both were like new, and I’ve never had this kind of issue before. For example, I don’t buy AppleCare, since I’ve never scratched an iPhone.

Ask yourself - what are the odds that I bought two watches, damaged both of them, then returned them? When’s the last time that happened to you? That’s why I get scam energy from these people. Got that gut feeling when I talked to them as well.

They’ll respond with their polite corporate language here, but I still wonder, as one Redditor put it, “why is Swatch US complete trash”?

I’m reporting it to the Better Business Bureau, and wanted to warn you here so you don’t lose a few hundred bucks to these hucksters like I did. I thought it would be fun to have an analog watch, but I’ll be sticking to Apple from now on.

Swatch has the worst customer service no reply to emails no one answers the phone or call back. There website says satisfaction guarantee which is a joke returned a detective watch been 4 weeks since it was delivered back and not a word about my refund do not buy

Swatch repairs at Southampton (Tissot).
I sent off my father in laws Tissot watch in December, it came back just before Christmas, they said that unfortunately , the parts for the watch were now obsolete. However they had clearly done some repair work to it as it is now working again and keeps good time. There was no charge for the repair. This is the second time I have used the repair service in Southampton and both times they have been incredibly helpful. They have given the best customer service that I have had in years.
