Customer Service and key information on website for buying glasses is not great at all
The Spex4Less website was pretty easy to navigate and use, however when it came to applying a very high strength prescription for the lenses they don’t ever say on the website when ordering them that the frame is not applicable for such prescription, also they aren’t very clear if the Sunglasses are to be tinted, they only go on about UV protection and other specifications you can add to the lenses themselves.
So when you’ve gone ahead and purchased the Sunglasses, you’ll then get email after email to and from them on for example them asking if you meant to leave the lenses clear even though they are sunglasses even though there’s no mention of tint when you are ordering.
After this non stop dialogue through emails you’ll eventually get to getting a date on when they’ll be with you, however when you’re on the day of the delivery and you get a email saying “we are sorry to tell you that your lenses didn’t pass the quality control checks” this meant that the delivery date was pushed back which was very disappointing to me because I’d asked for an assured date of the Wednesday because I was going on holiday that Sunday, they said this was no problem at all in relation to the time frame, it did wind me up how they had passed on my order to someone who was currently in China at the time which further delayed my order.
So with above being said I then had another email shortly after then saying my Lenses also could not fit in the desired frame I wanted, this irritated me quite a lot because after all the non stop back and forth of emails they failed to tell me as of this point that my lenses were not applicable for the frames i had bought, so making a hard decision I decided to go with the frames that they had recommended for my lenses, to which they then were posted shortly after and I then received them not long after this.
A note to add the delivery service was lack of communication and took longer than it should have.

This company is excellent, I sent my sunglasses to have different coloured lenses fitted. Spoke to them on the telephone on the Monday morning, the advice I had was extremely helpful, posted them later on the same morning and I had them returned on the Thursday. That’s what I call a very quick service.
