I purchased an item on the Soundstore website I received confirmation of my purchase and an invoice. I was contacted days later to tell me they had made a mistake and mis-priced the item. 100% an error on their part. Not only did they not honour the price they advertised the item as, they also refused to offer me a goodwill voucher or discount considering the inconvenience of it all. Terrible customer service and clearly an incompetent tech team.

Soundstore Website is really good and easy to navigate, All went well with the order placement and the LG TV was delivered in good order, Soundstore customer service was quick to respond and very helpful.
The only negative was the delivery took longer than expected and An Post gave no indication of when they would deliver.

Highly recommend Soundstore, great website that is very easy to navigate, always carry stock so no waiting for an item to be ordered in.

The Fridge door was extremely hard to reverse, the corresponding drilled holes on the opposite underside did not match up with the brackets provided, and we were told we would be charged €30 for somebody to come out to look at it. That is not satisfactory to me

I originally bought my downstairs Samsung TV from Soundstore Blackpool around 20 years ago, and it has served me exceptionally well for all that time. As that TV is now finally reaching the end of its life, I chose to return to the same store because of the positive experience I had there in the past. I’m very glad I did.

From the moment I first contacted the store, Lakisha was outstanding. She was friendly, professional, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. I explained that I was looking to replace my downstairs Samsung TV, which I had originally bought from Soundstore Blackpool around 20 years ago, with an updated 55-inch flat-screen TV. Lakisha openly discussed the available options with me and professionally presented both the Samsung and LG 55-inch Smart TV offers, clearly explaining the features and price promotions available on each model. Her guidance was balanced, informative, and never pushy, which made the decision-making process much easier.

One thing that really stood out was her honest and professional advice. I already have an LG TV upstairs, while my Samsung TV downstairs is now reaching the end of its life after around 20 years of use. I was genuinely undecided between buying another Samsung or moving fully to LG for the household. Lakisha listened carefully to what I was looking for, explained the differences in a clear and friendly way, and helped me make an informed decision without any pressure. Thanks to her advice, I felt confident upgrading my downstairs TV and standardising my home entertainment equipment to LG, which is why I purchased the LG 55-inch Smart TV.

I should also mention that I am normally a very careful buyer. A purchase like this would usually take me a week, several weeks, or even a month to think over before making a final decision. However, because of my previous positive experience with Soundstore and the excellent guidance and reassurance provided by Lakisha, I felt completely comfortable proceeding much sooner. In fact, I was happy to make the decision and complete the purchase within less than 48 hours, which says a great deal about the confidence she inspired.

What impressed me most was that she went above and beyond rather than simply processing a sale. When I mentioned my concerns about reusing my existing wall bracket and the mounting bolts from my old TV, she took the time to check compatible brackets for the new TV and set suitable options aside for me. That level of attention and customer care made me feel valued and gave me confidence that I was making the right purchase.

Her communication was excellent, she was knowledgeable about the products, and she made the whole experience easy and stress-free. Because of her help, I chose the TV with confidence and completed the purchase through Click & Collect.

Excellent customer service is becoming rare, and Lakisha is a perfect example of how it should be done. She was courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping me rather than just making a sale.

I want her manager to know that she provided one of the best retail experiences I have had in a long time. She deserves recognition for her professionalism, product knowledge, and outstanding customer service.

Returning to Soundstore Blackpool after 20 years and receiving such excellent service has reminded me why I trusted the store in the first place, and why Soundstore Blackpool, Cork still has a valued place in the community and in my household even 20 years later.
