Booking process simple and straight…
Booking process simple and straight forward, always wary of start/finish dates to ensure they align with available flights from our preferred airports. These dates could always initially be made clearer. Villa was available from other companies so confirmation from owners took a couple of days to come through. Small deposit only required to secure booking. Advised booking price included local tourist tax, not always the same with other agents who throw this and other costs in when it is too late to cancel.

Shortly after finalising and paying for…
Shortly after finalising and paying for our reservation, we noticed that an identical property in the same development became available at a considerably lower price. Discovering this so soon after committing to our booking has understandably left us feeling frustrated and disheartened.
We fully appreciate that prices may fluctuate according to availability and demand. However, seeing such a significant difference immediately after making our reservation has left us with the impression that we may have been unfairly disadvantaged.
In the hope of finding a reasonable solution, we contacted your live support team to enquire whether it would be possible either to transfer our reservation to the lower-priced property or to receive additional nights in recognition of the price difference. Unfortunately, our request was declined without any alternative being offered.
As loyal customers who value fairness and good customer service, we had hoped for a more understanding and flexible approach. While we recognise that pricing policies are subject to terms and conditions, exceptional situations such as this can have a considerable impact on customer satisfaction.
We would therefore be grateful if you could reconsider our case and review whether any goodwill gesture or alternative arrangement might be possible.
We look forward to hearing from you and hope that a mutually satisfactory resolution can still be reached.

No good complain no one comes out
Lovely villa. But when I complain about pool not been right as stained swimwear and floats was told someone would come out and avoid using pool this is only the second day heard nothing back. The phoned about air conditioner leaking water was told someone would come out no one came. Towels was a joke had one each all week ended up washing them.

First time booking with Solmar, a good experience so far
The website is user friendly, easy to choose the regions you wish to browse and good selections of photographs. Only thing I couldn't find was satellite images of the properties only a map, this would be useful.
I telephoned to make the initial booking and your colleague, Angela, who managed the booking was friendly, efficient and answered the questions I had. A further question she referred to the owner and I had an email answer the next day. It was very easy and very nice to speak to a person rather than do it all on line as with some other villa companies.

Very good price and, once I got through, a good clarification from the customer service team. Decent comms and paperwork received quickly.
