Much better than the competition!
I originally bought a macro light from Adaptalux and the thing fell apart almost immediately. It was a pile of junk and a great disappointment. They never responded to my review or feedback.
With that said, I was reluctant to try another light, but I'd had good experiences with SmallRig previously. So, when I saw SmallRig's version, I decided to give it a try.
Not only was it more reasonably priced than Adaptalux, the build quality was 100 times better. It's solid, easy to use, and the battery life puts Adaptalux to shame. The color changing option is also a nice feature although, to be honest, I don't utilize it often.
Ordering was easy, delivery was prompt. All in all, a very good experience.

Cage itself is well engineered and fits well. It's in line with other SmallRig cages. No complaints.

I love this tripod
My tripod was delivered on time and there was no assembly required. I really love it because it's so easy to set up and take down. It's pretty heavy, heavier than my old tripod but other than that I love it!

Smallrig products are consistently well…
Smallrig products are consistently well built and dependable. I did have an issue when my recent purchase of the "ImageGrip" side handle arrived with a defective rotation lock. I returned it and was immediately shipped a replacement.
I definitely think the lock release button on this item (#5242) should be redesigned to be easier on the user's thumb. Also, having it push forward to release (instead of squeezing toward the palm) would be a welcome change.
