Horrible Communication and Customer Service
This company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with in regards to communication, updates, and customer service.
Requests for information are ignored or the same reply is repeated over and over again. After waiting for months for more details I find a response here from the company with many unknown details outlining the current situation.
The clearly need to revisit their customer service practices. I will never order from them again and can't even get a response on refunds though they state on their website that emails will be responded to within 24 hours.

I took to writing here after zero updates and the many and I mean many complaints over in the kickstarter website’s comments page. If you visit you’ll see tons and tons of people not receiving products or still waiting to get any news as to what the status of their product they ordered over a year ago is at. The current speculation is that you’re using the money to fulfil your older kickstarters.

Not much correspondence or communication when it comes to why the delays and why the chairs are breaking on other users. Then there is the product clearly being sold for use outside but the company says it will only include indoor feet (they said the soft indoor feet are fine for both uses) but they made outdoor feet so what gives

I would give this “zero” stats if possible. Purchased the “Carbon X foldable seat” on kickstarter. No tracking information and no communication from them and lastly never received the seat. A bunch of us never received our product yet they are now selling the product that we funded.

Always use your credit card so you can apply for a refund when product does not turn up. Keep all correspondence as evidence for refund.
Campster II - Disappointed After Nearly Two Years of Silence
I received a marketing email today celebrating the company’s 10-year journey, its Kickstarter origins, and how it “perfected this in the wild.”
Unfortunately, my experience has been anything but perfected.
Despite backing this project nearly two years ago, I still haven’t received the product. Multiple emails were being met with vague promises and token replies and are now going unanswered despite my remaining civil. Even when I offered to cover costs for alternative delivery options, I was met with silence.
It’s frustrating to see stock being sold through the store while original backers remain unfulfilled (just check out the comments on the kickstarter page). If the company truly stands by its mission, it should prioritise transparency and honour its commitments to early supporters—especially those who helped bring the product to life.

I ordered in early July after being told by the company that the item would arrive within July. That was the only reason I placed the order. However, it was never shipped during that month.
On August 9th, I was given a tracking number, but it only shows “label created” — the carrier never received the package. I contacted the company three times, but every time I only received a copy-and-paste style response along with the same tracking number. There was absolutely no sense of apology or responsibility for the delay, only meaningless excuses.
Now it is already September and I still have not received anything. This company broke their promise, wasted my time and money, and their behavior feels like fraud. I trusted them because of their Trustpilot reviews, but that was clearly a mistake.
Only people who can wait more than a year to receive their order should even consider buying from this company. For everyone else: avoid them — they do not deliver as promised.
The Sitpack Zen experience review
The Sitpack Zen is impressively lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry anywhere. Unfortunately, the fabric seat feels unstable and uncomfortable, and my attempts to contact customer support went unanswered. Good idea, but poor execution and service.

Every few months they send vague promises about shipping soon, but nothing ever happens. They’re selling new chairs while hundreds of original orders remain unfulfilled. How is that even legal?
Bait and switch on fleece warmers
I pledged for two chairs, matching quilted seat and fleece covers (among other things) during their kickstarter for Campster 2 in 2023. The pledge manager was confirmed two years ago, in august 2023, and the chairs were delivered this last february 2025. No seat covers (2x fleece and 2x quilted) were delivered together with the chairs. After bringing this up they apologized and said no fleece covers were available and that they would replace and ship out quilted seat covers instead. I declined the replacement and repeatedly asked for an ETA for their new batch of fleece covers and was eventually told they would be ready by NEXT winter season... Well, it's now approaching quickly, but no new ETA is provided after asking several times since then. No quilted covers are delivered either, 6 months after delivery of the chairs, and Sitpack is now again trying to have me accept additional quilted seat covers instead of delivering fleece covers or refunding the unfulfilled amount.
I'm giving this company a 1 star until this matter is resolved, as their customer support has been sub par in every matter brought up these last years (30+ emails back and forth), despite that the chairs have held up nicely these last few summer months.

Run fast and far away from this company. 1000s of people haven't received the product they order on Kickstarter. It's been 3 years of back and forth on email. Alot of the people who have received their chairs and mono pod chair have had problems with legs breaking and feet breaking.

I have paid for my pledge. I recently looked on Pledgebox and found I am “uninvited “for the survey. I believe my credit card did not go through as the expiration date changed but there is no where to update the card so I am out $79 . Thanks for ripping me off!

I am afraid I have been scammed
I ordered two Campster 2 chairs along with multiple accessories from Sitpack through Kickstarter in June 2023. Unfortunately, it looks like this will now be the third summer in a row without the camping chairs I paid for.
I have always supported small businesses and have funded several Kickstarter campaigns in the past, but I have never experienced such poor customer treatment. All I've asked for is a transparent update about when my items will actually ship. I understand that delays happen—if the company had communicated clearly about specific reasons for further delays, that would have been completely acceptable.
Instead, Sitpack repeatedly provides misleading information, promising that shipping will occur "very soon," yet nothing happens. It feels as though the company is intentionally dishonest, making empty promises rather than being upfront about their situation.
At this point, investing your money with Sitpack feels riskier than gambling in Vegas. I strongly caution potential backers to reconsider supporting this company unless they're willing to risk their money and endure ongoing frustration.

I guess after multiple emails over a period of months trying to get this resolved directly with the supplier its time for me to add my 2 cents to all the other warnings about this "company" and product...
$1.7 million pledged on Kickstarter and I wonder if anyone has received their products. I have responded to every survey, submitted all my information and paid all the due fees but still find myself empty handed with no end in sight.
The icing on this poo cake is that their website claims their Campster 2 products are "READY TO SHIP. Delivery 1-2 working days". This claim is either a complete lie or not applicable to the customers who have been waiting nearly 2 years for their product.
After direct contact with their service team over a period of 6+ months, I have been promised multiple times that my products will be shipped "shortly" followed by weeks or months of radio silence.
I cannot emphasize this enough... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS "COMPANY". If this is the level of customer service applicable from the outset imagine if your product arrives faulty or breaks after minimal usage. You are simply NEVER going to get a satisfactory resolution.
The cherry on top... They keep sending me emails about how great their products are (salt in the wound) and even sent the link asking me to write this review.

Love the product ideas and design, but their customer support is the worst. Have been waiting for months to get orders fulfilled. Finally got my order afther threatening to cancel and then they "forgot" to add the Octo Max. It's now been weeks of sending emails and the only repsonse is that they are sorry and will send it. but it never happens. phone goes straight to music and then gets disconnect. it cannot be more frustrating. Will never buy there again. Cancelled my order now waiting for a refund....
I think that this is a scam
I've been waiting two years for my product to be delivered. According to the company it's because of the company they outsourced to. Not my problem: still have not received the products I've purchased, even though they are selling new versions of the product I've purchased. The company is very poor on communications. I think that this may be a scam.

Absolutely a company whose scams people on Kickstarter by not delivering products and then likely uses the money to make the products and sells them on here. They say they are "looking into where your stuff is" and never do anything to correct it. Buying stuff from them is basically screwing over the people that supported them first.

Got my first Sitpack I in the kickstarter campaign. Beautiful and inovative design. Personally i could not find the right comfort (very subjective) and therefore not used it. Few weeks ago i took it on a trip, it broke. Long after warranty, Sitpack said they would replaced it straight away. I asked if i could try the Sitpack II, cheaper for them and myabe better for me. Just got it, fantastic comfort and excellent service!

Pre-ordered a campster 2 on kickstarter over a year ago, myself along with many other people still haven’t recieved anything and jonas the founder is not honouring what we pledged by delivering what was promised. Reached out many times only to be given excuses, still nothing has been sent. Not a good company.
