⭐ MY EXPERIENCE WITH SIMPLY HAIR — PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING

I’m genuinely devastated by my experience with Simply Hair.

Before having these extensions fitted, my own hair was in excellent condition. It was thick, healthy and strong. I only wanted extensions because my hair grows extremely slowly and I wanted to add length.

Unfortunately, the quality of the extensions I received was not what I expected. I discovered that the hair was bonded in both directions and contained synthetic hair, which I was extremely concerned about.

The extensions became severely matted on an almost daily basis, placing a huge amount of stress and tension on my natural hair. Despite trying to manage them, my hair has now been left in an awful condition.

I have experienced significant hair loss, multiple bald patches and my hair is now around half the thickness it was before. I have been told this is consistent with traction alopecia, and the emotional impact has been awful. I honestly just want to cry every time I look in the mirror.

I had the extensions in for less than 8 weeks, and during that time I repeatedly tried to contact Simply Hair along with my hair dresser about the problems I was experiencing. After multiple emails and around a month of trying to get a response, I was eventually told:

“Sorry you've taken too long to contact us.”

The goodwill offered? A hair mask.

After the condition my natural hair has been left in, I find that response incredibly upsetting and completely inadequate.

I didn’t purchase extensions expecting them to leave my natural hair damaged, severely thinned and to have tracional alopecia. I trusted the company and expected a quality product that was suitable for use as hair extensions.

I’m sharing my experience because I genuinely wish I had known more before purchasing.

PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING.

For me, the damage to my own hair has been devastating.

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Ordered next day delivery Nanos. Received promptly but they were frazzled and all split.

I sent customer care photos which clearly showed this. They said there was minor damage but this is normal!

To return and wait again is so much inconvenience.

I do not recommend this company. Quality is extremely poor. Customer
Service even worse.

Supposed to be brand new!

Some hairs were so badly damaged.

Luckily wefts I ordered from another company and these arrived in perfect soft condition.

Simply hair was frazzled!

I want to add that I received a second email that was much better, offering a free next day delivery offer of a new set of nanos and return slip.

I am now changing the review from 1 star to four stars as I feel some accountability and empathy on my experience has been given.

Should I have got a good response I would not have done original review.

But better late than never.

Thanks for the last few emails which were helpful. Mistakes can be made but it's how customer service helps is the biggest factor.

The hair extensions I received from Simply Hair SHED EVERYWHERE. I have worn extensions for over 25 years and I know how to care for them. The shedding was out of control - I found hair on absolutely every surface of my house, and even in meals that I would prepare. The shedding was so excessive it clogged my vaccum and required that it be disassembled and serviced. And now Simply Hair has doubled the price of their extensions. They are the worst extensions I've ever worn, and I advise anyone considering this company to save your money. This product

I have used simply hair for over 6 years
I’m not happy they came thinner and some strands started to frizz after 2 mths
I contacted customer service to be told it’s the placement (never) my extension lady is amazing at her placement
Offering my a discount in the next order was shocking just one pack of bee hair should of been offered as I’ve been a loyal customer for many years
Disappointed don’t buy the hair

Delivery is always really fast and reliable. Love the products especially your foil just great patterns. Customer service is on point. They get back to you very quickly and always try there best to get your inquiry sorted.

Obsessed with my new personalised apron !! So easy to clean and I’ve been having a subscription with my foils for a while now and they never forget!

I have been having nano tip extensions for years, decided to try simply hair ones, quality of the hair is okay and the colour match is so great for my hair, but they are the most uncomfortable awful hair extensions I’ve ever had , I can’t even describe how sharp and painful they are, I want to rip them out they are that bad. I’ve never wasted so much money, I had them removed and put back in with the advise of simply hair and they are still terrible and so uncomfortable. I’m so disappointed and upset, I’ve never left a bad review anywhere but I feel I had to leave this to share how bad my experience was

Now 10 days since I applied for a refund from this company .It is supposed to take 48 hours and I can get in touch except for an AI response

Perfect! Love it! Only negative is the plastic tops quite a few of them have slipped out but doesn’t really matter as can be redone! I do love them though so happy to of found this place! And super fast delivery!!

From start to finish was brilliant. Found what I needed, checkout was simple and delivery really quick.
The brush itself is fantastic. I have not snagged once on my extensions 🙃

Received shampoo and conditioner for extensions in good time. Products are excellent and have made a huge difference to longevity of my extensions.
