Experience at Guisborough with Laurence
I contacted the garage as I was looking for a new car but wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted. I spoke with Laurence, explained my budget and requirements, and he came back with a range of suitable options.
He quickly arranged a time for me to visit the garage so I could look around and consider everything in person. Laurence was incredibly helpful throughout he took the time to go through all the options with me and explained everything clearly, which I really appreciated as I don’t have much knowledge about cars.
Even on the day of collection, he paid attention to all the little details making sure the car was fully set up and ready for me, and that every question I had was answered. It really made the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free.
Out of all my experiences with car shopping, this has been the best by far. I felt listened to, supported, and never rushed. I honestly haven’t experienced service like it before.
I’m genuinely very grateful for the excellent service.

Renault Captur…
We bought a second hand Renault Captur from the Stockton site and dealt with Reece Wood. The deal was easy and relaxed good price for trade in and the service was absolutely 1st class.
Reece has only been there for a few weeks and if our deal is anything to go by he’ll have a long and successful career, he was polite respectful and helpful everything you could ask for and makes a great coffee.

Great customer service, patience and help from Kim.
My partner and I were looking for help purchasing a car and are not the most clued up people re cars.
My partners son had used Simon Bailes for 2 cars and recommended this branch.
Kim is a friendly and knowledgeable car person who quicky established our needs and was very helpful both on buying a car, explaining the options and keeping us updated re paperwork etc.

For reasons out of my control, I bought the car while out of the U.K. and in a different time zone(!). Stuart was really accommodating and happy to communicate solely via email until my return. The process was straightforward and he kept me well-informed throughout.

I bought a Peugeot 2008 from them at the beginning of august for near on £20,000 pounds I found the car did not have its pre check done properly as I encountered problems near on straight away I emailed the sales person who sold me the car ( Darren Grainger ) he did not reply to any of my emails so I sent emails to the sales manager Steve same again no reply so I rang on numerous occasions and was told he would ring back No he did not I kept trying and eventually I got through to him I was told I could take my car to any Peugeot garage as it was under manufacture warranty which I already knew this but that want the point it was the annoying point of that I would be without a car whilst the work was been carried out and that they should have checked the car over properly and also one of the problems was the car had lots of chips what were not dealt with properly just dabbed up with black touch up paint yet he was trying to sell me cover for hundreds of pounds before I bought the car to cover me should this ever happen well it already had an I did not get to see the chips because on the day of buying the car it was raining lesson learnt
Also On the day I bought the car there printer was down so I was told I would be sent the paper work in the post once up and running I did not get my paper work until the beginning of October two months after I bought the car and that took a lot of hassle to get that sorted
I would not recommend Simon bailes north Allerton because the after sales service was Very Poor I except things go wrong but to be ignored that is another thing if I lived locally I would have been straight round and got things sorted sooner

The team at Simon Bailes are fantastic, poles apart from the usual bigger car selling companies who can be pushy. Sarah & Steve were lovely, giving me plenty of time to view the car and explaining everything thoroughly, always available to answer any questions I had and even had the car delivered to my work to save me a trip back to Northallerton.

A chance NOT to be missed.....
My son and I called into the Northallerton branch recently to look for a car. He was after a 308 GT. He found one there that was exactly what he was looking for at a great price. After a drive the deal was done with a full care package and service provided. The salesperson involved was Sarah Hutchinson who was most helpful, knowledgable and explained everything all of the way through. While he was signing paperwork, impressed by the assitance given by Sarah, I had a look around and found a 3008 hybrid SUV which prompted further investigation. To cut a long story short, Sarah checked my current car, offered me an attractive trade in price and arranged a service along with protection deals at a price I could not resist. As with the 308, the assitance that was provided by Sarah (and the coffee from Claire!) was superb and we are now both very happy chaps with excellent cars at great prices. Thanks very much to the entire team. I commend the establishment to all, call in and don't be surprised if you leave in a great car with a big smile on your face!!
