We recently had our shutters installed, after what seemed like a long wait, they arrived, we are super happy with them, so much so we have ask for them to now do our kitchen window.
The Guy installing them was great very tidy hoovered up after and even took his boots off !!
highly recommend, and hopefully have the same fitter next time

We offer different products with different lead times and the product you selected carries a standard lead time of 13–16 weeks, with an express option of 8–11 weeks available should you choose to pay an additional fee.
All lead times begin from the date the order confirmation document is signed, as this is when we are able to process the order with the factory. On this occasion, the confirmation document was signed on 3rd November 2025. For transparency, these lead times are outlined in the information pack which is left with you on the day of the quotation as well as being confirmed on your quotation and your order confirmation document.
We would like to apologise that an update email was not sent on this occasion, and we understand how this may have caused frustration. We are currently looking at why this has happened as we are always looking at ways to improve.

Love my new cafe style shutters!
Both the sales guy and the fitter were great and made it an easy process. The shutters look gorgeous and price was better than all the other quotes I received for real wood, individually opening shutters. I have and would recommend Dhutterly fabulous to anyone. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the 14 week wait for the shutters!

Excessive Wait Time!!
Although the product, sales process & fitting have been satisfactory, the time you have to wait for the product is too long. Having waited 16 weeks for my shutters, it was then found one had been incorrectly made by the factory! Despite assurances that I would get the new shutter is a shorter time I have again waited 16 weeks.... I think a wait of 6 months for shutters is unacceptable and so is £80 compensation!

We aim to provide a seamless experience, but in this instance, a manufacturing error at the factory stage necessitated some replacement parts. Our standard lead time for replacement components is typically 8 -11 weeks, however, due to the replacement falling right at the end of last year, we were met with a 12 week arrival time. This was further compounded by the post-Christmas delivery surge, which unfortunately pushed the total timeline to just over 13 weeks.
Regarding the goodwill gesture amount given, please know that we calculate these amounts based on the specific nature of the issue and the individual shutter affected. We genuinely felt this was a fair reflection of the inconvenience caused by the manufacturer's error, though we understand your disappointment given the total time elapsed.
We truly appreciate your patience while we worked to get this right. Your feedback regarding the communication and wait times is invaluable, and we will be reviewing this with our manufacturing partners to ensure we can provide more accurate timelines in the future.

From start to finish the whole operation was carried out withno fuss and was very professional. Tom the installer was excellent he did a first class job as can be seen by the 1st class installation. The shutters are very well made and we're exactly what we wanted.

I am extremely pleased with my new shutters which were fitted recently. Excellent quality and a seamless process from start to finish with all members of staff that I encountered either in person or on the phone being professional and friendly. It did seem a long 16 weeks waiting for them to be shipped but the final result was very much worth the wait. I highly recommend this company!

An impressive experience.
I always hesitate to give five stars in a review because in TQM terms it implies perfection and that is rarely achieved. I'm making an exception for ShuttersUp because it is difficult to see where its processes and fulfilment could be improved, at least for those aspects that are under its control. Its range of shutters is well presented on its website and the response to a request for a visit was rapid. At that visit the various options were explained and demonstrated, with our personal quirks relative to a particularly large window amply taken into account. The pricing was competitive, the fitting was on-time and was carefully carried out. The end result is of high quality and just what we wanted.
My only concern, which could not affect the star rating, was a wider one related to the supply chain. It is just sad that we do not appear to have the ability to build shutters of this quality for a competitive price in the UK. The fact that they therefore have to be sourced and shipped all the way from China, with the inevitable carbon cost involved, is, to say the least, unfortunate.

I have just had my two bay windows fitted for shutters by their fitter Tim Dainty and I am absolutely delighted with them! Tim was efficient, tidy, conscientious and very accommodating.

Avoid, delay after delay and still not received.
We have still not received our shutters. We paid nearly £300 extra to reduce the lead in time to 4-6 weeks, because we are having a baby very soon. We have been given delay after delay and have now been 'provisionally' booked in for a date 2 and a half months later. Our last two 'provisional' dates have been delayed and re-arranged so I have absolutely no faith that they will even arrive by then. We have been offered a refund of the extra we paid but our concern around the timings have not been addressed and we are now in a really awkward position.
I would avoid.
