Our designer was Helen. I do feel like she listened well in the initial phone call about what I wanted. She also, communicated in a timely manner throughout the process. We got a good design on the first rendering and it only took a few tweaks to get to the finished design. Overall I feel like this company is a good value to give you nice renderings and a general plan (including plants) for your designed space, especially for the cost. I do think there are some areas that could be improved, for example no information could be provided about the furniture or even the masonry block or decorative rock used in the designs.

Highly disappointed would not recommend this company to anybody. The advertise that you will get a shopping list, expert consultation, and contractor quotes in your area and under 15 days, which none of it is true. I did schedule my consultation within the 15 days, but as for an expert, I would highly disagree. She barely spoke English and I couldn’t understand what she was saying and I feel my design ideas were lost in translation. I provided pictures, videos, accurate measurements of my yard and Inspirational photos to work off of. The design was completely disconnected and the only thing they really did was a design with new plants which was not my main goal. The main features that I wanted were not addressed which I clearly stated in the notes. I feel they were just trying to upsell their plant services which I would not be using anyways I requested a refund within 30 days and if you dig deep enough, You will find their policy where they only offer partial refunds. After spending $500 with upgrades, they only offered me a 20% refund. I normally don’t write reviews, but the service was so bad and I felt scammed and feel compelled to warn others seeking their services.

We would not hesitate to recommend Shrub Hub. The cost is minimal for the professional service you get. Our designer Sean Logan was great to work with. After a short phone call with us and understanding what we liked he designed a magical and beautiful outdoor paradise for us. His response time to any questions we had was impeccable and very professional. If using Shrub Hub I'd recommend Sean Logan.

What an amazing job Helen did with a landscape plan for my backyard. She listened and consulted with an initial call, to a beautiful rendering of plan including all the plants that matched my vision to the tee.

Honestly,even though I was on edge looking at some of the reviews online, but my experience wasn't bad at all. Helen was our designer and she explained the process well before we got started. She designed our backyard and the front yard, which looks awesome to anyone I show.
I have recommended them to some of my friends already and would continue to do so in the future.

I like shrubhub service, they understand what I want and work with me accordingly.

This company charged me. Did not provide a service. Tried to sell me more services. I said no. They said someone would call me for a refund. They never called. They are not answering emails nor do they have a customer service number. I feel scammed. How are they in business?

Would give zero stars if possible!!! 30 day refund policy is a complete joke. The designer strings you along until you are outside any refund. Very long delay between revisions. Their designer even told me not to worry we had plenty of time and if I wasn’t happy we can get a refund. Terrible do not use. Lots of upsell and terrible company.

In December 2023, we paid $750 to shrub hub to design the landscape of our new home. We had a one hour phone call with our consultant who immediately began to upsell us on every service they had such as irrigation and lighting. When we resisted, we were told that our lot was large and we had to pay extra anyhow. We did pay an extra $300 and as instructed sent pictures, blueprints, surveys, and they each picture. 18 days later, the first draft didn't even have the trees correctly marked and so the landscaping was completely off. We contacted Shub Hub and was told to put her comments in the chat for the Consultant. The consultant assured us everything would be OK and he would redo the work to our satisfaction. We sent more pictures and I labeled each picture and each tree 14 days later we received a plan that was no better than the first completely wrong and unusable. We are now more than $1000 in payments and don't even have a single draft that we can use to make matters worse we pay for 30 days unlimited changes and that time was used up waiting for the consultant to send us a version we could actually evaluate, my recommendation is to never use shrub hub for any real project. We called our credit card company, and we were told no refund was possible. Buyer Beware!!

Garbage experience. None of the plans matched anything remotely close to what I asked for. Total waste of money IMO. I gave them photos and strict requests “no pavers or patio features, i just want flowers and plants!” - and i got a full walkway and patio plan. Awful customer service and no refund. I hate this company with passion.

We live in eastern NY state and asked transition area to our surrounding Forrest with with no grass area or hard scape. The design came back including all the things that did not want plus it looked like a residential planting. Rear property line was shown as side yard, whish was totally incorrect. Secondly we asked for all plantings native to be our area. He recommend a of $525ea gum tree which is native to Colorado. What a waste of money and time. I would not recommend ShrubHub and I will be asking for a refund.

I'd give Zero stars if that were possible. I paid for the design and extra unlimited consult. I did everything I was supposed to do promptly. After my phone consultation they never contacted me with a design. I asked for a full refund and they only refunded part of it. Been fighting with them for months. In a credit card dispute they lied stating "they user" (me) didn't keep scheduled appointments. They just totally made that up!!!

The plants they recommended were not the correct height, light requirements, or even appearance as those on the design. The design looks great, but if I were to install it, it would all be dead within a year in our zone. The second re-design they did was based mostly on deciduous plants that die back in the winter, so our landscaping would have looked horrible for half the year. The designers do not understand plants at all. I have requested a refund, per their "30 day money back guarantee" five times and they won't refund it. It was a huge waste of time for us.

Big Scammers !! Be aware !! I purchased their package for designing my backyard and paid aprox $300. Whenever I tried to schedule the appointment the calendar on their website never works. I then had a family emergency and I contacted the customer support that I am now not in the condition to start my project and want to get a refund just after a month and upon that I was told that "do not worry !! We can offer you one free something service and you can get consultation anytime" In Oct 2023 after almost trying to schedule the appointment on their website the calendar again didn't work , So i contacted the customer support and said I want to schedule the appointment again as now I am done with my family issues and also with the remodeling work, Now here is the twist Customer support told me that your payment is only valid for year and now you will have to pay extra $100 to make it work. I was shocked and surprised as I they never reveal this anytime during the chat about the validity of this.
How can I trust a company like this which never tells us when we ask for refund and now they are asking more money for the same services. If they would have told us when I ask for refund I would have cancel that package. I am also reporting this to BBB and Google reviews.
Stay away from them as they seems to be running scams.

This is scam company! They did nothing! They kept my money! DO NOT USE

I found this app right after I signed up for Shrubhub and agree with previous comments. The 3D diagram is accurate to the dimensions I gave them but did not follow my description at all. The “30 day free consultation” really means it’s a window to upsell you other services. Asking questions about shrubs, wanting a revision are all added charges. Going to my local nursery should have been my first and only action needed.

This experience has been thoroughly disappointing. After waiting for two weeks, I received an unusable design. It was so bad that even my 8 -year-old son was mocking it. He's an avid Minecraft player who likes building complex homes with elaborate structures and bridges. The design I received looked like a 5-year-old child created it. The instructions, photo inspiration, and site drawings that I provided were entirely ignored. My house and lot looked like a wedge when the rectangular dimensions for the work area were clearly defined in my provided drawings.

On top of the half-baked and unusable design, you will receive poor customer service with inadequate and short responses. I received no timeline-specific updates and no clear response. When I complained about my design and asked for a new designer, no information was provided besides a brief statement saying they would find another designer. After that, nothing. The design was quickly removed from their site, or I would have downloaded and posted it with my review. After receiving no clear update on the next steps, I requested a refund within the 30-day period with the option for them to produce a new design by a specific date. No updates. No design. No concern. I patiently tried to work with them, but there is only so much frustration a customer should be expected to face.

When I asked to proceed with the refund I requested, as I still had no design, they claimed that the 30-day period had expired, which is false. These people are disingenuous and intentionally try to wait out the 30-day refund period. They refused to issue a refund even when presented with proof that I had already requested the refund. Their strategy of waiting out and ignoring frustrated customers until they give up simply won't work.

This business needs to be investigated for questionable and deceptive business practices. I will post this review everywhere possible and contact appropriate agencies.

Don't waste your money!! It took forever to get any plan and they ignored all my notes and requests so got nothing I wanted and absolutely no details. Wanted a living green wall but was not given the type of species or type of herb, just a drawing of green plants nothing listed.

I paid $377Can for landscape design. The measuring and photo taking they required as prep was useful. When the phone consult happened, I was informed that the land between my property line and paved road increased the size of my property so the cost went up to $1800 - $2000. This land has city pipes in it, so I mow the weeds but cannot plant there. I refused to pay and am out $377.

The designers are terrible and didn't understand a thing i communicated. The designed were cookie cutter and looked bland, absolutely nothing like the inspiration pics i had put in. Don't be fooled by the pics in the website. Also the pricing is very deceptive.

Will not recommend this service!!!
