Ian and Ollie came to do my scarification today. Ian immediately discovered that my lawn has an infestation of chafer grubs.
He seemed very knowledgeable and told me to apply nematodes asap. He can apply something else but not until June. Absolutely gutted but at least I can now start to deal with them although he tells me it will be an ongoing problem.

Lawn renovation
Casey took time in taking steps to renovate our very poor lawn. He was very polite and kept us informed of the actions being taken. He bagged up the dead stuff from the lawn scarification and cleared up where he had been working.

Scarifying a lawn
Noah arrived to day to scarify my lawn - I must admit was surprised he was on his own, but that proved to be unwarranted. He worked very efficiently and cleanly. He explained the process to me.
I was amazed at how much thatch he pulled out of the lawn - filling my garden bin and half of a tonne bag. Noah was very knowledgeable about the next steps in the process.

Casey was extremely polite and courteous. A few hitches. Top soil delivered to wrong address, aerator too big to fit down side access and insufficient top soil for whole lawn. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My elderly wife approached this company to provide lawn care service to our small lawn. She agreed a fixed monthly fee, verbally on the agreement we were happy with the first on-site consultation, which we were subsequently not. The 2 representatives were unprofessional and spent most of the time standing around chatting about non work matters. A few days later we received a mail recommending a whole host of expensive treatments we didn’t want. When my wife kindly requested to halt the treatment within the standard cooling off time, she was threatened with additional costs, which their t and as state “may be applied in acceptional circumstances “ . They still overcharged us for the one treatment and haven’t come back to us on a range of questions. They have now taken money from my wife’s account without her permission. This has caused her considerable stress and anxiety. Please do not use this company.

When we became aware of your dissatisfaction this triggered an internal review to ensure we had followed our professional processes which aim to provide exceptional customer experience. For the benefit of anyone reading, we’d like to set out the facts here.
1. Pricing and agreement
Before any services were carried out, our onboarding team explained the monthly pricing to you in detail on the telephone during a recorded call. We have reviewed that call recording and we are comfortable that we clearly expained to you how we work, the costs for the services you required and the next steps to commencing service with us. This was followed up in writing by email, which also included a copy of our terms of business. The pricing was therefore fully transparent and agreed before we began to provide you with any services. In fact, during a later telephone call you confirmed that you had not read these emails in detail, which may explain some of your confusion.
2. Professionalism of our team
Your lawn survey was carried out by David and Noah — two of our fully trained lawncare professionals who have received many 5-star reviews from other customers. It is unusual to hear such negative comments, as this does not reflect the feedback we consistently receive about the service they provide. They met with you at home and conducted a full lawn assessment, exactly as explained by our onboarding team, and in line with the clear process we follow for every customer. Only when you confirmed you were happy for them to proceed did they then apply your first lawn treatments - your service with us began at that point and naturally payment then became due.
3. Recommendations following the survey
It is part of our professional approach to assess each lawn fully and then provide optional recommendations during the lawn survey meeting and also in a follow-up email. These are designed to give customers the choice to improve their lawns further, but they are never compulsory. We made this clear both on-site and in writing afterwards.
4. Cooling-off period and cancellation
Because treatments had already begun within the first 14 days, the standard cancellation period no longer applied by the time you requested to stop. This was explained to you by our team over the telephone.
5. Overcharging
We have carefully reviewed your account, and no overcharging has taken place. The pricing is correct for the services delivered, and this was again explained directly to you over the telephone and by email so that you had a copy for your own records.
6. Payments
Payments were processed strictly in line with the agreed plan. Nothing was taken without permission — all charges matched the agreed terms and this was made clear to you verbally and in writing before you instructed us to provide your lawn services.
We regret that this experience has caused your wife stress, as that is never our intention. However, our team acted with professionalism, explained everything clearly, and supported our advice with detailed written communication.
