The process was so easy! My "NEW" knives are awesome! Will use this service again.

The process was simple to follow- received the finished product in couple weeks- knives were sharp- really sharp.

I had 2 expensive (to me) Japanese knives that where damaged by my room mate. The tip of one was broken off and had a couple chips on the blade edge. I thought they where a lost cause, but I sent them in and they are better than new. I can't even tell they where ever damaged. I'm very pleased and have told anyone who will listen about the service.

Sharpenters lost all of my six knives. They say they only insured them for $100 when returning them to me. They should ask a customer the value of their knives and insure for that amount. Sharpenters refused to cover any of the loss.

Convenient and competitive pricing. Sharpenters was priced better than my local sharpener, did a fantastic job with every blade I sent them and made it easy and convenient. Highly recommended,

Firstly, Sharpenters did a fantastic job of sharpening my very well-used and very dull knives. We cook every day and our knives get a LOT of use. I think it had been about 2 years (I’m embarrassed to say) since their last sharpening, and boy were they sad! Now, they are fantastically sharp again and I’m back to chopping away with a smile on my face.

They also sharpened my serrated tomato knife and bread knife, and they came back perfectly sharpened with…wait for it…the serration still on the blade! Say wha?? I mistakenly had my steak knives sharpened by a guy once who told me “sure, I can sharpen those” when I specifically asked if he knew how to sharpen serrated knives. I’m guessing you know how this one ends. My set of 8 expensive steak knives were nice and sharp and….no serration. We finally gave up and bought some new ones, so…our loss and big lesson learned.

The only thing I had a hard time with was the turnaround time, and that is just a product of being in California when you’re shipping to/from Florida. I figured this may be an issue (and it was), and so almost gave 4 stars for that, but really didn’t want to fault Sharpenters for living so far away from me (damn you, Sharpenters!). 😂 So…five stars it is! For other Californians out there, it took 13 days to get the envelope (no worries, since I still had my knives), 4 days total for them to get them, 4 for them to work their magic, and 5 for USPS to get them back (so I was without knives for a total of 13 days). Not ideal, but I just bought a cheap chef’s knife on Amazon to use in their absence and made due with that (although paring apples with a sharp chef’s knife was interesting…).

One thing I would recommend, Sharpenters, is to allow customers to pick the exact number of knives they want sharpened. When selecting the number of knives you want sharpened, after 7 knives, the next number up was 10 or 12 or something like that (and you get discounts for the more knives you pick). I had 8 knives I wanted done and so only was able to get 7 of them sharpened because of this. Being able to customize the exact number you need, no matter how big or how small, would be much better.

But all in all, they did a fantastic job with the sharpening, and that is exactly why I sent them out. So….great job, Sharpenters!

we have used this service for years (2x a year) and love the quality of work they do - every time I get my knives back, they feel brand new - I always have to keep my knife skills high especially when they are back on the magnetic rack

Loved having professionally sharpened knives! They fixed my mistakes I made sharpening them myself. I also love my kitchen scissors but was afraid to try, I'm so happy to have them like new!

The whole process was so easy! I got the envelope and the directions were clear and easy to follow. A week and a half later I had my knives back super sharp!

Really pleased with the entire process. The packaging is very smart and the timing (from me sending them out to getting the back) was very quick. The results of the sharpening were much better than I've ever been able to accomplish (even though I've spent good money on home sharpening tools. Only giving 4 stars because I think it's a bit pricey; but if the option was available I'd probably give 4.5 stars because the positives way outweighed the negative (price). I will be sending more knives and have recommended this to my other "dull" friends.

I originally submitted a 1 star review due to my inability to locate my knives after 3 weeks and no reply from Sharpeners. I have since received a response from Sharpeners that the holdup was with USPS. I have since received my knives and they are extremely sharp. I am pleased to edit this review.

It was simple and efficient process to mail out my knives. Very happy with the amount of time in getting my knives returned and the quality was very good.

Great job! I have a sharpener at home but I've never been able to get them like these. Even my really old store brand knife is sharp now!

My knives left me as if they were old men, and return from Sharpenters like they had found the fountain of youth for knives!
