Fair Prices ? Anything but !!!
Can anyone explain why ii charge an additional fee of £29.99 per month, as well as the normal monthly charge of £9.99, when this was never charged by the Share Centre ?
Extremely misleading reply from Abi since the fee of £29.99 is NOT covered by their 'so called' Price Promise.

Overall I was pleased with how relatively cheap the Share Centre was but since their merger with II this is no longer the case. There are cheaper share dealing options out there but you do need to find a reputable one.

Outstanding customer service
I phoned up with a query and the gentleman that dealt with me was courteous, patient, and extremely helpful and knowledgeable; I cannot speak highly enough of the excellent service I received.

dire service level from the transfers team.
- over 4 weeks since i submitted transfer request and no action.
- a weekly chase email that isn't responded to.
hours of listening to hold music only to be hung up on when connected.
- a customer service escalation that promised a same day call back from transfers that didn't happen.
now waiting on an email from the transfers team .....

ii - What a rip off
Share Centre was great and I was with them from 1995, but I will not be moving my ISA to ii with running costs of £9.99 per month aka £120 per year. What a rip off.

ii..computer says Nul Points to your proposed charges
Being very busy I've only just got round to looking at the takeover of the share centre by ii. I have been a customer of the share centre since 2012 I think it was and i've been very pleased with them and the charges were fair and acceptable. I have just come off the phone from the TSC as I gather we had to respond by the 16th November. I believe the date has now been extended by a further 5 weeks or so. Given the proposed new charges of £9.99 per month of a regular saver account with ii, thats a whopping increase and based on my valuation, it just isn't worth the money so I feel I sorry ii., I cant justify your new charges so I won't be migrating over to you. I'm sure theres plenty of other companies offering better value. Share centre overall 8 out of 10 ii, 3 out of 10 based on a shocking price rise. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!!

Comedy of Errors over 8 months
I have just received funds which were placed in trust for my son by his great grandfather some years ago in his will. Whilst the situation was complex with my father and uncle being joint signatures and my father having passed away last year, the process has taken some eight months. Advice regarding third party mandates was incorrect and incomplete. Incorrect documentation was sent to my uncle's address (twice) - the correct documentation was sent to my deceased father's address (twice) and hours have been spent both on hold and talking to their CS representatives - all to no avail. Only once one of their managers took personal ownership of the situation (and I am very grateful for her efficient intervention) was there a resolution.
As a company handling financial investments, their handling of this account was reminiscent of a Marx Brothers movie.
Needless to say, I shall not be using them again.

Call waiting extremely poor
After finally getting through the lady was helpful , however I DO NOT ADVISE coming to this company , after several phone calls and long wait to speak to someone to try and sort my sons account now hes 18

mixed experience - good customer service but still have questions and the wait to speak to somebody was interminable
The adviser I spoke to when I eventually got through after over 45 minutes wait on the phone was helpful and professional. Like others on this thread, I have two small ISAs (transferred from PEPs years ago) and don't invest actively so the fees structure don't make sense and the Q&A online do not cover this scenario. as the deadline was Monday and website stated they will be doing maintenance on it tomorrow so it won't be active, I was concerned that I didn't have the facts to make an informed decision in time. She laid out my options but selling the shares seems poor given they are in the travel and leisure sector so are at rock bottom prices due to the global pandemic. Like others I fear the value (that has slumped since March) will be totally eroded by future fees but she assured me the price promise means I would be refunded the difference between old and new if I would have paid less previously. She also explained that the monthly fee is one fee for the whole portfolio i.e. not a monthly charge per account which had been how I'd read it hence being anxious to clarify. Clearly the website needs more done to cover smaller account holders - especially where I didn't hold enough Share centre shares to benefit from the new shares but have a cash sum doing nothing that wasn't explained in any paperwork. I don't like that the trading history doesn't go back far. The call and online perusal (not really used it previously) left me feeling I need to re-examine previous paperwork as something she said didn't feel right as I'd understood dividends were to be invested rather than being used to pay fees. I guess more questions than answers but more about the company than the actual customer service experience once I was eventually connected.

Do not recommend these to anyone
I do not want to move over to you new investor, I want nothing more to do with you or the accounts you hold. I have emailed about this and sent letter back, I have now been sent the same letters again which I have already signed saying I do not consent to the move. Continuing to send me these letters isn't going to change my mind. Frankly I don't care what you do with these accounts but I don't want or need them. You won't even tell me whats in these accounts. I am a single parent and I cannot afford to pay 9.99 a month for these accounts and quite frankly its ridiculous for you to ask this. Please provide a number for me to speak to an actual person about this direct as sending letters and email doesn't seem to get the message across!!!!!! Thank you

Very good service after an unacceptable 10-minute wait in the call queue, which was the fault of the call centre management, not the agent that I spoke to who was very responsive. Email and postal queries are now taking 2+ weeks to turn around- an unacceptably low level of service compared with how good TSC used to be. I blame the imminent takeover by ii, and really wish existing TSC customers could be given the option of remaining on the TSC platform.

Incredibly poor service in trying to complete an ISA transfer - they were once great a service but it has vanished as they focus on transition
Following response below contacted them and still n9 action. The transfer was commenced 1.10.20 so unbelievably poor service continues no matter who you contact in the organisation

As holder of a small Corporate Sponsored ISA account, with lower than standard Share Centre charges, I am not transferring. They have made no reference to my situation - and read the Terms and Conditions, the Price refund promise does not apply to me.
Neither ii or Share Centre are now interested in small investors, buy-and-hold, or ISA accounts which don't generate much trading commission.
