Flight click avoid
Flight click avoid, scam company, the toke 100 deposit, then didn't let me pay the rest of the ticket fare then . Kept trying to ask me for more money , rude on the phone , I went to my bank n started a investigation, and then they called me back n offered me 60 out of my 100 and , spoke very rudely and in profile , saying if I wait for the bank it will take 3 months , and they can get away with anything because of there terms n agreements ,
But save your money , they are rude scammers.
At least I only lost 100 pounds,
They have there scam well thought out so they have time to make your payment to them clear, so they make you wait at least a week.
Please be safe , and dont get robbed like I did
Great customer service
Great customer service, You give the quick answerer over mail.
Very poor service
Very poor service. Took over 9 months and lots of chasing to transfer to another provider. Finally done and I'm glad to be rid of them. Share centre were good until ii took over and they just gave up.
Extremely helpful and professional
I really needed help with my bank account details. Lynne was incredibly patient and also determined- she kept going when I had all but given up, and she successfully solved the issue. Thanks for an excellent service.
So Helpful
For anybody who stuggles with shares and what to do I can thourougly recommend this site and the help I recieved from its personnel over the telephone; Kiyani on the help line and Josh B, who helped me deal with my investments. Tabks Again
I wish I could give zero stars
After spending months trying to transfer from the share centre website to the Interactive investor website, and access my account, I now can log in and just get a message saying
'Sorry, we are currently unable to process this request. This issue has been reported to our technical team to investigate. Please try again in a few minutes and if you continue to experience problems please contact us for help.' Except, if I try to contact for help, I get the above message again. So I now have an account, but it looks like the API hasnt worked. I spoke with someone at their 'help' centre who had no idea at all and could not help me as he unfortunately had no product knowledge at all. I now cant access my portfolio at all. Apparently they need a form signing of which there is no mention of during the transfer process, and I cant access. In the end the guy at the help desk put me on hold, and then hung up. Nice. I use 2 other (cheaper) platforms which are just so much better.

Totally Unnaceptable!
After several years of loyal service, I am shocked and disappointed at the treatement we have had from Share Centre during the merger. My wife's case is perhaps unusual in that we are resident overseas, with a UK pension in drawdown from Share centre. To sum up, Share Centre have given her no way to move forward with ii and no way out of Share Centre:
1) II refused to transfer the pension in, as they will not accept new customers from overseas. I have a long email trail over a 9 month period with Share Centre and ii, confirming that they were unable to offer an ii solution.
2) Share Centre stated that we could transfer the pension to Curtis Banks at no cost, however the small print of the application stated that we would only be accepted if we employed a Financial Advisor, which of course costs money.
3) With seemingly no other option, we initiated a transfer to a 3rd party provider 5 months ago, and Share Centre have still not made the transfer.
I note that some other customers have been told "due to the merger we are experiencing high numbers of transfer, so transfers are taking longer than usual", however this is not a valid reason. Share Centre brought thi sproblem on themselves, they created this problem, and Share Centre need to fix the problem This shoddy affair has dragged on long enough!

Account migrated to Interactive Investor - no access to Tax Certificates until July
My account has been migrated to Interactive Investor. They are telling me they can not access my tax certificate until July at the earliest and are blaming the share centre for not providing this information.
However, my accountants need this information now to submit my business tax return.
I have escalated with Interactive Investor but they are not interested. They said if I complain, it won't get me the information any earlier. This is not good enough.
As a customer, I do not feel that I am being treated fairly.

I can only reiterate the poor comments…
I can only reiterate the poor comments noted below. The whole affair was very, very poor and seems to have been overseen by a complete incompetent. The new I.I site offers very little information at this moment and no historical information from my account from the share centre. I don't even have my end of year statement for tax purposes. Oh dear what a mess !!!

finally my wifes and my own stocks and…
finally my wifes and my own stocks and shares isas have been transferred from the sharecentre after 8 months. i have written to sharecentre to complain about the whole shambolic transfer. i would like to share the complaint letter with those that are having similar problems with this company. i have had a reply stating that my complaint is being investigated. my letter reads as follows.....Dear Sirs,
Now that the transfer of my wife and my own stocks and shares ISAs have been almost completed I am writing to formally complain about the inordinate time it has taken to compete the transfer.
The transfer was instigated on 20th September 2020 and at today's date, Thursday 6th May, 2021 my wife's cash transfer is still not complete which means it has taken just short of eight months. This, in anybody's book, is unbelievable incompetence to carry out a simple transfer for both my wife and i .
The whole transfer, had it not been pushed along by my phone calls and emails (many unanswered) from myself, and bearing in my mind my wife and I both complained individually to the Financial Ombudsman about the handling of both accounts, I believe the process would have taken much much longer. In mitigation, you will no doubt say that you were merging with Interactive Investor at the time, however I also believe from articles and reviews on Trustpilot and financial news that this merger was an unorganised shambles.
Because of the time taken to complete what should have been a simple transaction and my inability to reinvest my cash from funds that were not transferable because of the time lag, I ask that you reimburse me all of the fees charged for the whole transfer which will at least offer some compensation for the stress and time involved phoning and e mailing yourselves. Had you been honest about the whys and the wherefores I may have overlooked the problems. However I was offered by the recipient and platform I was transferring to which was iweb, dates and times of correspondence to yourselves and they also offered me transcripts regarding the transfer when you in fact told me that iweb were not responding.
Finally let me quote this statement made by the CEO of the Sharecentre and Interactive Investor, Mr. Richard Wilson and I quote...”a passion for service and people is at the heart of everything we stand for” . Really Mr. Wilson? My case and all the other cases on Trustpilot reviews say otherwise. You never find out what a company is like until things go wrong which happens in all businesses however it's what that company does to rectify the problem that proves their worth. Until now I cannot speak of Interactive Investors worth, however it has been seriously smeared by the Sharecentre's lack of looking after the man in the street part of the small army of small investors who collectively pay your wages. Neglect him at your peril.
I look forward to hearing your comments. yours sincerely
K Shephard

Transfer trauma
I am shocked that I haven't yet had any correspondence from either Interactive Investor or the Share Centre advising me that the transfer has taken place, the value of my funds transferred or my new account number. Given that the transfer supposedly took place on the 7th February we are now approaching three months without a word from either of these companies. I want to transfer my holding to another provider but can't do this without details of my account. Breathtaking poor service - zero stars is too many.
I attempted to transfer a pension plan…
I attempted to transfer a pension plan from a provider to ii. The transfer still has not happend. Admittedly, there was a complexity here which is that my old pension plan number which I gave to ii for the transfer is not the pension plan number under which the provider now manages my funds. However, someone who is doing such transfers occasionally should have realised this (incorrect plan number) after maximally the second failed transfer attempt and for sure should have realised this after being told so by the provider from whom the transfer was requested. To make it even worse, all communication from ii states that they are working hard and did nothing wrong. Well let´s see what the Ombudsman will say. Lastly, they took my NI, date of birth pension plan number and sent it to a shared email account at the receiving provider, even though they were advised by the receiving provider that sending such data by email is not secure and should not be done.

My wife has two CTF with the SC and despite them trumpeting about the move to OneFamily, my wife has received absolutely no correspondence whatsoever about the move of our childrens accounts.
NO E-mails
NO letters
Nothing!
We are now desperately trying to move our CTFs to a provider of our choice before the accounts are automatically sent to OneFamily.
After so many years of good service with SC, it is a shame it has to end on a such a bad note.
Incompetents!

Terrible ending to a long relationship
After weeks of trying I still have no access to my ISA or share accounts. II says that they did not receive all the information they needed to complete the transfer but I cannot get in touch with the Share Centre. I have been a customer of Share for over 15 years and thought they were one of the pioneers in providing low cost broking with good customer service. I guess that now thye have had their pay day no one cares any longer. I have had alsmost no communication from Share or II on this transfer - just one email. All I ask is that I get back access to my investments please.

The move to ii is dreadful
The move to ii is dreadful
Really poorly communicated a service I was paying for has now more than doubled in cost my money has transferred and I've not received clear comms that I will be paying so much in fees yet the ISA is also not flexible what an excellent way to lock people in for a year.
I want a refund on the next 12 months fees to match what I was on at share.com OR let me out

Transfer to ii (or not)
I’ve had a shocking time with the transfer to ii. The Share Centre has taken 5 months to transfer in an investment from elsewhere and so, despite assurances to the contrary never moved me to ii. In the end ii shut my account and I had all three organisations saying they didn’t have my money. I guess The Share Centre has given up caring, certainly they haven’t given any thought to all those people in a situation like mine.

Yippee! Finally Transferred my ISA
From 16th October 2020 my ISA was finally transferred on the 10th March 2021. It's taken several emails, customer complaints, and a couple of posts here.
Finally, customer services took note and kept me informed, but have since gone strangely quiet since my request for a refund of the fees they collected during the extended transfer period.
If I get bored enough, I'll do the form filling for the Financial Ombudsman; but is it worth it now that The Share Centre is no more? ii that's yer lot!

The Share Centre are completely incompetent
The Share Centre are completely incapable of handling my accounts, have failed to transfer my accounts to interactive investor, pretend they know nothing about a long line of communication and then admit there have been a tail of failings. Beware of this company and avoid doing business with them.
