I was in my local semi chem yesterday 5.10 pm not sure what time it closes but it was still open , I stretched up to get some hair mouse but knocked one or two over at the same time I couldn’t fix them as it was too high for me , the manager said to her friend I’m closing now I can’t be doing with the likes of this I’m not here to play mother but to her friend she said you can stay because I like you ! I could have walked out but I don’t like confrontation so I just went straight to the till and paid she didn’t even say please of thank you it was a horrible situation and I won’t be back in while she’s still there and I have heard she’s not nice to her staff either . I work in a shop and customer service is the most improtant part of your job but somehow she didn’t get that at all vile woman

Imagine being in the store waiting for ur friends shopping and cashier in castle court branch shouts someone stole my cream! Someone stole my cream!! Instead of looking for it she assumes someone stole her cream!! What is she doing using cream during work time and behind the counter?! Bad customer service! Very unprofessional!!

It clearly said any two for £2. However, was denied the sale. SCAM!

I visited my local semi chem in Bishopbriggs Glasgow. I always find Karen and the staff extremely knowledgeable & helpful.
If I'm unsure of a product they will always advise you. They are exceptional helpful to the elderly

Belfast castlecourt store, there’s no customer service the staff are more interested in talking to each other about what they’re doing that night rather than speaking with customers and continue to talk to each other at the tills when serving customers

On a Sunday afternoon, it was brilliant to find Semichem open when almost everything else was closed. They took in my John Lewis return so efficiently and with a very friendly manner. In future, I will use this as a yodel drop-off rather than go to the long queue in the post office

I usually go into Semi Chem in Largs and staff are really nice. I wad going on a short trip to Stirling and i needed a suitcase. I bought one on sale of £36 at Largs branch. I was travelling by rail. So journey was ok. On my return through Stirling, when i was crossing at traffic lights, the wheel fell off and suitcase fell on floor. I had to carry on with my journey back to Largs with 3 wheels. I was worried in case i lost another wheel. I took suitcase back to Semi Chem in Largs. I had my receipt with me. When member of management saw my case, she said that she did not recognise that type of case. I pointed out to her that they were selling these suitcases in store. I am a pensioner and i have never been accused of returning something different ever. She had my proof in a receipt and she had served me when buying and paid cash. Staff know me as i am always shopping in there. Obviously there was a fault in the wheels. Suitcase was not heavy either. I had negative expirience but i will still shop at Semi Chem as i get my bargains. Just wanted to make people aware to check wheel strentgh on suitcases.

I made a purchase from Semichem early December. I returned the item and have proof it was received 14th December. There is no phone number for customer services you are directed to messenger and WhatsApp I have sent several messages and literally I am being completely ignore it is the worst customer service I have received completely ignored it is disgusting to treat customers in this way. I have emailed. Sent messages on messenger and WhatsApp and no response

Brilliant customer service. Kirsty from clydebank branch is always so friendly and helpful . She gives excellent advice on products and which is best suited for a particular age group.

Semichem in Paisley has great prices and a great range of goods. However the best thing is the staff. Always busy but not too busy to help the customer and always smiling and friendly. Other shops could learn a thing or two about customer service from them.

Small selection of fragrance, no atmosphere. Staff too task focused. Only open until 5pm, difficult when working.

Peebles branch: I shop here Monday - Thursday every week and always have a great experience. some banging deals and great staff 10/10 would recommend shopping there for beauty products and treats if in the area. Located on the high street in a great location that's hard to miss!

I passed the window of the shop and was looking at the perfume there was a gift box displayed and the manager of the shop opned it for and showed me the inside, fab customer service, all the girls are lovely friendly and will go out of there way to help you

Springburn Branch without a doubt the best shop within the shopping centre pleasant professional staff what more can I say

On bank holiday Monday 27th August I went into my local semichem after seeing an advert in their window for Vera Wang princess perfume on sale for £9.99,great deal I thot as usualy around £26,so I popped in and purchased same as well as chocolate,crisps and when I asked salesperson where painkillers where, she grunted "on back shelf"so as I turned round to go to back of shop,I saw i was the only customer,but all 5 staff looking at me?I went and got painkillers i asked if I could buy 2 or 3 boxes,1 staff member practically ran into back of shop whilst others watched what I was doing, and bit puzzled I went back to till whilst staff whispered and stared at me,it was then I felt very uncomfortable as I realised that they thought I was doing something wrong.I can only assume they thought I was shoplifting,as I am a support worker within the community with an impeccable work and moral ethics record I am deeply offended and when I spoke to sales person at till and explained that I brought all my clients to that shop and shopped there myself and felt I was being treated like some kind of shoplifter,salesperson said"oh really ".I know shops have to be aware of security but I can assure you this is overkill to the extreme.I will shop elsewhere even though we like to promote shop local I will not expose myself or others to the same experience.

I love a wee shop in semichem in Coatbridge all the staff are very friendly and polite nothing is ever a bother I was in today as I normally am at least once a week and staff couldnt be more helpfull always keep you up to date with the deals and bargains and is always a pleasure to shop here was served by Margaret today who was very pleasant and friendly..

Rude staff, completely ignored me whilst I was at the till. They were too busy on their phone and shouting and swearing to each other to even acknowledge that customers were waiting. I set the stuff down and walked out. Will avoid dungannon branch in future.
