I purchased two Seeland Arden Shooting jackets. The shoulder pads are made of a slippery polyester the result gunslings and gunslips (and rucksack straps) just slide off down the arm. The consequence is that the jackets are hopeless for their intended purpose. Seeland customer service not interested.
Key Point Boots split above the heal after only a few months. Very disappointing, my last Boots Woodcock wellingtons lasted 6 years. Thought I was safe buying Sealand again, but mistaken
Only had the Seeland Mens Key-Point Neoprene Wellington Boots for 3 weeks and the sole split away from the main boot. Terrible quality. I am going back to Aigle or Le Chameau.
I bought My husband a pair of Seeland wellingtons. These were in a sale but still cost over £75. He had them a few months and both of them have completely split open above the heel at the back. I’m totally disgusted by this. Having read reviews on here that Seeland don’t get back from their customer services I have not bothered contacting them. I just do not want to buy anything again from Seeland in any shape or form. I would advise anybody else not to unless they just want to waste their money.
Had various Seeland clothing items over the years which have all been extremely durable. Recently a zip broke on my north jacket. I contacted Seeland directly and received amazing help from their marketing manager who arranged for it to be fixed.
Returned with a brand new zip and also a hole patched with no issues.
The service alone would make me continue to buy more products.
The zip in my older Sealand marsh fell apart at the end, I tried to find a replacement online but to no avail, I contacted Sealand direct, they replied almost immediately, asking for various measurements, which I sent to them ASAP, I received a new zip 2 days later, free of charge, I cost me £15 to have it fitted.
You very rarely get service like that in this day and age.
This was 3 yeays ago, but calendar won't go back that far on my phone.
Great Company and super friendly customer Support.
I got the HAWKER EXPLORE JACKET, the KEY-POINT JACKET, and the Key-Point Reinforced trousers. I never had a product of such great quality.
I'm a big fan of their work and would recomend it to anyone.
I bought a Seeland Woodcock 2 jacket for birdwatching and clay shooting. As part of a layered system it is excellent. More flexible than my Barbour, though not as tough.
treggings sold as waterproof, someone brought me a pair as present and after couple of outings let water in. tried to contact company but all communication ignored
Bought some Seeland bib and brace style over trousers, Realtree pattern and 'seetex' material. A nice looking product but after a couple of outings proved to be not waterproof at all, also the design of crotch is same as conventional trousers, not a diamond gusset so split open when crouching down. The Seeland range looks good but is not suited for outdoors/ practical/ countryside use- considering this it's massively overpriced and useless for my lifestyle. Also bought a waistcoat but sent back as finish/ quality was awful.
