We had quite a long wait for our chair, but not surprising at the moment. Good communication throughout from Poltronesofa. Delivery itself was outstanding! They listened to our request regarding access etc, and the young guys on the day were brilliant. Very helpful and efficient, cheery, and no moaning about all our steps! Thank you, lads.
The buying experience was good - helpful young lad, without being pushy. The older guy who was on was a bit of a pain, so we left to have a think, and returned to deal with the polite lad who helped us. That was our only negative. We love the chair we bought, it feels good quality so far.

Steve was so helpful and gave us the time to decide which sofa would suit us the best.

The staff members we spoke to were really good, friendly and helpful.

They got the price wrong I had to go back and pay the extra. I wasn't offered disposal of my old sofa for some reason. I also wasn't given much clarity of how modular the sofa is and how easily it will fit into my house. Leaving me worrying for weeks about it not fitting.

A warm welcome and initial explanation regarding sofas & materials was great.
However when we had decided and confirmed our order (which again went well) we were surprised at the amount if deposit required.
It was much more than the online site advertised.

The delivery was made in the middle of the timescale given.
The two men were very helpful and friendly, set up the recliner and explained it to us.

David and Tom were excellent,they were there on time when messaged,efficient at putting the sofa together and explaining the controls.
They appear to be extremely busy,but still afforded the time for this delivery,
I do hope they are well revered.

Visited both Birstall and Huddersfield stores. On each occasion the sales staff were very knowledgeable and advised on which sofas could be deconstructed as we have a very small entrance hall. Delivery lead times were given upon purchase, and delivery date met! Delivery guys were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Messages and calls kept me in the loop and when estimated delivery time was getting near I was able to track the van. No complaints at all!

I ordered a sofa from this company and I had to wait about 4 months for it to get delivered. They attempted to deliver twice but it couldn't fit becausethey make their sofas to Italian standard which doesn't work in most UK houses . The first 2 delivery drivers and the company were hesistant to help come up with a solution. Only when the last delivery driver came were they able to work a way to get the couch in my house. Honestly, this would be a 1 star if not for the 3rd delivery men.
Additionally there are a lot of hidden charges. They told me I would either loose £700 to change the sofa or I would be charged £40 per day for everyday the sofa remained in their company.

Delivery date started as 9th January, it wasn’t actually delivered until 30th January after numerous delays. The contact number was very difficult to get through to and there was no way of contacting our local distribution centre.

The two gentlemen who delivered the sofa were excellent (when it finally arrived) very polite, efficient and tidy. Thank you both, can not fault them.

The sofa is missing a connection cable which means we can only recline one side which is really disappointing.

Overall the sofa itself is lovely but not sure it was worth the 4/5 month waiting time and hassle.

The delivery crew were friendly and very professional. They arrived exactly at the time they stated. They fit the suite together with ease and moved it to exactly where I wanted it. They tested each recliner before leaving and explained the cleaning procedures. They removed all the packaging and took it with them.

We recently visited the Huddersfield branch just to get a few ideas about what kind of sofa we wanted. Steven took the time to help us choose the right recliner sofa and a chair, and he was incredibly helpful and professional throughout. He explained everything clearly and made the whole process really easy and relaxed. Thanks to Steven, we didn’t feel the need to look anywhere else for sofas. A big thank you to Steven for such great service!

5 Star to get your attention!

no satisfaction! I have made three reviews in the last month. 2 to 1 star but they get pushed down. I have emailed customer service as requested! No reply, I have been to store three times on my own time off work! I am not buying ? Am not a new customers,new customers are priority! Thier is no one at the store to help resolve you issues because Thier is no help desk. You have to see the same sale person , who is not always available! So just hope you don't get issues with dalivary or error with payment plan. Scs seems to abandon customers. Scs say Thay have 120 years of experience and have refined their skills to helping , listening and coordinating Thier delivery etc . Yes Thay have got a lot wright! But they have not got a handle on haw to deal with after sales or a dedicated team to resolve issue.
I eventually got a call back ! To refund me the error they made , was told could receive money back next day. Still waiting over a week! I got no apologize form the manager . scs not offered any compensation for Thier mistake or my loss of income, time off work???

My delivery experience with SCS was brilliant, my sofa was delivered 11 days early and on Year's Eve which I wasn't expecting. I was informed a few days before and was kept updated on the progress from 6.30am to the time of delivery and was able to get on with my day. The delivery crew called to let me know they were half an hour away. They were very efficient, friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend SCS.
