Help for when your car dies away from home
My car broke down beyond repair, a long way from home – a logistics nightmare. Scrap Car Comparison found a good salvage deal, organised a collector, and answered my (many) questions professionally and patiently. The collection is pending, but so far the experience has been great. (The collector details were a little vague on the collection time window, but that's a separate issue.)

Collection driver arrived
Collection driver arrived, "inspected the car" then a few minutes later came back and said the VIN from the ECU and engine didnt match on there scanner ( but having now check does match on mine and the garages scanner) then he tried to tell me the engine that was running perfectly next to me 5 mins ago had a miss fire. All in all wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them the Specialist garage the car was at also agreed that the less than half the original offer was ridiculous!!!

Very useful service
Great comparison site for getting the most for our old car trust was not going to pass her next MOT. Chose company that would pay the most. That were excellent too. Money was in the bank before they departed from outside our house.

Easy and quick
Easy and quick. It took just a call from them after I did a quote online. Next day I had a call from the company who collected my car to schedule the picking day. They came and it took less then a min all the documents, quick and easy. They took by themselves the car on a platform. Money transferred next working day. Really easy and quick.

Got the best price from them, easy transaction, even though gave them wrong bank details 🤦🏼 gave me a message to say problem on payment soon sorted and money in the bank, arrived on time , can't fault them , deffo recommend
