In their mailed literature, they listed a feature in their web portal that was non existent. I mentioned in a message on the site and I was told I would receive an e-mail reply. Never happened.
By calling Santander, I found out that California law does not let residents make their communications privacy choices on line. I had to fill out the paper form under state law. Bureaucracy!

this company is the worst of the worst to get a car loan with. they won't help you if you fall into trouble, and the worst is the loan is paid in full, closed and they won't take it off as a charge off, even though it is paid. this is a disgusting way to do business now ,I have crap on my credit for 7 yrs and they wont budge . it says charge off, and I have a letter from them saying said in full.

This company was rude and Repossessed my vehicle with no warning. they refused to work with me although I was willing to pay my past amount. they told my pay at the full price of the vehicle or nothing. I will never work with his Company again. If I see there name I will walk away. I understand I defaulted but at least work with me or attempt to. interest was outrageous and they seemed to eager to take the vehicle. I will report these people to the better business burro if they don't work with me and will tell everyone I see to stay away

You sent me an email that doesn’t show as important. I’ve NEVER heard of you before. 15 days later my lease is delinquent. Not a single piece of US Mail. HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW.
I had already provided bank account information to Tesla… apparently you never received it.
UPDATE: received a call today from a very helpful person who said she was in the executive office. Started with a sincere apology. Double checked my information and it turns out that somewhere between Tesla and Santander, my house number was wrong. They had sent a statement but it was returned as undeliverable. She also confirmed that my payment (made yesterday) had been processed and that the account is current. She went on to verify that no negative credit information had been reported. Well done!

This is a company with NO humanity at all. GREEDY!
This was my 2nd car I bought thru them, first one paid off. They got paid by my car insurance and GAP. It wasnt enough, I still owed $2,200. I chose NOT finance with them on a new car due to the RUDE people in their call center. Calling me "sir". I am a female, no transgender here. They laughed, getting their jollies from pissing off a customer! What fun that is!
They got paid $23,000 from my insurance. I still owed, and they ramped on me, took my credit score into the toilet. Calling me at all hours, texting, emailing and mail. even tho this car was paid off 5 years ahead of time, they still harassed me endlessly even tho I told them to STOP! I struggled to make car payments on my new car along with this wrecked car. Accident cases take months to settle, so they added late fees. I asked them to remove it now that the case is finally settled and I can pay off what I owe. and NEVER do business again with them! They decided not to take off the late fees. Bye bye forever and I will tell everyone I meet not to finance thru them!

I called twice to set up my account online, but it tells me my email is already connected to an account. I tried to reset my password, but it tells me my account is locked. I spoke with a rep, and they tell me there is nothing they can do. All i got was we are sorry. So I'm stuck with no online account

This has to be the absolute WORST banking experience I’ve ever had to deal with. My vehicle had been totaled and they have been insanely difficult on getting my insurance the information needed to pay off the loan. Finally after weeks of no response from Santander my insurance finally gets the paperwork they need and issue the check to pay it off. But now I’m stuck in limbo waiting for anyone competent enough apply the check towards my account. Now I’m stuck paying money towards a totaled car every month until someone can fix this. I have had my autopay setup and they gladly pulled the money from my account but then tell me that I’m past due. So now I’m losing money on this car and this bank is going to ruin my credit because they can’t properly post the money I paid ON TIME to my account. Their customer service is little to no help at all. The website is horrible and provides very minimal information. I would avoid having to do business with this bank at all costs !

Got an email to set up an account. Filled in the information, got a 6 digit security code. Entered the code, the website didn't proceed. Just spun and reset. I'm a little concerned this was a scam because the welcome message also used the wrong car, but eventually it let me log in and set up autopay with the correct car on the 3rd attempt. It's fine.
