1 star is too much for this company
1 star is too much for this company, by far worst company I’ve dealt with and I shop around a lot. I ordered a child’s shirt for my 6 y/o. Paid $60 ($10 for shipping) yes I know way over priced, this company is outrageously overpriced, but my AMEX give a $50 credit for Saks (Amex is stopping this in Jul because the company is such bad news). Figured the shirt is probably worth $10 and there’s nothing cheaper on their site so figured why not. I received an empty box, everything looked fine opening it but once it was open I did notice a piece of tape was torn or cut in one side. It really looked like the shirt was never in there but maybe someone cut it and pulled it out, idk. Anyway opened claim with Saks, they closed it and said no refund, that’s all they said. I called and spoke with a manager who said it was closed because they have proof it was packaged correctly and the tape was damaged by FedEx so I needed to open a claim with FedEx. I politely explained that’s not how that works, you are the shipper you insured it and you have the proof, it’s the shipper who opens the claim and you refund me or send a replacement. Well conversation went south after that when she kept refusing and said “you know how many issues we have with shipments, we don’t have the time to open claims on every package, that’s the recipients job”. So I lost it after that point. But I tried to open the claim with FedEx and they would let me open it for this type of shipment and said only the shipper can open a claim. So Amex is reversing the charge, thanks Amex! Saks might as change their name and replace the a with a uc because that pretty much sums it up.
Never received an item
Never received an item, and they insist that it was in the package. I paid $132 for this shirt that never arrived, and immediately my claim is denied. I have to take this up with my credit card company. Do not purchase from this place online.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience at Saks Fifth Avenue. I found a shirt I really liked, and the price tag clearly showed $70, so I decided to purchase it.
However, when I reached the billing counter, the staff told me it was incorrectly priced and changed the tag right in front of me to $141. This was extremely unprofessional and misleading. Customers rely on the displayed price when making a decision, and changing it at checkout is not acceptable. Pricing errors are the store’s responsibility, not the customer’s.
What made the situation worse was the staff’s attitude. They were not polite and didn’t even apologize. Instead, they casually said “mistakes happen” and asked if I still wanted to buy it. That response felt dismissive and rude, especially given the situation.
Overall, this experience left a very bad impression. I expected far better transparency and customer service from a store like this.
It was in grapevine mall Dallas
Worst customer service and returns
Worst customer service and returns. I sent a return for a full refund and they sent me a store credit. I paid via PayPal and they are saying they can not issue a full refund via PayPal. They sent me a store credit. When I talk to customer service they tell me to use the store credit and do not understand that I want a full refund. I’ve never had such an awful experience with a brand before.
Never buy from Saks
Never buy from Saks, worst customer service ever! I ordered a M size Burberry Jacket, they sent me by mistake a small one and they charged me two times for the shipping; I paid for the return even though it was their fault. The jacket also was used and not a brand new! Very disappointing!!

Horrible ! Buyer Beware!
Horrible They do not speak English. Even when they get the order number after numerous attempts they claim it is nto under my name or email. Though it is! When I asked to speak to a supervisor because they do nto find my order they refuse. It is truly a nightmare to deal with Saks. Never agin. BUYER BEWARE!!!
Selling used merchandise as new
I ordered a expensive ralph lauren coat. It arrived rolled up in a dry cleaning bag from Saks warehouse!!! It appears to have been worn and wrinkled as the price tag had the preferred price tore off? I called Carlos asking for a price adjustment since saks had no more coats in my size. He said he could only issue a return,no adjustment. I asked for a supervisor and Carlos started drilling me with questions on why I wanted to speak to a supervisor. I finally got connected with floor supervisor, Jose who said he could only assist with a return not a adjustment so that I could pay for dry cleaning. I can see why Saks is in bankruptcy. Instead of saving a sale, you would take merchandise back!!! Pathetic service!!
Don't Trust Saks Or The Prices On The Website
I ordered an Este Lauder foundation product on the Saks website. I paid $52.00 plus shipping. When the product arrived, it had a price tag on it of $30.99. I called customer service and asked they to explain the discrepancy They did not have an explanation, and the representative said that Saks would nor adjust the price to meet the price on the product. The representative said that I could return it, but I would need to pay a return shipping charge. The representative was very rude. I certainly will not be shopping at Saks in the future....dishonest and poor customer service
Dissatisfied
Polite, but very disappointing service. I had called about a coat and was told the medium I wanted was sold out. I had already tried the small size and was fine with it, but I wanted a little more room. Instead of proactively offering the small or another available size in the back, the associate seemed fixated on the sold-out medium and almost let me leave without helping me at all. There was clearly a solution, yet I had to insist just to get it, and they didn't even offer an additional discount on top of the 25% off for the inconvenience. It felt like she didn't really want me to have the coat, which was frustrating. Politeness is nice, but proactive, reliable service is what makes shopping a good experience-and it was lacking here. — SAM women’s outerwear dept.
Horrible
Horrible. Will never buy from them again. Overseas telephone customer support rude. Made return extraordinarily difficult.
No customer care, employers they don’t have any business education.
I bought a a pair of sneakers Roberto Cavalli. I know the stores are closing and they have a big sale. I was in the hurry and I believe in the ticket say 7 1/2 in the box to and I bought it. I don’t try because it was after work and I want to get to my house when I get home. I try and was too small. I can back to the store and I wanna change for another side and they tell me it was the final sales and they can do anything. They are very rude. They laugh on my face because I say I don’t want the shoes because they are not my sigh and it was 37 1/2. I have many European shoes I never I see half size so I need a size 38 .That’s why I believe they closing stores. They did a horrible customer care.
Horrible customer service at Saks
Horrible customer service at Saks. They are selling items in UK sizing on the US site and won’t exchange! Waste of money!! Will never shop there again
Blue Polo slacks sold as 32x32
Blue Polo slacks sold as 32x32. I own another pair in green marked 32x30. Without trying them on, sent the blue pair to have the inseam altered to 30" like the green. Upon trying on the blue ones, the 32" waist didn't come close to fitting. The green 32" waist fit fine. I buttoned both pair identically without wearing and superimposed the blue pair over the green and there was clearly an inch more of overall waist fabric on the green ones. The blue ones were clearly marked wrong and now I'm stuck with them. Saks has been going downhill for years, selling seconds to customers and super-inflating the prices of everything. I hope American Express offloads them on their Platinum Card Benefit b/c Saks sucks. $115 for pants that I basically have to be anorexic to wear. Thanks Saks...hope Chapter 7 isn't far away....heard the newest CEO bailed after only a few weeks. Yeah, you got your act together.
I’m so disappointed about this store…
I’m so disappointed about this store the item arrived wrinkle like someone else already worn it and drop it somewhere on the floor. No fold, no price tag? Saks Fifth Avenue I believe you can do better.
I purchased a pair of Dior sunglasses…
I purchased a pair of Dior sunglasses that were $490. I was super excited to receive them. The shipping was great! They got here quick in just three days! Unfortunately it looks like they just grabbed them off the shelve at a store. My $500 dollar sunglasses were used!! Very disappointing. The sunglasses themselves are amazing but I can’t believe they are used. VERY SAD CUSTOMER. I wish I could upload pictures of this.
The absolute worst customer service I…
The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced! Do not order from them ever!!
I never received my order
I never received my order. the customer service representative was extremely rude and unhelpful and asked me if I wanted him waves magic wand. They will not send me a new item or issue a refund because FedEx claims they delivered it. However, my camera does not show FedEx delivering any package on that date and time. Even asked my neighbors to check their cameras and they said there was no truck in our court at that time. I even sent this evidence to Saks and they’re still not taking action with this issue. My next step is making a report to the BBB and filing a police report.
