 DiabolicalRoyal mail

Incredibly poor Service from the Royal mail every week you get one big chunk of post the post isn’t delivered daily not even every other day. The service is appalling. The postman are rude and when I questioned the other day so it ain’t my fault it’s a
disgrace we should really scrap the Postal Service and just go to a mailbox and pick our post up because the post office is useless absolutely useless

Parcel lost, impossible to speak to anyone on the phone

Ordered my niece a jellycat to be delivered by royal mail, on the delivery it said adress inaccessible, will deliver next working day. There was no attempt to deliver at all from the start and no more correspondence. I tried to contact Royal mail which is a total nightmare then ended up going to the delivery office it said it was at (this is a 32 mile round trip with a parking ticket on top of that). I spoke to a nice lady who later rang me me to say that the parcel was lost, she gave me the number to ring customer services for compensation but I think I would rather remove my toe nails with pliers than attempt to ring royal mail again. Luckily jellycat were amazing and gave me a full refund.

Not to be trusted!!!

Royal mail has to be one of the worst organisation overall in the UK today.

I had to return an item that I had ordered from eBay, and unfortunately the courier service that this particular supplier prefers is The Royal Mail. I arranged for the item to be collected on a day when I wouldn’t be working, only for The Royal Mail to move it to the following day without my consent. My regular postman turned up and collected it the following day. He said that there wasn’t a tracking number, but at least the address was there, and circled it. A few hours later I received an email from The Royal mail to say that they had called to collect the item but there was no-one in!!!!

At this point I decided to call the office, because it was clear that no-one had no idea as to what they were doing. I spoke to a lady who gave me the tracking number and also a case number if there were any problems.

We are now two weeks on and it still has not been returned to eBay, WHAT IS GOING ON? I never thought that I would see the day when I would be saying that The Royal mail is worst than EVRi.
I spoke to someone in their customer service department this morning, and he was as helpful as a chocolate teapot, absolutely useless!!! All he kept saying was that it has been lost in transition. I beg to differ, as quite frankly unless The Royal Mail can prove otherwise I think my item has been stolen!

DO NOT TRUST THE ROYAL MAIL TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A COMPETENT SERVICE, AS THEY ARE CLEARLY NO LONGER THE BRAND THEY ONCE WERE.

Purchased item and paid extra for the…

Purchased item and paid extra for the "tracked 24" option. Item was collected by Royal Mail on Monday 13th July. On 14th July tracking stated that they could not attempt delivery. I phoned the local mail sorting office and was told that staff shortages meant the item could not be delivered. Called again on 15th and was told they had my package and it would be delivered today. Just received a message on the tracking app - and this is what really makes me me so angry - stating that delivery was attempted but no answer. THIS IS A LIE! I live in a care home with a reception that is staffed 24 hours. I received 2 Amazon parcels this evening and an online shop was delivered without a hitch from Deliveroo. Royal Mail it is one thing to be incompetent but then to lie shows the absolute contempt you have for your customers!

I’d honestly give them zero if I could

I’d honestly give them zero if I could, Royal Mail are so incompetent, they’ve lost a previous package of mine in sorting and the one I’m waiting on has been delayed twice when I payed for it to be delivered in 2 days. Their driving staff are useless and don’t bother to come to my street when I order things their customer service is utterly useless aswell. GO EVRI!! They actually manage to deliver my packages

Mail is now only arriving once in a fortnight maximum sometimes a month late doesnt matter if its 1st or second class. Hospital appointments are not being recieved, a first class post from skipton bsc with a special offer arrived a month late and was no longer valid, my partners premium bond prize notification came 6 weeks after the draw instead of the usual fortnight, bank statements are coming 4 to 6 weeks after being sent posing a security risk. Mail is arriving in large bundles all at once and nothing for weeks the victorians did better than this and they used horse and carriaages it needs nationalising

Worst delivery service out there

Only giving 1 star as zero isn’t an option. One of the more truly useless services we have to use. Literally any other delivery service is 100 times better!! Sadly Amazon seem to use them a lot now! Doesn’t matter how many times you tell them
A safe place or to leave with a neighbour they ignore you and put one of them stupid things through the letterbox saying they’ll try again tomorrow!! Guess what guys? I have a job and won’t be here tomorrow either, try leaving it in the safe space I keep telling you. Or I guess il spend yet another day driving to your sorting office and standing there like in pre war times since you can’t read!! So lame!

Royal Mail redirection service

I paid £95 to have my mail redirected for 12 months. I didn’t receive any mail for a whole month so contacted the buyer of my old address who informed me that he had a lot of mail for me. I contacted (eventually) the service department and after investigating they said there had been a glitch and everything was now corrected. A month later the new owners contacted me again to say they had about 25 letters for me. I again complained, and after investigating they said a card was not put up in the sorting office to divert the mail. I told them I had missed appointments and failed to tax my car because of their negligence. I requested a refund due to breach of contract but they only offered 3 months due to the fact the service was now running correctly. I appealed and they found in favour because of the part refund and the service that was promised is now running. Today, I had a message saying there is mail waiting for me. Total waste of £95. Moving? Give the new owners the money to send on your mail. At least that way you’ll get what you pay for.

If I could give less than 1 it would be in the minuses
They delivered a £239 steam generator iron from Curry’s and when nobody answered the door they left it in front of the front door by a busy road partially covered by a recycling box and that folks is what our wonderful Royal Mail/Parcel Force deems to be safe, easily accessible (to whom I wonder) and supposedly out of sight it is laughable if it wasn’t for the fact that I am not entitled to a refund as it was what they deemed a SAFE PLACE!!!
Where do they find these people who work for them. Fuming

I wanted to change the delivery date of a parcel I was due to receive but couldn't. There is no menu, no AI, no contact, something as simple as changing date not covered in FAQ. Asked Google which said there should be delivery options available under track but there isn't, only delivery preferences such as delivery in a safe place or a neighbour. Utterly useless.

I lost my wallet at the Festival of Speed, it was found and posted back to me. I received a open plastic apology bag, with a empty Jiffy Bag inside, which was very neatly torn open.
I can't claim anything as it was sent from a business account.

Once again waited in for most of the day. And once again let down by this absolutely hopeless company. Why they actually bother to tell you when they will deliver something when they never do is beyond me. The worst delivery service in the UK right now.

The parcel was thrown on the concrete floor outside the house. The post person did not or refused to knock the door - we was at home at the time of delivery, to inform us - we was not aware of the delivery. As we are both severely disabled we would not have been aware of the parcel delivery, until the following day. I will inform Trustpilot of this issue.

Absolutely Appalling Service – Five Tracked 48 Parcels Stuck at the Midlands Super Hub

I have completely lost confidence in Royal Mail.

I currently have five separate Tracked 48 parcels, all of which have been stuck at the Midlands Super Hub with no movement and no meaningful tracking updates. It is beyond frustrating to pay for a tracked service only to watch every parcel disappear into the same black hole.

The tracking provides no useful information, customer service cannot explain what has happened, and there is no transparency about when the parcels will actually be delivered. A “Tracked 48” service is meaningless if parcels can sit at a sorting hub for days without any updates.

This is not a one-off issue. When multiple parcels become stuck at the same location, it points to serious operational problems. Customers deserve honesty and clear communication instead of vague responses and endless waiting.

Many of these parcels contain items that people need urgently. Delays are understandable from time to time, but the complete lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable.

Royal Mail needs to address the ongoing issues at the Midlands Super Hub, improve its tracking system, and provide proper customer support instead of leaving customers wondering where their parcels are.

After this experience, I will avoid using Royal Mail whenever possible and will choose alternative couriers that can provide the reliable service that customers are paying for.

Very disappointing.

Absolutely diabolical service

Absolutely diabolical service. Sent some papers last Thursday (6 days ago) that needed filling in and sending off for someone who was in another part of the UK.
Visited local post office at 09:03 and sent next day signed for (and paid the premium for that service) thinking they’d be there next day.
Didn’t turn up on Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday or today.
Spoken to Royal Mail and all they can say is to leave it until the 22nd and claim a refund.
Absolutely not good enough.
Sent them signed for because they needed to be filled in and sent on by 18th of this month. Tracking info shows when I took them to the post office but not a thing else.
Royal Mail said all I’ll get is a confirmation that they’ve either been signed for or that delivery has been attempted but so far nothing.
I know the Royal Mail has its problems but never in a million years did I think that a premium service would be allowed to fail in such a disgraceful way.
I think I’ve got a better chance of winning the lottery than anything I send by Royal Mail turning up when it should, or even turning up.

Go belly up

How is Royal Mail getting worse. I’ve thought they were bad for a while but with every parcel it gets worse. Never hoped for a company to fold so much. People need to stop using them. Useless.
