ZERO STAR

If there was a ZERO star, they'd get it.
Delivery late, then received email saying "attempted delivery 18/7 at 22:20(! they deliver til 7:30pm, so they told me on my subsequent call), but no card/photo evidence.
Then today, after a 24 minute wait, they say the did NOT attempt delivery yesterday, will try today.
As reported in the news recently, they lie about their performance, presumably to 'cook the books'& avoid fines from the regulators.
Appalling 'service', should be out of business

Absolutely useless service

Claimed delivery was attempted, but nobody knocked or rang the bell and no card was left. Tracking information is contradictory and makes no sense. Completely unreliable and extremely frustrating experience.

they might be parcel force

they allow parcel force to use their branding and systems despite those systems not working for parcel force and giving you no warning you are getting something from parcel force. parcel force refuses to deliver my parcel or give me any option for redelivery.
despite not having a problem with royal mail they allow themselves to be indistinguishable from parcel force so I have to leave my review here as well because customers are likely unaware of who they are dealing with.

'Problem Postage' not 'Royal Mail'.....

I made a simple call to obtain a copy of an invoice, the telephone representative from Royal Mail, 'Agi', was the most unhelpful and confrontational person I have ever had the misfortune of conversing with, no understanding of what 'customer service' is.

I feel that 'Royal Mail' do not deserve the 'Royal' part in their name, nor 'Mail' as they can't seem to get that part correct either.

I think 'Problem Postage' is more fitting, there ALWAYS seems to be issues when dealing with them!

Appallingly inefficient and lacking…

Appallingly inefficient and lacking customer focus. Despite the shift to electronic mail processing with the benefits to efficiency it should bring, this sadly isn't the case. My specific event involves a 24 hour delivery from a medical company. In order to ensure there were no delays I elected to have this delivered to my local post office for collection, so being a post office and the delivery being processed by Royal Mail I'd expect they would deliver to the post office before it actually closes because they likely would be aware of the business hours, not so. The post office closed at 1730hrs, yet Royal Mail attempt delivery it 1826hrs, obviously closed, the delivery can't be made. There is no option to reschedule delivery for my convenience, it says I now have to wait for them to attempt delivery again on Tuesday, so one day short of a week after placing my order for 24 hours delivery and I still have no parcel, no idea what time on Tuesday it might arrive and no ability to reschedule for my convenience. Absolutely appalling!

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could, as I didn't receive any service. I waited over 30 minutes to speak to someone, and when he put me on hold, I had to wait another 14 minutes. Then I got an automated survey, and the call ended. 44 minutes of my life spent on this call with no help whatsoever. They make it really hard to contact them by phone, but my query could not be sorted online. Looking at the other reviews, it's clear Royal Mail need some help sorting out their CX. Maybe hire a consultant.

A locker has recently been fitted close…

A locker has recently been fitted close to my home. I’ve tried to use it on three separate occasions and each time there I is no paper to print the label. I phoned them about it today due to my frustration. They said the machine is not capable of informing them when the paper is running low!! I explained I found this hard to believe when my cheap home printer tells me it’s low on paper or ink. They think it might be rectified in four days! Meaning my parcel will be very late. It makes a totally mockery of paying extra for a fast and convenient service when it would have been quicker to put the item in a letterbox with a second class stamp.

Did not deliver despite message to contrary

received message saying would be delivered today. Tracked service.
Waited in all day as afternoon delivery only then to receive a message saying "unable to attempt delivery" what the heck.
Drove to sorting office which was closed. Only open in morning for 2 hours on Friday.
Coincidence or not exactly the same happened the Friday before.
Spoke to post.an at SO who confirmed this message did mean ran out of time. Disgusting service. They did not even try.

Could be so much better

We live in a normal town not rural or miles from anywhere but we only get post 2 maybe 3 times a week and when we do get it the post marks are days old even worse when the normal guy is off then you need to check your neighbours as he can’t read street signs and struggles with numbers ( not good if your a post man ) could be so much better

COMPANIES GO BACK TO EVRI PLEASE

COMPANIES GO BACK TO EVRI PLEASE! Why are companies using Royal Mail for deliveries? They are shocking. This is the second delivery in as many weeks where Royal Mail say they have delivered a parcel, no card to say this, it’s just me checking the delivery status for my delivery and realising they have said it’s been delivered. I am then met with a photo of several parcels in the post van for one delivery and a photo of my black bin, which is full and no delivery should be put in a black bin!
Just been on hold to raise a complaint..and they have picked up the phone and put me straight through to their survey and cut me off. You are shocking Royal Mail and you just don’t care! I urge all companies to use other delivery…even Evri drivers deliver batter service than RM

No stars should be available. Worst couriers ever .

No stars should be available.
Worst company to ever exist 🤬
.
Parcels missing probably stolen.
Leaving parcels anywhere despite having a safe place designated .
Rudest , vile people to encounter and customer service is totally useless.
Ring and have to wait an hour at least …then they cut you off .
So far in the last month…stolen earrings sent from ebay two weeks ago…never turned up.
Large Parcel from Temu…left outside my gate …which was unlocked and open ….then stolen as its a public footpath.
Wont compensate, wont do anything..they just do not care in any way .
Employees are lazy, incompetent, rude and totally not got a brain cell and certainly no common sense .

DONT LEAVE THEM A NOTE ..NOT EVEN A POLITE ONE ON WHERE TO LEAVE PARCELS…GOT SWORE AT ON MY CCTV CAMERA AND TOLD I WOULDNT GET ANY MORE DELIVERIES …THEY KNOW THEIR JOB WITHOUT NEEDING A NOTE ….NO LOVE YOU DONT
WHY ARE YOU LEAVING PARCELS ..INCLUDING MEDICATION (I PUT THAT IN THE NOTE ) ON TOP OF A FILTHY BIN IN DIRCET SUNLIGHT….WHEN IT STATES…KEEP COLD/ COOL .‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️)

A CERTAIN BLONDE EMPLOYEE IS VILE .

I hate this company with a passion with the stress they have caused me and hours and hours and hours of my time they have wasted.
They have no consideration, no care or anything.
They charge extortionate prices…yet when it comes to delivering anything…worst company ever.
Worse than Evri now .
Today ..my item was not delivered despite saying out for delivery …its been held ..in retention 🤬‼️
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN ???
One small box ..and no sign and not coming either.
I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy and thats saying a lot ‼️
