See what reviewers are saying
All of their reviews on recent movies are terrible. It seems that if you promote a certain ideology, you get a high score, no matter how poor the plot, or acting or CGI. I have zero faith. Actually, I... See more

Awful Navigation now. Ruined it
I used to like the ease of going on Rotten Tomatoes and checking things out with my login of course. But all of a sudden there’s nothing but moving pictures there’s no way to just look at what you want. You have to look at what they want you to see and they’re huge big ads for movies and whatever and you can’t get off of them. Once you look at them you have to quit the app and then go back. They have ruined it. It used to be extremely easy and now when you’re looking for something to stream you get two big pictures on a page on an iPad and then you can’t get out of it. You must quit. You’re stuck. I hate it now.
mobile website sucks, no one wants your app
Their mobile website is so broken you can't even login
Stop promoting this website...
If public gives a movie a 9.3 and they give the same movie a 3.4 then you are not worthy of writing reviews in my opinion.
People should stop sharing reviews from websites like this... 1.3 starts on trust pilot? Even our coverment website has a better rating than this. What a joke
Not all it can be… But not as bad as the rating here
My experience with the site was pretty good. Their interviews with cast are smart and respectful, although I disagree with many of their ratings in reviews (which is usually the case for many) I'm not sure what sites can do to deter paid reviews, etc... as part of marketing campaigns. I take it with a healthy grain of salt. The site looks outdated yet, or minimal investment (maximize profits) but it helps in helping me decide whether to watch something or skip it.
So Much Dishonesty
They're trying to force products down people's throats by promoting dishonest reviews through censorship. It smells like fascist consumerism.
I give Rotten Tomatoes 2 out of 5
I give Rotten Tomatoes 2 out of 5. The site looks nice and has a lot of movies listed, but the rating system feels unreliable. Too often, the critics scores don't match what audiences actually think. Sometimes even great films get a very low score, while average ones are praised too highly. The user interface is also cluttered, and it can be hard to find honest audience reviews. Overall, it's not the best place if you want a fair picture of how good a movie really is
Lost credibility
Lost credibility.
So many reviews on the platform are fluff. "Certified fresh" means absolutely nothing anymore.
Out of date information
Out of date information, obviously set up by somebody that wants what they say not a true representation of people real views. Total waste of time.
They wouldn’t let me post reviews
They wouldn’t let me post reviews for “breaking community guidelines.” I had no curse words, I was polite and was praising the movie, but they would never let me post a review. There was no way to get in contact with support staff. This is clearly a vote-manipulation platform used to influence ticket sales. No value in this any more.
Must be getting paid to spin it...
They must be getting paid to spin the results .. click into certain movies and read the actual reviews... Negative ones are being certified fresh will tiny positive exerts used as the summary. Should be shut down for fraud.
A dishonest site that edits reviews…
A dishonest site that edits reviews rating at a wim.
This site has lost all its neutral objectivity
If you want honest reviews this is not the site for you.
Absolutely garbage..
Absolutely garbage... ironheart was rated well below 30% and you delete all the negative reviews and give it certified fresh what a load of crap.. corrupt.
Need better reviews.
I gave Rotten Tomatoes a 2/5 and here's why.
1. Many of the reviews aren't very helpful or detailed. They would usually just say for example, "Very good. Please watch now" and it doesn't say why they like it.
2. The screen has to many ads messing up the it, and is very laggy and unorganized.
3. Not many reviews. For example, Avatar: The Last Airbender, one of Nickelodeon's most successful tv series, has only 23 critics that are all "fresh" (Basically meaning they love it.)
If you like better and detailed reviews, I recommend IMDb.
Stop using Rotten Tomatoes
These people are not respectable critics, this is a circle jerk of cynics that all want to agree with each other and hate on things that other people love. There is no legitimacy to their ratings. The notarity, that rotten tomatoes has gotten, is not deserved.
Unreliable reviews which are stopping…
Unreliable reviews which are stopping people watching films and killing our local cinemas. Go see it for yourself and make up your own mind!!!
There are two overall problems
There are two overall problems. For the audience reviews, it's obvious corporate film studios bomb the site with positive reviews which don't accurately reflect the general public's opinion. Need proof? Go to films the bombed at the box office and then cross check with audience reviews on RT. The disparity is glaring when compared with non-corporate films that made a profit. Looking at the positive audience reviews from the bombs show an excessive use of short declarative statements of overt praise such as "this film is awesome" with a five star rating (5/5). Whereas those who give a negative or middling review regularly give reasons rather than emotive statements. As for critics views, RT does not distinguish between the blogger with a small subscription to the authentic critic writing for a reputable media platform. They also use an algorithm that ignores actual ratings (say 7 out of 10) in favor of a allocation of positive and negative reviews. This results in the misleading claim of 100% rating when all reviewers gave it a positive rather than a 10 out of 10. The combination gives false information that favors the film industry. Although with non-corporate films the system works well enough, anything from the big studios is to be distrusted.
Just a Place for Trolls to Gather
This review site doesn't give any good or structured reasons why they use such negative ratings. I feel like they are trying to tear down movies by not giving fair and biased ratings. Just a place for trolls to gather and nest! That's my opinion. Don't shoot this messenger please, thanks!
Woke biased review site
Don't look at any review score they give, a typical woke small company trying to boost rubbish films.
Look elsewhere on reviews.
Review website gone woke
Review website gone woke! They'll give a movie top rating if it is woke but then destroy anything that doesn't fit their political narrative. It's 2025, go woke go broke, as you're starting to see :)
