Completely untrustworthy. 5/10 is a fresh on this site. Even IGN doesn't think a 5/10 is good. It also prioritises professional critic scores over user scores and often there's a massive disparity bet... See more

This site is totally untrust worthy
This site is totally untrust worthy. Clearly reviews can be bought. The mind blowing fact is the the shills are paid peanuts.
Rotten tomatoes is owned by Comcast ( NBC, sky, Universal and peacock) and Warner Brothers.
RT gave me PTSD
I usually like RT and use it frequently. But today, I was looking up a family friendly movie and they blasted me with a popup for Bad Boys - A very loud and violent preview. If RT is reading this please add some context when deciding what preview is blasted in front of a user. I've now got PTSD from your flashing me with that violence on the middle of watching family movie reviews. I'm calling my lawyer now.
Rotten Tomatoes is utter garbage.
Rotten Tomatoes is the most garbage website I have seen in a long time. Never have I seen a "review" website with this much bull bias. They very obviously get paid to promote certain movies. Some movies that are complete trash get a 100% while other really good movies get a 0%. You are a joke and a disgrace to the entire movie industry. Please delete rotten tomatoes, then you will finally do something good for humanity.
Rotten!
Basically if I want to find out about a movie I check rotten tomatoes, if they rate it badly I know it must be good.
I've just finished 'where the crawdads sing' beautiful movie, fantastic audience rating.
Rotten tomatoes who are you ? You are completely out of touch and unfairly biased, you are truly rotten !
Terrible site, manipulating reviews to promote certain shows and movies!
This review site is deeply disappointing. It restricts user reviews to a limited selection of movies/shows, completely omitting numerous TV shows. Furthermore, there is a stark discrepancy between audience ratings and Tomatometer reviews, with some shows receiving low audience scores but high Tomatometer ratings, suggesting potential bias or manipulation. As a result, I've decided to disregard this site's reviews entirely.
Confirmation Bias
It’s a website, based on free speech and democracy- now, like IMDB, biased towards advertising and mega corporations money.
It’s sad that the internet giants have succumbed to the woke censorship of today, forfeiting the original spirit of Gates and forth, tech built from WW2 and the Space Race, now invasive and killing kids as they grow up online.
A generation ahead of the millennials- we see how the world has changed, so fast our brains cannot adapt fast enough - our DNA written deep into us for decades to come.
It matters not, as AI will soon make us all redundant- watching and governing what we do, drones and cctv watching, Alexa listening to all you do, Cambridge Analytica influencing your political decisions. We are already in The Matrix.
Disstraction TV and websites when we are in WW3, it just take a second for Putin to start MAD - Mutually Assured Destruction as evidenced in War Games.
I know it’s primarily a Movie/TV review site, but it has changed. It’s so hard to leave an honest review online. People just want to hear good news from enigmatic people. Confirmation bias, basic psychology where you look to confirm your beliefs.
JLO’s movie is everything you need to know
JLO’s movie getting good reviews is all I needed to know about the ‘rating system’. I will NEVER visit this fraudulent website again. They should be shut down forever. (You can pay for positive reviews, in case you weren’t reading between the lines.) Their entire website is fraudulent. Shameeeeeee
Yeah IDK how to rate this
Yeah IDK how to rate this. The user reviews contradict the critics reviews on a lot of movies... and I appreciate that honesty.
It's nice to be able to look at the use reviews at 3% and the critics reviews at 99% and conclud "political trash no entertainment value"
But on the other side they do block negative reviews, they stop reviewing
So 2. Because idk how deep it goes but I do love seeing the critics called out on BS by the viewing public... but I don't know how deep the censorship goes when they block reviews of movies... and certainly when they block one side
Rotten Tomatoes are being Paid!
I started to see that Rotten Tomatoes reviews didn’t make sense then I read how they are paid foe positive reviews. I don’t use them anymore. There reviews are useless!
I was put on the platform
I was put on the platform, they ask for a lot of money for a deposit and when I refused to pay the last one, they showed me two types of rules on the platform that contradicted each other. They explained to me that some were for me and the others in the help center were not. Complete scammers. I think we should gather all the cheated people and judge them because we are clearly not few.

I have been invited to a trial and earn my first bonus after completing my first task. Now they are asking for a deposit of £50 to continue with more task. This seems a fraud. And thank to trust pilot to help people find this fraud in time.

If I could give 0 stars and a big fat…
If I could give 0 stars and a big fat SCAM pyramid I would. At first they tell you all you have to do is rate movies. You have 3 sets of 28 tasks ro rate. You need to deposit £50 so you get those 3 sets . Which I did. They let you collect your commission which was £50 . Then you deposit again £50 but you get premium order and you go to negative balance which you have to cover. If you don't you can't continue your task and get back your money. I fall for this with £3000 . They don't have a refund policy so now they ask me ro deposit £2900 or my account will be frozen. To unfrozen it its the negative amount X2 which is close to £6000 . And they give 4 days to find the money. When told them they are a bunch of liers and scamers i was threatened to watch my mouth. So basically you loose the money. The deposits and the commission. So if you see rottentomatoes-film.com run away as fast as you can
I also joined the rotten tomatoes…
I also joined the rotten tomatoes critic reviews. I paid money but was put on a premium showing so went into negative and they asked me for more money to review films. I refused to pay and the agent I worked for got all snarky about it. Do not fall for it. I paid £50 and that sounds good because they are going to pay you commission on top of it. All you have to do is complete 3 tasks and you get that back plus some money on top. Then they sneak you into a premium deal so you go into negative and have to pay them more money before they release back what you have already paid. It's a big scam. I've also heard that the site is going down so it's probably their way of making easy money before it happens. Don't fall for it.
I was asked you to pay a deposit for a…
I was asked you to pay a deposit for a movie evaluation (supposedly, a movie ticket is purchased and the evaluation "earns" 0.9% commission). Then they came up with premium order bonus that cause the price of the supposed movie ticket to skyrocket making my available funds in the account not to be enough and a negative balance appears. in order to evaluate further, I was required to cancel the minus balance by bringing in more money. That is, after starting the evaluation with an amount of £100 without being informed or offered the premium package.
