I had a problem with my telescope which had been damaged in travel emailed a picture of the damaged part and ten minutes later order was placed and new part arrived 36 hours later

I ordered some equipment for my telescope on 24th June and promptly received a reply. Told me they would send it out to me on the Monday. Then Monday came and my order arrived at 13.15. Amazing!!! Got the email to say that it was on its way 2 hours later.
Excellent service.

RVO - and Adam especially, with whom I've mainly dealt - have been fantastic with me since I began purchasing products from them in 2019. As a newbie back then I needed help: RVO helped me all the way. Today I need a non-stock item only available from an online-only retailer with whom I've recently experienced 'attitudinal friction' leaving me feeling less important than the company I'm buying from. I asked RVO whether they could source it - yes, all sorted, no need to stress. Why on earth did I ever approach that online company? Thank God for RVO is all I can say. Nick H.

Both myself and my wife are interested in Astronomy and want to take it to the next level, we Googled it and saw that Rother Valley Optics was our nearest shop, when you’re new to something technical like this we think it’s best to speak to someone who knows the process, AND see and explain the equipment available.
We were greeted by friendly staff that asked us what we intended to do, then took us to the jaw dropping show room, WOW.. this has everything anyone could possibly need for this subject.
There’s no push to buy, you can look round, and when you need information they explain it in detail, it’s a must go to place for anyone interested in Astronomy, the prices are matched too so you can’t go wrong !

While I did have some issues with my order, it's
hats off to Adam at RVO. He's taken the time to reach out to me and listen to my issues. He's done everything possible to restore my faith in RVO. I now know that RVO do take customer service seriously and will do their best to ensure they have satisfied customers. It's good to see how a company responds when there is an issue.

Initially quick and efficient but left out an integral part of the package dispatched to me. Had to wait a few days for it to arrive.

RVO provided a fantastic service throughout ordering and delivering my order. They kept me updated on items that were also due to come into stock too. The telescope I ordered was delivered with great packaging and care. I can highly recommend them for all of your Astro gear.

Good price, quick delivery

Very helpful, even for the smallest of questions, When buying from them the process is simply and they keep you up to date, of your purchase's progress.
My only negative is that if you buy something small like a filter, the cost of postage is £20 to the north east of Scotland when the item could have been sent by royal mail large letter for a few pounds. But it just means I have to save an order to be more than £100 before sending the order to make it worthwhile. They would have gotten five stars if it wasn't for the postage.
