I needed to replace 2 Velux blackout…
I needed to replace 2 Velux blackout blinds and wanted to stick with Velux blinds. I ordered the blinds from roofwindowblinds.ie and received them a week later. With the help of youtube I fitted the blinds myself and it took me about an hour. Roofwindowblinds offered the most competive price on line, supplied genuine Velux product and the blinds arrived when promised. Very satisfied customer. I would highly recommend this company.

I recommend roofwindowblinds.ie to all Irish customers.
I needed to replace a VELUX model that used nylon cord in the side guides that had excessive wear. I bought a model for my window from roofwindowblinds.ie and it was perfect and a better VELUX model than original that does not use nylon cord guides. I bought during their discount offers and couldn't be happier. Great customer care if needed and a genuine business to consider. I recommend roofwindowblinds.ie to Irish customers. Plus, no Brexit tax charges to worry about.

Velux Universal Blackout Blinds
Ordered my blinds and they arrived a day early. Got the best price I could find online with roofwindowblinds.ie. Fitted the two of them myself easily enough with the instructions provided. I'm absolutely thrilled with them. They look really well and the blackout element makes the room super dark. Highly recommend and would use again.

Did not work
We tried to put the blind up but it did not have any fixings to attach to the velux window.
Its now lying on my desk in two pieces.
There were two red/orange tassels which seemed to go nowhere.
Two handymen tried to put it up without success.
It was for a Spa treatment room, where the therapist wanted to blackout the sun. Even if it did fit, the sun shone through it as we were attempting to attach it, blocking out no light at all.

Sorry to hear you've had problems with your blind.
All blinds should come with everything you need to successfully install your blind. In an event where you think you’re missing pieces of your kit, you can contact us so we can organise a replacement blind for you.
Also, you mention that even if the blind was successfully installed, it wouldn’t “blackout” the light as your therapist requested. You had ordered a standard roller blind which doesn't completely black out the light, but softens it. They’re used more for reducing the sun light and for privacy.
What you would need is a blackout blind to fully block out all sun light.
