The app was frequently criticized for chat restrictions, age verification issues, and general instability. Customer service was a major point of contention, with many finding it unhelpful, unresponsive, and feeling like they were interacting with robots. Roblox ruined the platform

Summary: Roblox’s AI Moderation and Gameplay Issues

Roblox’s current state has left many long-time players deeply frustrated, with a growing number of complaints about false reports, wrongful bans, and an overall decline in game quality. The platform’s heavy reliance on AI-driven moderation has created a system that often punishes players unfairly. Innocent messages, harmless jokes, or even normal gameplay actions are sometimes flagged as violations, leading to temporary or even permanent bans. This has made the community feel like they are walking on eggshells, afraid that any small action could trigger an automated penalty.

The problem is worsened by the lack of transparency and human oversight. Many players report that appealing bans is nearly impossible, with responses feeling automated and unhelpful. The AI seems to misinterpret context, tone, and intent, resulting in punishments that don’t match the situation. This has led to a widespread belief that Roblox’s moderation system is broken and unfair, damaging trust between the platform and its community.

Beyond moderation, Roblox has also introduced AI verification systems that many players find intrusive, buggy, and unreliable. These systems can lock players out of their accounts or block them from certain features, even when they’ve done nothing wrong. Instead of improving safety, these measures often create more frustration and barriers for legitimate users.

On top of that, the gameplay experience itself has suffered. Many avatars now load slowly or appear glitchy, and games often run with noticeable lag, even on good internet connections. This performance drop affects both casual players and developers, making it harder to enjoy or create content. Combined with the moderation issues, these technical problems have made Roblox feel less fun, less stable, and less welcoming than it used to be.

Overall, what was once a creative and vibrant platform is now seen by many as over-policed, overly automated, and technically unstable. The combination of false bans, flawed AI systems, laggy avatars, and poorly optimized games has left a large portion of the community feeling alienated, disappointed, and nostalgic for the days when Roblox felt more about creativity and fun — and less about fighting with broken systems.

Roblox’s new publishing requirements…

Roblox’s new publishing requirements are a huge step backward for creators. Locking public game publishing behind a paid subscription makes the platform feel greedy and completely against its original purpose. Roblox used to be a place where anyone could create and share games freely, especially younger developers. Now, basic publishing is turning into a paywall, making it harder for new creators to be seen. These changes don’t support creativity — they restrict it. Roblox is slowly losing what made it special.

I don’t like Roblox because kidnapping

I don’t like Roblox because people kidnapped kids because of Roblox because of adults try to trick kids into telling them there address and ask if they want candy ,puppies and cats and then they will ask if they are going to be tickled and ask is they want to go out to eat with their friends and they will ask for candy or whatever and they will ask you if they want to be there for you to come over for the candy or whatever they are doing that you want and they can just say that you want it to go away because they want it and they will ask to be honest with them to go out to get you to get it to you to get your money back so that they don’t get you and you don’t have a lot more than that is the point is you have a lot to do you want it and then they don’t have a little more than you can

Roblox is no help

I was hacked. I contacted Roblox for help. They help me get my account back. when they said if they stole any items please tell use and add screenshots as proof. Added my screenshots and never replied its been 10 days and they always replayed in 30 mins or less. They make this game to easy to get hacked but also not easy to get your account back and Roblox doesn't want to help you anyway. I would not recommend this game.

BRING BACK OLD ROBLOX!!!

im telling you, your making it worse with all the safety add ons. by seperating it into groups, you can now easly target a group, act like a kid, and get their trust while slowly making them your slave. with the old chat, you actually had more safety than with the new chat; people can make sure your not being targeted. also the face thing is broken. i will never give roblox my id to just talk to my friends when your going to ruin it and make the server that holds all the ids, easy to crack. now you have alot of hackers acting like people they arn't with other ids that arn't theirs.

roblox is ahh

Roblox has lost a LOT of players (including me) because of their horrible updates. I used to see games with over 10m+ players before the stupid ahh age check. Roblox. Fix your damn game. You are losing players. Haven't you realised what you have done? AND NOW YOU ARE GONNA SPLIT THE GAME MORE, ROBLOX KIDS, ROBLOX SELECT, AND ROBLOX. This is bs, look at you in 2013-2019? Wtf happened? It's freaking like diddy baszuki decided to one day say: "lets ruin the freaking game." FIX. YOUR. DAMN. GAME.

Scammers

Son brought something by accident in a game, due to them annoying pop ups. Contacted Roblox via chat, apparently need to contact the developer. Tried to do this through the game, no luck. Roblox then say to try doing this outside of the game?! Cus that seems sensible. . I think not! Now got to wait 15 days to contact roblox again for a refund, which I'm not hopeful for.
