What a wonderful holiday to the Baltics…
What a wonderful holiday to the Baltics with Ana our guide. From start to finish she was organised, diligent, full of knowledge and ensured our holiday ran seamlessly. The guides who met us in Helsinki, Tallin and Riga were all excellent, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable.
Hotels were all of a good standard with comfortable beds and amenities. All the meals included in the tour were of a good standard too. The signature events were all superb, concert and food visits were very enjoyable and added to the whole experience. We would highly recommend this holiday to anyone who would like to explore this area of the Baltics.

Recently back from a fun-filled cruise…
Recently back from a fun-filled cruise on the Rhine & Danube on the MS Wm Wordsworth - then the MS Moments.
The 5* ships, the food, the crew and the sights were all wonderful!
Sadly ALL cruise ships were badly affected by the drought in Central Europe, which caused very low water levels in both rivers.
This meant that there was considerable disruption to our itinerary, including exchanging passengers and crew with another ship - to avoid the "dry" area!
But the Cruise Director (and Host) did an excellent job of entertaining us and re-arranging things - so we saw some sights which we would not have, originally.
Not Riviera's fault but -despite very poor comms originally about the problems - we had a fantastic time.
So much so that we are planning another river cruise with them, next year!

Clear, helpful booking process for great holidays
The Riviera website is very clear and easy to navigate, offering a great range of holidays. After exploring it, I received a "can I help you?" email from a named agent from the team, which prompted me to return to a particular holiday, which I then booked, after a brief call to the agent, to clarify three key questions, which were answered 100% promptly and clearly. Full marks.

An E- mail clarifying intermediate stage would be helpful
Process straightforward but an issue following payment of deposit .I didn’t receive confirmation that it was booked so completed the process a 2nd time . On checking with Amex the deposit was still ‘pending ‘ 24 hrs later . So in the end I had to telephone Riviera and was advised that it was still with ‘the flights ‘ team. The helpful lady confirmed the first booking and cabin , cancelled the 2nd booking and advised I would receive an e- mail confirming booking once the flights were secured.

Riviera contacted me regarding a future booking, which we did not want to proceed with until compensation and a refund was returned following a previous cruise. Jemma was so helpful and professional explaining and proceeding with our booking and refunds. She was very patient and very friendly. Next cruise now booked.

Trip of a Lifetime
I just went on a safari with Riviera, hosted by the wonderful Karen Holladay, supported by Ian and Jeff. This was a trip of a lifetime and everyone did everything to make sure it ran smoothly, any wrinkles ironed out elegantly and swiftly, and that the best time was had by all. Highly recommended. Beautifully curated and managed.
