Richer Sounds - Watford Reviews 

Telesales was helpful but the product didn't match expectations, so I phoned the WATFORD store and BRADLEY suggested I call in to make sure that I got the right product.
Having owned a business in the service sector, I'm experienced in identifying someone who is excellent at their job and Bradley is that person - He listened to what I hoped for in the product, made sure he understood what is was about the returned product to make sure that he made a recommendation. He tried various headphones to ascertain which he thought was the right set and presented EXACTLY what I wanted and hoped for. Very calm, no fuss, just pure professionalism - even half an hour before closing time on a Sunday! So now, I know where to go and this proves that personal shopping is the way to go. THANK YOU

I purchased a Denon AVR from Richer Sounds Watford the salesperson Anca was very professional in the way she explained about the product i was going to buy and the delivery requirements i asked for,i have bought many products from Richer Sounds since i first met Julian Richer when i installed equipment in his first store at London Bridge back in 1978, i have bought many products from Richer Sounds and i will continue to do so.

Bought some new speakers, the guy in the shop arranged a demo, set it all up with the music I asked for and I bought them. Simple, straightforward and a good deal. Thank you Richer Sounds

Richer Sounds are our first stop for audio and visual equipment. Prices are competitive and staff are helpful and knowledgeable. So why only 4 stars? Because they use DPD for deliveries and DPD are awful. On this occasion they delivered the item to our neighbours even though we were at home.

I’ve shopped with you for many years and have never had a bad experience. You just know how to treat customers. I recently bought a Sonos soundbar which I found underwhelming so asked Lloyd at Watford if I could exchange it for a different brand (Denon) ‘No problem’ he said. I told him I’d damaged the original plug and it was missing ‘no problem’ he said. I’m sure most other retailers would have said that I had invalidated the warranty. So I came along to the store with Sonos and Lloyd had set up a demo for me to show the difference between the Sonos and the Denon. One clear winner. So within 10 minutes I was on the way with new soundbar and you had one happy customer. Thank you Lloyd and thank you Richer.

the new TV is good. I think the sound bar is working but the sub woofer is not connected.
fortunately I was able to dispose of all poackaging in the bin store attached to our block of flats.

Really happy with the advice we received from Heather and Lloyd. We bought 3 TVs on our second visit to the Watford shop. No pressure sales. Also the recommendation to get Jason to check out our property for a TV aerial was great. We need more kit and will go back to the Watford branch before considering going anywhere else.

Friendly phone staff, all items I wanred were in stock.
Because of bank security hassle I visited Watford branch to pay.
Even though it was a normally out if hours visit the staff there were most helpfull and sorted my problem quickly.
All items delivered on time and in top condition.

One minute I’m looking for a new integrated amp, but I am looking for a very specific one, AND it has been replaced by a new model. I bet Richer Sounds has an ex-demo one in great condition. I emailed and two days later it’s plugged in to my system. Lloyd was very helpful when answering my questions. This is a company I enjoy giving money to, because you guys are sound!!

We went to Richer Sounds to get advice and help with a soundbar for my husband who is hard of hearing. They were super helpful allowing a return and assisting us in the shop to find an alternative. Their recommendation of a Geemarc Sonarya is now being followedup. Thank you to an extremely helpful and understanding team. Superb service!

The guy helping me pick an entry level turntable system was amazing, set it up so I could hear it in the listening room, advised on features possibly other options, knew everything I needed to know and more! Super-helpful, polite, friendly, welcoming. Hifi shopping at its best. All price-matched to Amazon too!! Well done Richer Sounds and the Watford staff are brilliant!!!

I contacted Richer Sounds in Watford - I received great advice from Sammy and then went down to have a demo of the amp I wanted with the speakers I intended to purchase. I was made so welcome. Parking is a problem on a Saturday so I had to park outside in a loading area - the staff kept an eye out for any traffic wardens!
The demo went well and Sammy addressed all my questions. As a result, I purchased an Arcam 5 amp.
Great experience for somebody getting back into HiFi!!

The service was good but unfortunately I did have to call the store and query what I was charged as I was overcharged by £36. I’m not sure why this wasn’t picked up by the salesman that carried out the transaction

Rang up for advice re deliveries and got excellent guidance. Then rang again for packaging dimensions to see if the boxed TV would fit in my car which the readily gave me. The collection and loading into the car was all very smooth. TV is now installed and in full use.

Great knowledge, great price, great service. I forget how good Richer Sounds are until I use them again.
Thoroughly recommend.
