The service is not reliable and I’m having ongoing connection issues. I have tried multiple times, but still have not been able to connect successfully.
Additionally, the system automatically deducted money from my account, even though I was unable to use my remaining minutes due to these connection problems.

Skype but somehow worse
It's worse than Skype, but Skype shut down so I gave Rebtel a chance. Their ads say there are no fees but they definitely added fees during checkout so it's false advertising. Also I tried to get a refund for my last purchase because calls keep dropping but their AI chatbot wasn't working so I gave up and uninstalled. Stay away.

Used to be good but recently has turned into a scam charging you for every failed call. The customer service is so inefficient and slow ignoring your feedback and requests and sending a response obviously from a template text. Finally got them to refund my latest top op payment (still not my full balance) after threatening to escalate to consumer protection buearu and back and forth emails over 3 days.

Rebtel used to be good
Rebtel used to be good, but now it has become a disappointment, when you are trying to make a call, it will speak an unknown language and you will suddenly lose your data. It is unclear whether the application has been hacked or not. It has been stealing people credit. I had 20 minutes to call international whenever I dialed the number it will speak unknown language and all your minutes will be gone. It’s not worth it. I’m down to 6 minutes out of 20 minutes. You are pretty much wasting your time and money recharging it. This is becoming a scam

SPAM + FRAUD
Never deal with this company. They trick customers into signing up for free trials; block access; force us to contact support and then say 'to verify we have the correct account, send ID + Card Details'. Only Govt. Agencies, Healthcare or Employers have the right to see ID!! Plus I signed up with paypal, not a card. Then they hound me with daily spam and refuse to close the ticket.

The service itself is fine but they charged me twice for the same month.
I could not speak with anybody at the customer service ,they use only AI chat to "solve " problems. I didn't get back my money. I don't trust in Rebtel anymore,cancelled my subscription and I chose a different provider.

not reliable
Rebtel works fine... Sometimes. Most of the times, it cuts after 3, 4 or 7 minutes into the conversation. Its really not ideal when you have to call again every 7 minutes or so.
Skype was cheaper and was very reliable.

Used to be a good service
Rebel recently started charging a fee to top up Zimbabwean numbers. A 10usd top up used to cost around £7.70 depending on the exchange rate. The same now costs a fee of £1.47 meaning it now costs £9.20 to send 10usd which is far worse than the exchange rate. This is daylight robbery. The website still states this service as fee free. Their support is non existent and you get answered by a robot.

Keep getting number not available
Bought credit to make international calls, and each time I tried to make a call I kept getting number not available, albeit i know the number works because am trying to call my bank internationally. I reached out to customer service, and they gave all sorts of excuses
Making an international call shouldn't be this difficult, i just need my refund back
Disappointing customer service. Instead of taking responsibility and solving the issue, they kept giving me stupid excuses why it might not work, then just give me my money back ????
