Amazing service from QS Supplies, I had to make 2 changes due to builder errors. Cancelled orders, every person I dealt with gave exceptional service- Muzammil, Sadiq, Vanish and Sarah [sorry if I misspelt a name!]. I then wanted to get a replacement from QS as their service was outstanding, which I've now ordered. In addition their pricing is so good. Will defo use them again. Thks ALL

The customer service was poor from start to finish. There was a 5 week delay on my order, so I had to cancel my builders. When the product arrived, they forced me to try and take delivery while I was on holiday blackmailing me with a £40 charge for storage unless I took delivery by the 28th August. They delivered the products on 17 August (whilst they knew I was away), then when I complained that they tried to deliver things to me whilst they were aware of the known holiday. They then moved the goal posts again, saying I had to take delivery by the 24th August (whilst it was known that I was still away).

The delivery ultimately arrived early on 26th August, completely outside the delivery window (even not within the 2 hour time slot that I was texted at 5:30am). The delivery driver failed to ring doorbell and dumped heavy and expensive goods on the street for a single female to move alone.

I was not informed at any point of "kerbside delivery" by QS supplies or the driver, so that I could have had my builders on hand to help. When I rang the driver within 5 mins of his arrival (having dumped things on the drive without notice and outside the delivery window), the driver said he was "out of area" and unable to tell me the complaints process.

QS supplies had no apology for anything just a comment of "email in".

Unprofessional company. Cannot recommend.

The supplier's reply to my review is a misrepresentation of the facts. They have done nothing to apologise or rectify the situation - as demonstrated below, the reply is defensive and skewed to try and save their reputation rather than actually value customers service in any way.

1. It is not true that the delivery date was changed twice at my request. I ordered the goods in July when I was ready to receive them. I was told (after order) that there would be a 5 week delay. I told them of holiday dates where I could not receive a delivery. Despite this, they booked 17 August without notice or reference to me which I obviously had to change. I was then blackmailed with a £40 storage charge "if I didn't take delivery on August 28". I accepted to take delivery on August 28. The goal posts were then moved where I was told I had to take delivery "anytime" from August 24 whilst I was still away. The selective narrative that they've chosen to share is appalling.

As for the delivery driver "knocking on my door multiple times" and "multiple phone calls" this is a complete lie which can be verified by my phone history. I was notified at 5:30am of a delivery window of 14:30-16:30pm. I got notified by text that the goods were "delivered" at 12:59pm. I called back within 5 mins (as there was ONE missed call at this time) and he said he was "out of area" and didn't care that he was outside the delivery window, that he had just dumped goods outside, or that was on my own. Of course I told him to have a bad day because he destroyed mine.

At no point was I told that this was going to be a "kerbside delivery" or any of the terms that they have now quoted below which by the way is in breach of the consumer credit act.

The reply below is just further demonstration of their lack of care for customers. I suppose it would be fine if you want to use this service and just accept that their delivery, customer care and any after sales support whatsoever is completely unprofessional.

Inadvertently your email regarding the shower door 6 weeks after the delivery reminded me that I had not invoiced the customer and completely forgot! So thank you for that. Phew

Prompt reliable value for money

Excellent product. Arrived on time. No problems.

Ordered a basin in July, was told not in stock, was happy to wait, told it would be early Sept, then near the date (when I was ready to install) they moved back to November!
The went to order a radiator only to discover this was out of stock as well.
The sink meanwhile, that had been out of stock since July and wasn't expected back in stock until November, still showing as in stock on their website (in Aug).
Probably a great company to use if they actually stocked the products they advertise.

Good communication fast delivery

Good delivery service. Arrived on time and sturdy product. Sadly we have been unable to fit as yet due to removal of existing seat so can’t comment further. One star lost in view of number of requests for a review!

Really poor experience with QS Supplies. I asked to cancel an order for a standard, off-the-shelf Grohe tap before it had been delivered, due to delays in delivery requiring us to purchase the item elsewhere to avoid expensive delays to our project. They refused, claiming that because they had to order it in specially, it was “non-cancellable and non-returnable”.

My understanding is that a retailer calling a standard product a “special order” does not simply remove your statutory consumer cancellation rights.

To make matters worse, after requesting cancellation, the scheduled delivery was suddenly brought forward to today.

Unfortunately, it now looks like I’ll have to pursue this through Trading Standards and a chargeback with my bank to recover the money.

Very disappointing experience and not what I’d expect from a reputable retailer.
