PT Sessions with Dave Fuller at PureGym
I'd never really been to a gym before, despite being very active and generally fit. I really wanted to find someone who could teach me more about proper nutrition, which equipment to use and plan out a way to reach my fitness goals.
Dave takes the time to respond to injuries, and can adapt his sessions on the fly; he's knowledgeable and actively seeks out new techniques and understanding for his clients. Been training with him for 3 months now and will be continuing.
PureGym is a convenient place to train, especially 2hrs free parking and 24/7 access. Sometimes the equipment can be busy, or you can't find the attachment you need, but overall a reasonably priced option.

Skydome Puregym is a friendly gym
Skydome is a friendly gym where members mind their own business. There is enough equipment that suits what you want to achieve. If you want to lose weight, there is equipment for that. If you just want to tone yourself you can find the right equipment. If you are not too sure of anything, the staff are very friendly and approachable. If you need a personal trainer they are more than happy to help you. If you want to join a class you can do so.
If you feel you need a shower after a work out, the bathrooms are very clean. The toilets are also clean. The atmosphere is very friendly.

Dave is a great PT
Dave is a great PT. He explains techniques clearly in every session. He is very positive and encouraging. It was a really good experience training with him and I have gained a lot of muscle.

PT sessions with Dave Fuller are amazing!
After nearly a decade of avoiding physical activity due to injuries, I struggled with gym anxiety and a lack of confidence. Moving back to Coventry and knowing anyone made it even harder. I found a PT in Dave Fuller on Instagram, and he was at PureGym, which was perfect. During our first session, he took the time to understand my history, concerns, and goals. His personal experience with injury and rehab made him relatable, and he helped rebuild my confidence through guidance, technique coaching, and progress tracking. The results have been amazing; I feel stronger and more confident. Dave is attentive to my injuries should anything flair up, adapting exercises when necessary. I highly recommend him—he’s not only an excellent trainer but also a genuinely nice person!

No contact after membership suspended…
After my membership had been suspended and left locked out the gym. I was told to email the manager to get a reason why my membership had been suspended.
Having awaiting over a week without acres to the gym and unable to attend the gym within the hours it’ll be manned. I accepted to still pay for a membership.
In that time someone has tried to access the gym as I’ve received email informing me my access is denied. I’ve now paid for a week’s membership without access and no contact. Cancelled direct debt for next month.
Due to my work pattern, attending the gym in manning hours is pretty much impossible. This is why I become a member of a gym with 25 access. I have emailed the gym over a week ago.

As well as contacting via email you can also visit the gym during staffed hours. On entry you can press the assist button which will alert a member of our team who can look into this for you.
Alternatively you can reach out back to Member Services. They will be unable to remove the suspension added in club, but can also contact the Gym Manager to escalate. Thanks, PureGym

Membership suspended no reason or warning.…
Went to the gym in the morning to find my account suspended. No one contactable in the gym or via phone. Only via Facebook messenger which could take up to 12 hours.
Unable to log into my account, message stating my account is suspended contact customer services, the number is no longer in operation. No warning or email to say my account was suspended or a reason.
Had to leave the gym. Facebook chat told me to contact the local gym but my subscription fee would still be take whilst my account was suspended.
Emailed the gym with not response.
Cancelled my direct debt.

I joined PureGym a little over 8 months ago with no prior gym experience. On my first day I did the induction with one of their on-site Personal Trainers, Barry. He walked me through the basics of how to use the facilities and equipment. I needed a personal trainer to help me build form so I hired him on the spot as he made a good first impression. It’s been an amazing experience working with him. Barry excels in tailoring his training regimen to the level of his client. I have gradually progressed from newbie to someone who knows what they are doing in the gym. He emphasises building good and sustainable habits for an overall life changing experience. Beyond that he’s morphed into a good friend. I would recommend anyone looking to start their fitness journey reach out to them.

Coming from a different country I had various doubts when I just paid for the subscription on the app. But the gym was really good and has versatile equipment for various needs and for all kinds of people. Best gym I have been to in a long time.
