We were going on a flight to Boston and my wife went to Publix in Delray Beach Florida and she purchased Brie Cheese. Grapes and french Bread. Once we were on the plane my wife opened the Brie and
The Cheese was green with mold and it immediately stunk up the plane and we quickly had to triple bag everything and threw everything away. Everyone looked at us like we were horrible people. When we came back my wife went down to the same Publix to complain and the Manager didn’t care and told us that unless we could prove that this happened they wouldn’t be able to help us. We reached out to corporate and again we never heard back again. It has been six months now and we never heard back so we shop at Aldi and Win Dixie now and will never shop at Publix again

I don’t understand it, when I moved to Fla at the age of 11 to Naples Fl, Publix was THE store. They CARED about the public , their customers. Now, forget about it. I travel all over the state, and very little customer service is practiced in Publixs . Here’s the thing, there’s a lot more places to choose from, Publix. I bought some hummus last night and in a hurry did not check the date. It expired on the 20th of JULY ! Wow. Now that’s some lazy business right there. That was at the Publix in San Carlos, Fla… where shopping is NOT a pleasure, especially when I have to wait for personal phone calls to end and the lottery tickets sold. Then they’ll address the situation.
That’s why there’s Fresh Market, Whole Foods, Aldi’s, Sprouts , Winn Dixie even . At least they’ll ask me if they can help find anything, and the deli personnel is friendly and not angry they have to work.

Ordered a cake from the Lutz bakery and it was a sloppy job. How difficult is it to do a round cake with white frosting and black trims only. You can see the cake in areas and bubbles too. Glad I didn't ask for writing. Second time I got an order cake. First time they forgot to make a graduation cake. Never again.

On 7-20-24 I spent 45 minutes trying to sign up! I followed instructions on the "Savings starts at signups." When this didn't work I went directly to the Publix site and signed up & got email confirmation code. I never received an email coupon back. Not thinking much further on that, today I went to Publix Apex Lutz Florida 33549/cashier Christine & gave her my "Savings starts at sign up" with code # on it. I knew what my approximate total would be. I checked out & looked at my receipt to find there was no $5 off. I brought it to cashier's attention and then she wanted to send me to customer service. I stated to her "the only place I was going was home as I'm done with Publix!" I had spent my valuable time signing up for nothing.. wasn't going to waste any more of my time. Also, two years ago at same Publix I ordered a "mini sugar free specialty cake" $20.00 for my mother turning 90. I called that morning to discover they didn't receive the cake from corporate in Lakeland. Can you imagine, & they didn't have the courtesy to phone me about!! Ok 100 percent I'm DONE WITH PUBLIX! Stick with your customers who don't care how much of their money they waste on outrageous prices; however nowadays many only shop there for BOGOs. I will stick with Walmart and Aldi. I noticed you can't leave zero stars.. but if I could have I would have!! I've got last laugh, my elderly disabled "fixed income" neighbor was having a hard time managing her monthly budget. Come to find out too much of her money was being wasted at this same Publix. She now shops at Walmart & Aldi & now has plenty of money left which goes into her own savings account. Plus these two stores have employees that help her do all her shopping. Yes, corporate greed as stated by others. Nuff said.

I love Publix,but I've gone in there twice trying to get the cantaloupe bogo and they haven't had any.

Prices are too high, and the managers think they are law enforcement and judges. They are just wanna be tyrants. Greedy big company.

PUBLIX IN GULF BREEZE FL NEAR NAVARRE AND TIGERS POINT sell EDIBLE items of which they do NOT KNOW the source. Produce and bin foods state that Origin and other WRITTEN INFO is available at the desk but NO ONE KNOWS WHERE THIS INFO IS, nor WHERE THE FOOD CAME FROM - NOT EVEN STORE MANAGERS.
FRAUDULENT.

The Chantilly Cake that Publix advertises on TV has nothing to do with the one I buy at the store located at 9420 SW 56th ST, Miami FL 33165, they barely put fruit inside as it appears in the commercial.

I'm totally sick and tired of throwing almost all produce at Publix away. Even the employees agree with me that watermelon is tasteless and never ever ripe. The apples are like cardboard, grapes never sweet, the berries all rotten and mushy, the tomatoes with skin a half inch thick and no sweetness at all. I can go on and on but nothing ever changes. Managers can't do a thing and we suckers keep paying outrageous prices for a watermelon the size of a volleyball or less and throw the junk away because you can't eat it. Every person I talk to says the same thing. The country is monopolized by corporations and all the grocery stores sell the same awful junk while nothing ever changes. Managers have NO power at all and can't send anything back while the corporation makes billions stealing our money.
Just horrible how far Publix and all groceries have gone down in quality with people that don't even know what aisle's things are in today and they used to be great.

Publix I like you I really do but you must do better with your meatloaf it's disgusting unseasoned. I didn't feel like a whole fuss with dinner so I said let me try something different OMG if there were a poster child for fat meat is greasy this meatloaf would be it because it's greasy and seasoned the most that I could do for us to make this 1/2 way tollerable was to add ketchup and hot sauce...you missed the mark on this on it's really bad you to remove it from your shelves this cost me 8.99 plus tax the little bit that was left over went to the dog! Very disappointed!

We have a new Publix coming to our area and at first I was really excited to have something other than Kroger to shop at. So I went online to get an idea ahead of time the pricing and the product availability. To my extreme surprise, they do not list any prices, not even if you sign up for their club program. So I called customer service and they said they never list the prices except for things on sale but even then it states you can save up to a certain amount. How do I know if it really is a sale or not if I don't know the original price and the new sale price. I think they are deceitful and hiding who they really are.

Also the only way to put things in the cart is to go through the delivery and pickup which uses Instacart. So I would have to pay a service fee even though I would be picking it up.

I then asked the associate I was talking to, to remove my account. I will not shop where you cannot be more transparent than what you are being. This is the ONLY store I have ever visited online that does not show their pricing. Not very impressed and will not patronize.

I order cake on the Publix website for my friend for her birthday and when they got home, there was a bag in the middle of her chocolate red velvet cake.

I was in Publix located at 1731 Rutherford blvd, Murfreesboro, Tennessee.Manager tells me she has on tape my two boys acting up in bathroom. I have no problem punishing my boys, but do they allow cameras to be recording in restrooms?

Everyone working there is RUDE!!!! The pricing is ridiculous. $5.00 for four donuts. That we ended up throwing away, cause they were stale.NOT FRESH. And they didn't even have orange juice. OnYou lost another customer. Winn-Dixie here we come.

Publix is one of the best super markets around. Their products are high quality, and the customer service is excellent. We have been shopping at Publix for many years, and plan to continue.

I ordered a sub online and it said it would be ready for pick up at 12, however I waited in the store till 12 but when I went to pick it up they had not even started it. So I would appreciate if it actually was done when stated

I just visited store 1347 in Sebring FL and had the worst service that I have ever had at a Publix store. The associate in the seafood dept got a smart attitude when I asked to see some salmon. When I got to the register to pay the cashier Angela was rude and did not care how I requested my groceries to be bagged. I explained that everything could go in one bag except for my two bags of chips which I wanted in a separate bag so they did not get crushed. She rang up my groceries, put the eight items in three bags after I had requested one, and did not ring up the chips. I nicely reminded her politely not to forget the chips and she said she had completed my transaction, so a second transaction had to be done. I have shopped at this store many times and never received the rudeness like I did today. If Mr. Jenkins had witnessed my experience today he would have been disgusted. I will be shopping elsewhere in future.

I love the subs without the bread, in other words, a salad. So I decided to order one at Wellen Park publix, Venice. They gave me shredded lettuce, that was awful. Shredded lettuce should not be considered in a salad. I never was given shredded lettuce in a salad. Is it a training issue?
