Considering we have been through a few heatwaves in the last few months I was amazed today when just a couple of hours before closing on a Saturday I popped in and asked if they would be able to do an AC re-gas.
Without hesitation and after checking what refrigerant type my car needed they took my car straight in and refilled the AC system while I waited.
A very quick and courteous service, thank you to all who were working today.

The Manager there was lovely, extremely friendly and helpful. The work on my car was done efficiently and not too long to wait above the hour specified.
I think the waiting area could do with a re-vamp. There were lots of people waiting for the work to be completed on their cars so it could be made more comfortable.

Visited Protyre on the Granby and everything changed. Nothing was too much of a problem. They were quick efficient and had the car fixed and back on the road by close of play at 4 pm.
A huge thank you to the whole team, your customer service and professionalism was 2nd to none when everybody else failed.

I recently went to my local branch Bathwick Tyres in Weymouth and got them to carry out an air con regas service which price wise was competitive with other garages locally which was £75 with in 1 week the air con was blowing red hot I called to ask why this was and was told that after the machine does its checks it dispenses the gas and that they do not offer a refund after this process which I do understand but felt like I had just burnt £75 on nothing surly a test to make sure this doesn't happen should be in place I asked and was told other than the machine checks no there isn't .
I had also booked an MOT service there again reasonable on price .
I took it in on Friday morning and asked to be let know when the MOT was complete this didn't happen I had to look online to see it had failed.
I called and was told they could fit the tyre which was one failure I asked the price and was quoted £180 I looked on line and it was £139.99 he then said let me see what I can do .
The other issue was the track rod end needed replacing which was a 2 hour job so could have been carried out on the day however the "mechanic wasn't there and had locked his tools away" was the answer I got but they could do the work Monday which meant the whole weekend I was unable to use my car as it had failed the MOT .
I really wanted to have good things to say about the service and wanted to be able to promote a local business however I just felt remarkably let down by it all and will be hesitant to use again or recommend to anyone .

Dropped the car off the night before as I had to be at work early the next morning, the team were fine about this. Booked in for 2 new tyres and an MOT. I had to call back late afternoon to get confirmation of the MOT status which the car had failed (in the morning) but luckily the part that needed fixing was available within the hour but if I hadn’t have called would I have received any call that day in time for the car to be fixed? When I collected the car the guys apologised as they were very busy and the team were very helpful and friendly.
i had an appointment booked and arrived 5 mins early my car was driven around the back within 10 mins but i waited 2 1/2 hours to have 2 tyres fitted which i feel is totally unexeptable. amongst the many excuses for the delays was that they were having trouble with the tracking as the bolts were seized. THE CAR WAS NOT BOOKED FOR WHEEL ALIGNMENT ONLY 2 TYRES

Really helpful and although they could help with a replacement rim, they were very good when I returned for the tyre. Respectful too!

I have always used the Dorchester branch of Protyre and they have always been on time for me at the booked appointment. This was my first experience at the Weymouth branch and although the standard of work was high, the tyres were good value for the price and the staff were friendly, I had a 40 minute wait after my allotted booking time before they started replacing my tyres with an excuse that they had just had some tyres delivered. Not very impressed and hope that the Dorchester branch is open in the near future.

Friendly staff. Went above and beyond to deal with a missing locking wheel nut.

Arrived as per the agreed time. Tyre was fitted within 20 minutes. Good price too!
Ayrton, the manager, was extremely helpful.
Great staff and always give genuine advice, not looking to up-sell at all.
