Extremely rude and aggressive staff member
The last couple times I’ve been to Alba tyres for an AC Regas I’ve had no problems, the staff are usually professional and friendly and have no issues. This particular incident (29/08) I brought my car down for a Regas and the gentlemen with the braids requested me to sit inside the waiting area and not inside my vehicle. I do appreciate garages have procedures that they follow. But twice before I had been for AC regas and they have never requested me to leave the vehicle, they have said it’s fine for me to wait with the car. There was a gentlemen who I’ve seen before and has done my regas before was there but he did not intervene. It was his colleague with the braids who was being extremely rude and confrontational. I was going out to clear my car of personal belongings and he further asked me to leave the vehicle. To which I said, “that’s fine but just making you aware that this has never been a problem before your colleagues have said it’s been fine for me to sit with the vehicle” To which he quite aggressively yelled and said “STEP OUT THE VEHICLE AND HAND ME YOUR KEY, WHY ARE YOU ARGUING BACK”. The manner of which he spoke to me is inexcusable and it is the deciding factor of why I will not return to this garage in the future. Given there was a number of colleagues around hearing this and did not intervene. It may not seem a big deal to these people losing one customer, but given the number of times I have returned before, they have just lost a repeat customer. The gentlemen who spoke to me in such a manner should be retrained and disciplined because his aggressive tone is intimidating and inexcusable. Particularly as I did not speak to him with any sort of rude tone.

Very pleasant and courteous staff. I was able to wait in the seating area, charge my dying phone and enjoy a coffee from the machine. Great service!

One star deducted as tyre pressures werent set to manufacturers pressures, but left far too high.

Brilliant service, nothing seems to be too much trouble. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I thought there was something wrong with my exhaust but there wasn't. Didn't charge me for looking. Didn't try and upset. Will use again
