Someone is needed on the service desk. I phoned 6 times to find out if my car was ready. It went to auto service saying it was busy. The service on my car was good, but communication is not good.

⭐ 1/5 – Poor Service, Lack of Knowledge and Unprofessional Staff
I had a booking for Saturday, 24/10/2026, at 3:30 pm. I called earlier to confirm, only to be told they couldn’t do the job and had to reschedule it for Monday.
On Monday, I called twice to make sure everything was going ahead, only to be told that the front tyre sizes I wanted were “illegal.” However, I checked directly with my insurer, who confirmed they were allowed as long as they were declared as a modification.
I’ve already contacted another garage, whose staff seem to have proper knowledge, and they confirmed that fitting the tyre size I wanted wouldn’t be a problem, as long as I informed my insurer about the modification.
The staff at Protyre seemed to lack the knowledge expected from professionals and were unable to provide clear, accurate advice.
After having my time wasted twice, I decided to cancel my order. I wouldn’t trust people who can’t provide accurate advice to work on my car.
Very disappointing experience. Poor communication and questionable knowledge. Would not recommend.

I arrived at the garage 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment and was greeted by Reece and nothing seemed to be a problem.
Car was immediately put on the ramp and I was dealt with very efficiently.

Happy with the car service and MOT
I was happy with the car service and MOT done, my car failed the MOT and needed repair which was done on the same day.
The booking process was difficult as my car is hybrid and the website didn't let me book directly.

Jason the manager was very rude and an helpful.He is very rude to his staff especially Reece who was helpful and personable who is a credit to your company and he should be the manager !
As a woman coming into your workplace

I handed my car in for a MOT on Monday…
I handed my car in for a MOT on Monday 21st October at 1055 for an 1100 booking. I said I would go for a coffee and return. I returned at 1145 to see my car only just going into the MOT bay, I then waited until 1235 to get my car back. I can except a five or ten minute delay but a forty five minute delay is unacceptable and bad service.
