Abingdon branch - Incredibly helpful and accommodating. Kept to my appointment time and fitted the two tyres very quickly and for a good price. They also had stock where others didn’t. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Awful. I had phone them up before my M.O.T asked can they test it. However if it fails will you be able to repair the issue. They said YES that's totally fine. However they abandoned my test and said you have an issue with power steering. We arent doing anymore. This wasn't what they said on the phone beforehand and no refund offer for not even doing the test.

On Bank Holiday Monday (25th May) I went along for an urgent puncture repair, as the website made a big thing of them being open on the Bank Holiday from 9.00. I sat outside in the heat for an hour and a half,til 10.15, with no sign of any activity then gave up and found Kwik Fit in Abigdon WERE open and sorted the tyre.
Not very impressed!

Very efficient. Have had MOT and service recently, but also an unexpected visit which required immediate attention as car undriveable. I was thankful they were able to fix it and got it back the same day.

This garage is becoming my go-to garage in Abingdon.
The staff are kind and patient, and they do their best to understand the issues I’m having, even though I don’t know much about cars.

With the name tyre in your company name I would expect the tyre pressure to at least be the same on the rear tyres, one was 30 and the other 38psi. I spotted this when I got home and could see one tyre was low. You need to do better.

Got there at 11.55 for a change of front tyres, car was ready at 12.40. There was a little hitch... as two sets of tyres with the same size had been delivered that morning, and my car ended up with one tyre of one type (Continental) and one of the other (Goodyear) - which I didn't notice.

As soon as Protyre realised, they called me (multiple times, as I was on the phone) and waited well beyond their normal closing time to swap the wrong tyre.

Accidents happen, but how a business recovers from them is often more telling than when everything goes fine. A big thank you to Jason and the whole team at Protyre.

I did the MOT and whole process is smooth and efficient. Only one thing to suggest is there should be a clear signage for showing where is the guest parking.

I have been using this garage for nearly decade now. Highly recommended. Great service from Jason.

Very polite and helpful staff.
Lack of parking is a big issue though - i arrived few minutes before my 8.30 appointment and there was literally nowhere to park safely (how come there were so many vehicles outside before they even opened?). It would be helpful to be told in advance of other parking options (the overflow area is right around the corner).

Onlne booking process easy, polite friendly desk staff and explanation of service findings were all excellent
