Great communication from enquiry to departure and son had a great time. Staff ensured he was given opportunities beyond what was initially planned and discussed. It was such ax great opportunity and learning experience. We will be looking to book with projects abroad for our youngest son when he's old enough!

It was the best time for my daughter. She experienced medical real life, getting really close up with everything, had a great family to live in, made frieds and got to know Peru’s landscapes and culture. She is actually looking now for the next trip and I have to say it was extremely well organized and I always felt, that she was completly save!

The High school programme was fantastic, my daughter loved being with her own age group both working with them and going on trips at the weekend.

Advise and help always available . My daughter had a fantastic time, made wonderful new friends from all around the world. Loved the charity work and the children. I would not hesitate to recommend Projects Aboard’s youth summer trips.

My son participated in the medical program in Mongolia with Project Abroad during the summer while he was in high school, and it was an amazing experience. He gained valuable hands-on exposure to healthcare, learned a great deal, and made lasting friendships with students from around the world.
The program also included fun activities and opportunities to explore the local culture. As a parent, I felt reassured knowing there was consistent adult supervision and that the accommodations were safe and well organized.
This experience had a meaningful impact on him and even became the topic of his college application essay. He was later accepted into his first-choice university as a pre-med student.
We highly recommend Project Abroad!

The communication with the organiser before the trip was great and helped with all our questions.

For me, as a parent, collaborating with Proiect Abroad meant trust, perfect organization, and safety. Everything was very well organized, and communication was the most important thing.

My daughter enjoyed two weeks in Tanzania in the summer of 2025. Projects Abroad provided the right balance of promoting independent travelling and providing structured support - entrusting my daughter to get to Tanzania, with an organised schedule thereafter.
She loved the balance of constructive work and exploring a new country. She learned to build relationships and to make new friends. She broadened her understanding of the world and its wide and varied cultures.
During her time in Africa, she received her exam results and had to endure a stressful three hours awaiting news of her university place. During this period the PA staff made appropriate arrangements to ensure she was supported, and then made sure that everyone celebrated her achievements.
Would absolutely recommend.

This program was perfect for me. the perfect mix of learning medicine and free time allowed me to be enthusiastic during every placement and workshop I had. The sight seeing as well was amazing, exploring the beautiful city of Cusco.

My daughter had an amazing adventure, meeting new people from all over the world and living her best life whilst learning new life skills. The family run conservation in Mexico was very welcoming and made them feel safe from the moment they landed, with lots of fun thrown in.

The pre-departure information sessions were excellent, providing clear and thorough guidance. Having access to staff both in Australia and at the destination made it easy to have questions answered promptly, which was greatly appreciated. The level of planning, organisation, and attention to detail gave me strong confidence in the care and supervision provided for the children.
The trip itself was outstanding, and the duty of care met all expectations. I felt very comfortable entrusting my son to Projects Abroad.
I would highly recommend Projects Abroad. It was truly a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience for my son, who also had the opportunity to build lasting friendships with participants from around the world.

Our daughter had a truly wonderful experience with Project Abroad in Nepal. The program was very well organized, and beyond the volunteering aspect, it was an incredibly enriching human and cultural experience for her. She became deeply engaged in the project, gained confidence and maturity, and connected with students from many different countries and backgrounds.

Our son went to Thailand for the diving and marine conservation from Australia and the service which started before the trip until he got home was nothing short of amazing. He was well looked after by the staff, airlines and hotel, with projects abroad making it all seamless. As a parent, projects abroad was amazing and they gave him the experience of a lifetime. Fully recommend,

my daughter (16 y.o.) had a fantastic experience in Kenya, helping to renovate a school classroom in a poor neighbourhood and keeping kids entertained in English in afternoon. She was part of a group of 6, they were all hosted within one big family house. A lifetime experience ! I strongly recommend.

My son had a great experience!
He thoroughly enjoyed the animal interactions and meeting new kids his age with similar interests.
During his time in the Galapagos, he became ill and the PA team did an excellent job taking care of him and keeping us updated at home.

My time working in the Philippines was an incredible experience and a true blessing. Getting to know the families of San Remigio was deeply rewarding, and while the assignment was challenging, I wouldn’t change a single thing about it.
A huge part of my success was thanks to the Projects Abroad Coordinator, Janely. She is an absolute rockstar and an incredible mentor who pushed me out of my comfort zone, helping me achieve so much in such a short time. Additionally, the host family I stayed with has become like my own; I’ve established lifelong friendships that I will always treasure.
Between the rich culture, the warm people, and the delicious Filipino cuisine, I fell in love with the country. Living in Bogo was a major highlight, and having pristine beaches and perfect weather nearby was the cherry on top. I would do this all over again in a heartbeat!

I had previous experience in Mexico with this company so felt confident booking for the Galapagos Islands.
From being collected from the airport to being delivered back for the return flight I couldnt fault the staff or the company. I would however recommend completing all the online courses before leaving as your expectations must be in line with where you are going. Understanding local customs and way of life is vital for your enjoyment.
I have met some amazing people an im still in contact with a few special ones. The volunteering element though sometimes hard work (depending what you've signed up for of course) but there is loads of free time to explore this amazing planet of ours.
