My daughter did the high school special for medicine. It was awesome. The support was exceptional and the experiences they provided were phenomenal.

I loved the variety of activities that were offered. The activities we were exposed to were not only shadowing, but also many interactive workshops and outreaches that were very educational and exciting.

Went to the galapagos islands to help with conservation! It was amazing and I had a great time despite the relatively hard work we were doing. we had a lot of free time to explore and the beaches were incredible. I felt like I was doing something to help the cause !

I’m a sixth form college teacher and used Projects Abroad to provide an immersive experience in Tanzania for 39 students. We worked in a rural Maasai primary school and had the most amazing time. The Projects Abroad teams both in Tanzania and the UK were so thorough and effective. I strongly recommend this organisation and will be using them again for certain.

The staff was very friendly and the host family was amazing they were so friendly and welcoming. The staff was very knowledgeable on everything and make sure you were safe. The host family was very welcoming and made sure you had everything you needed. They also went out of their way to make sure you felt comfortable and even with the language barrier they were still very easy to talk to.

Projects abroad did an amazing job of integrating fun, project involvement, and cultural education. The staff was incredible and so kind. My host family was so welcoming and so incredibly wonderful and kind. I would love to join another projects abroad project because of how much fun I had on this one. I’m already an emotional person, but saying goodbye to the staff, country, and people whom I had grown such strong bonds with in just two weeks was so hard. This trip will live in my heart forever and I will forever carry the memories with me. Thank you projects abroad for making this trip so incredibly amazing and giving a trip I can remember for the rest of my life 💓

I had a very good host as well as peers and staff, and the program was also better than I was expecting, even though the activities and work were generally the same.

I think it was an amazing experience because I learned about a new culture, and because I discovered how good Ghanaian food was. Also I discovered a passion for teaching kids football which is my favourite sport

What made my experience great was the guidance and friendliness I received both from the people at Projects Abroad and at Foresight Engineering where I worked for 4 weeks! At Foresight, the staff not only made an effort to make me feel welcome throughout the duration of my placement, but were always open to sharing insight into the kind of work the company were involved in. I encourage anyone looking to gain some experience and who is perhaps unsure about what kind of career they'd like to go into to consider applying! It's also amazing to experience temporarily living in a completely new location and the staff at work were keen for you to visit other places of their island!

The Projects Abroad Microfinance Program in Arusha gave me extremely valuable new experiences. They brought me to the women’s houses that we were helping and introduced me to their way of life. Projects Abroad gave me a new perspective on the world that I would not have gotten without them. I am forever grateful for Projects Abroad and everything they have done for me. I am also very thankful for the staff. The staff here at Projects Abroad are very helpful and answered all the questions that I asked in timely manner. Lastly, I am very thankful for the friends I have made who come from all over the globe. I have built relationships here that will last me a lifetime.

The team at Projects Abroad did a wonderful job! Having a zoom meeting with all the participants and staff before leaving home helped my daughter a lot once she got to Nepal. And the staff did an awesome job supporting her during her stay.

She experienced medical real life, getting really close up with everything, had a great family to live in, made frieds and got to know Peru’s landscapes and culture. She is actually looking now for the next trip and I have to say it was extremely well organized and I always felt, that she was completly save!

My son participated in the medical program in Mongolia with Project Abroad during the summer while he was in high school, and it was an amazing experience. He gained valuable hands-on exposure to healthcare, learned a great deal, and made lasting friendships with students from around the world.
The program also included fun activities and opportunities to explore the local culture. As a parent, I felt reassured knowing there was consistent adult supervision and that the accommodations were safe and well organized.
This experience had a meaningful impact on him and even became the topic of his college application essay. He was later accepted into his first-choice university as a pre-med student.
We highly recommend Project Abroad!
