The web site gives full and clear information on the tools on offer, ordering is very easy. Delivery was very quick (ordered on a Sunday and arrived the next day) as well as trouble free with tracking available in good time. The courier is DPD who in my experience offers the best service with a 1 hour delivery window that is trustworthy. Prices are very competitive as well. Very highly recommended.

We bought a chainsaw from them, it arrived on time, on plugging in the battery to charge a dreadful smell came out of the machine and the unit got extremely hot. It was then a nightmare trying to return the item to them and get the money back from them. After an initial good response, they stopped communicating and we still have not got our money back. I would never use them again.

Great price for items purchased but didn’t deliver next day. Website says order by 7 pm for next day delivery so my order was accepted for 6.31pm so I expected next day delivery. Unfortunately although I got a message to say it had been shipped the next morning it was actually still sitting in their yard awaiting collection by DPD. I guess the person that picks the items fancied an early night!

Pay for Saturday delivery DPD cant deliver then they still tip even though you told them to cancel! Then make you pay to return the item !!! AVOID

Good price, speedy delivery, what’s not to like !

I agree they have good prices for items they claim are in stock. Briefly after 4 days my orders were still not delivered, Firtlstly one was delayed and held in the depot then the next time it was apparently damaged and was being returned although no one mentioned this to me waiting days for nothing. The other item was being delivered within an hour window then despite being in and waiting I got a message from the courier sorry they missed me. I have video evidence of no attempt being made and the supllied proof was of a car outside a bay window which we do not have any examples of in my road. The worst bit is the pathetic service from this company. They wont replace the goods I have never received or refund the money untill they get the goods back which they cant tell you when this will be. This is their courier with their goods that never reached me and I have to wait for my money back when its all their issues. Save yourself hassle and bypass this company not worth it for a few quid saved.

I have used Power Tool World in the past and have found them to be excellent on price, choice & delivery and have no hesitation in recommending them.

i recently purchased some Milwaukee cordless drills and pack out system from power tool world and the prices were very competitive but the the delivery times was the most impressive thing arrived before they said it would and was packed very well so no chance of damage very impressed

I ordered a Trend KWJ950/PRO worktop jig on Thursday 25 June 2026 at 17:25, before Power Tool World’s stated 7pm Monday–Thursday next-working-day cut-off. The item was shown as in stock and was needed on site for Monday 08:00.

By Friday I still had to chase the order myself. I called their customer service number and had no answer for nearly 45 minutes. When I eventually got support, they could not explain why the order had not already been dispatched. I was told it would be dispatched as soon as possible and that Saturday delivery should happen, but then I was put on hold and the call was disconnected without explanation.

Shortly afterwards, I received an email saying DPD had confirmed delivery only for Monday during the day. That is too late for a trade-critical item needed at 08:00.

The issue is not only the delay. It is the advertising of next-working-day delivery, the lack of clear dispatch information, the unanswered phone line, the disconnected support call, and no practical solution offered. A refund is not a solution when the tool is needed on site and refund funds take time to return.

I would not rely on Power Tool World for urgent trade-critical orders.
