I would massively avoid
I would massively avoid! We had an awful experience from the beginning. Communication was shocking, we had our case handler removed and just handed a new one with no explanation or notice. They also didn’t pay the correct redemption figure to our previous mortgage lender, and are happy to just walk anyway leaving us to deal with their failings, showing no accountability or support for the situation they caused. Terrible customer service.

First Time Buyers — Thank you, Rubina!
As first time buyers, this is all so new to us and Rubina Rob has been superb in making such a daunting experience easy and smooth. She’s super friendly and gets things done very quick! Nothing has been too much for her and she has been so patient regarding anything I’ve needed clarification on.
Honestly, I could not recommend her more and will definitely come back to hopefully work with her in the future. We’ve exchanged contracts today and will complete on Thursday and none of this would have been possible without Rubina.
We are buying a shared ownership property that is move in ready and in all the process has taken us around 2 months for anyone wondering.

After a very poor start to my conveyancing experience, where much of my time and efforts were wasted by Matthew Howard and Sam Burton, Rubina took over my case.
Once she did, things rapidly improved. Rubina kept me in the loop and was very responsive to emails and phone messages. She understood my frustrations with the previous handlers and dealt with my case in an efficient and professional manner.

Poor experience.
As a relatively new director of a company, there was a lot of the process of buying a house through a Ltd company I didn’t have full understanding off which from the start I made aware to the solicitors.
How ever this wasn’t taken into consideration. Parts of the process was delayed where I had to have alternate solicitor advice for help due to communication with PLS being poor. I was never able to directly contact my solicitor as every time I contacted them it was someone different dealing with the case.
The app they use isn’t workable via an IPhone with the amount of documents you have to read. With my job being very remote and working away I didn’t have access to a laptop when needed. They rely on the app to much rather than sending emails directly to yourself for updates.
Individuals of the companies were rude to me on the phone when I would call to try and ask for help as they wrote the majority of emails in a way where if you wasn’t a solicitor they were hard to understand.
The communication between PLS and the estate agents were also very poor. To a point where I had to ring the solicitors, ask for certain documents to be sent to my self & then I would have to forward to the estate agents.
Forms where I had to sign were half filled out where the solicitors didn’t fill out simple information for example my name, address of the property purchase, etc etc. an extra burden I didn’t need especially with the amount of money your paying the solicitors.
Would not recommend to small businesses. Or individuals buying their own homes.
