Delivery is great. Presentation/ wrapping of item(s) is great. Retention of albums for use of photo books- the main product I go for - bad. Placement of photos - bad. I hate having my careful laid out page snapping into a programmed formation and having to redo everything again, painstakingly. Zooming in on page - could be more sensitive to needs. Hate the menu popping up next to the photo I am working on every single time I touch it and needing close it - it is distracting. Hate that an empty photoplaceholder automatically sends you to upload photos, when it gets clicked. Hate it that a finished product, but not yet a bought one, disappears totally, including the album the book derived it's photos from, if deleted from basket. I prepared the book, put it in the basket. Tweaked the layout a bit. Decided to buy the improved version rather than the one put in the basket. Didn't want to risk buying two unimproved versions on top of the improved ones, so deleted those before putting the saved one in the basket. Both the versions in the basket as well as the one that I intended to place into the basket - boom, gone. Not even the photo collection that I used for that album was there anymore.
I was NOT happy.
Had to do it all over again, from scratch.
I am still not happy.
I have a lot of projects going on and little time to do it in.

I have been using photobox for more than 10 years and have always been pleased with the service and the quality of my creations. I have made lovely memories both for myself and as gifts.

I found the site difficult to use as photo boxes and text boxes seemed to have a mind of there own and didn't always go where I wanted them.
I did like the final reminder about repeated photos and other problems before final purchase.
The finished book was lovely quality.

I've been creating photobooks for several years. My primary aim is to record, for my family, the people and events, I photograph. I couldn't imagine another company producing such fine books to record my work for posterity.

The end result was very good. Getting there was sometimes challenging. Learning how to use the application was rather frustrating.
I think the user interface could be improved in terms of providing guidance along side selection of particular facilities.

The site was so easy to use. With enhancement of your photo/picture if necessary, you can create a clear and precise image. The finished product was both memorable and affordable.

The album itself was wonderful but the front cover seemed dull. My only critism was this but I have found a wonderful cover which will resolve the issue

I have been a customer for 6 or 7 years now. I love taking family photos and since moving to Devon, I’ve added lots of snaps of the beautiful Devon coast and countryside. Every 6 months I pick out up to 80 photos and choose 20 to go in my wall frame. My family loves to look when they visit. Photo box is easy to use and helpful when making choices about size etc. prices are great and they arrive in no time at all. I wouldn’t use anyone else. Quality is great.

I spent two days making a photo book for my husband’s 50th birthday. Wanting to make sure it arrived on time, I paid a premium for delivery on 7 August. Late on 6 August, when it should have been well on its merry way, I received an email to say they were terribly busy so there was a ‘production delay’. Most e-commerce companies would flag this on their website to forewarn customers, but not this one. I called on 7 August to ask when I could expect it to go into print but no one knew, nothing could be done to expedite it and no offer of a refund on the premium delivery was forthcoming. I had time though so sat tight. The 10th rolled around, still in production. The birthday arrived and I was without a gift. The book remained a victim of mysterious, and seemingly impossible to predict or manage, ‘production delays’. I called again only to be told nothing could be done until it was over a week late. Oh, and the delivery dates are only ‘estimated’, which is absolutely not made clear and makes paying a premium as wise as burning money in your back garden. The moment had kind of passed when the book finally landed, a week late. No refund on the express delivery. No apology. Why bother. It’s of a decent enough quality so I’ve added a star for that but there are lots of photo printing companies out there and I’d definitely use a different one next time. You can’t treat customers like this and expect them to come back for more.

It works! I have used this firm for many years and always got good service. No reason to change.
