I have bought 2 roses from Beales this year so far. The first was a bare root and it really didn't look very well but I have potted it and it does seem to be sending out some small leaves. The second was a potter rose and it's much better, bigger and healthy looking. Over all, I'm pleased and can't wait to see some lovely blooms. Xx

Ordered Oxford Physics rose. I have wanted this one for some time. Gardener Ben on Youtube has recommended it for his "Shade Collection" The rose arrived, very quickly indeed. It is healthy with lots of growth and is in the ground. So far it's doing well, receiving around 5 hours direct sunlight a day. I am very excited about this one. It's an absolute beauty. Can't wait for it to flower.

There was a problem with the delivery of my order and I phoned to enquire about it. The lady I spoke to was so lovely and helpful and sent a replacement order to me. I really appreciated this as it was the couriers fault and not Peter Beatles Roses. The rose I received is excellent, far better than I imagined. Thank you so much

I’m very disappointed with their chosen delivery provider, DPD. They emailed me to confirm that my parcel from Peter Beales would arrive between 2:30 and 3:30 PM, 28 April). I stayed at home today specifically to receive this rose. However, at the last minute, they sent another message claiming that they had “missed me” and rescheduled delivery for tomorrow.

The next day, 29 April, I received a message from DPD at 19:28 PM saying, “Sorry, we missed you. Your driver, Vasile, won’t be back today, but you can still rearrange your delivery.” So, outrageously frustrated. I requested a refund and received it (hence 2 stars).

This was my first (and last) time ordering from Peter Beales Roses, and I regret making this purchase. No wonder so many people — myself included — highly recommend David Austin Roses.

Beautiful rose for a special anniversary. My sister was so impressed she has bought another one.

I ordered a black baccara hybrid tea rose and was sent a rose that had so much dieback on it. I had to prune it and still the rose is experiencing lots of dieback. I have emailed Peter Beale for help on how to make this rose survive but I doubt it is possible to save it now.

Do not order from this company. Stick to David Austin or Eastcroft Roses.

I ordered a potted rose on 22nd April, outside the time for a bare-root rose, correctly, April is too hot to plant a bare root rose. Delivery was very fast, just 2 days. Well done. But I needed to keep the rose for a family members birthday. Shouldn’t be a problem. I put it in a protected area out of direct sun and kept it sensibly watered. Despite that the three small buds that were breaking failed to thrive. One of the strong stems failed to show any buds at all, so in desperation yesterday I knocked the rose out of its pot to find that what I had got was a bare rooted rose that had been put into compost and had failed to make any new healthy roots. Effectively I had received an almost dead rose. And I paid the price for a potted rose.
I have been encouraging gardening friends to look beyond David Austin roses. "Look at Beales roses, they have some lovely roses". Never again. Stay away.

Good website and filters to find the rose I want, even though I'm no expert. Quick delivery, and the rose when it came (in a pot) looked like a really strong, healthy plant. You can get cheaper roses elsewhere, but I'm happy with what I paid - I feel the price reflects the quality and it's a really good plant.

I was a little disappointed when I put it in its container, the soil fell away from the rootball, there wasn’t any stability when I tried to take it out of the pot, it just fell out and all the soil went everywhere.🤔

Roger assisted me in selecting the best rose to grow in a pot, gave me all the information I needed to look after the rose a Blue Moon and all with a great deal of patience (my plant knowledge is minimal).
The ladies at checkout where polite and helpful.

Prompt delivery and well packed in a sturdy box. A long cane inserted into the plant pot protected the stems from any potential damage. Pot compost was dry , needing to be watered immediately. No sign of growth apart from a few emerging buds. This rose needs tender loving care to ensure it develops into a good specimen

The two roses were a great price and delivery was just as prompt as promised. I was disappointed though when I opened the box to find that a lot of the compost/mulch had fallen out of the two pots and a bottle of rose tonic that was part of my order was lying on top of both roses and had damaged them, with branches and growing tips snapped off both plants. So I deduce they were not couriered standing up as the box instructs! I emailed the company who apologised and just said plant them out and prune them lightly and if they don't survive there is a year's guarantee. So we shall see and hope they survive.

I’ve bought a number of roses from Peter Beales this year including Macmillan Nurse standards, Ballerina, For your eyes only and carpet rose coral. All arrived in great condition and are doing well in the garden.

Received Royal Parfuma rose within a couple of days. DPD delivery was excellent.
The rose is very healthy and growing already.
Am really pleased with the rose, it's delivery and healthiness.

Was well served by the company. The rose arrived on time in perfect condition, I was able to unpack it and put it in the pot straight away. I will certainly order from Peter Beales again.

Ordered on Thursday delivered first thing Saturday morning. Rose well packaged and in great condition. 'Blooming' good service. 👍
